How do I assemble the TOWER T19051RD Mini Chocolate Fountain?

1. Place the chocolate fountain on a firm, level surface. It is very important that the surface is level or the chocolate will not flow properly.

2. Place the spiral auger onto the motor base pin. The triangular slot will fit tightly over the motor base pin.

3. Place the tower over the spiral auger and fit into the guiding pins.

How do I operate the TOWER T19051RD Mini Chocolate Fountain?

1. Connect the chocolate fountain to the mains supply and turn the control switch to the Heat setting to start the pre-heating process. Allow the appliance to pre-heat for about five minutes before adding in the melted chocolate.

How should I prepare the chocolate mix for the TOWER T19051RD?

1. Melt the chocolate (approx 200g) in a pan or in a microwave. Add 1/2 – 3/4 cup of vegetable oil to thin the mixture. If available you can add melted cocoa butter instead of oil.

2. Carefully pour the chocolate mixture into the bowl on the base of the chocolate fountain. Fill the bowl so that it just covers the guiding pins.

3. Turn the control switch to the Heat Motor setting to activate the unit’s motor and begin the dispensing process. Please note: it may take 2-3 minutes for any air bubbles to settle and the chocolate to flow perfectly.

What are some tips for using the TOWER T19051RD?

• Un-thinned chocolate is unlikely to flow properly, if at all. The more oil you add the more smoothly, the chocolate will flow. A good test is to use a large spoon to check the flow of the mixture before adding to the chocolate fountain. Dip the spoon into the chocolate mix then pour the chocolate off the spoon. It should flow smoothly in a constant stream.

• The type of chocolate you use will determine how smoothly the chocolate flows over the tiers. Good quality chocolate will give better results as it has a higher percentage of cocoa butter.

• Many foods are suitable for dipping in the chocolate.

• You can add a small amount of warmed liqueur to the mix.

• If the fountain is dripping instead of flowing, this indicates that the mixture may be too thick. Just add some warmed vegetable oil.

• If the chocolate is not flowing in smooth sheets, it could mean the unit is not on a level surface.

• Try not to allow pieces of food to fall into the mixture as this could interfere with the smooth flow of the chocolate.

How should I clean and care for my TOWER T19051RD?

1. Before cleaning, turn off the appliance and remove the mains plug from the mains supply.

2. Make sure the Chocolate Fountain has cooled down completely before cleaning.

3. Remove the tower and spiral auger. Wash in hot, soapy water. Rinse and dry thoroughly.

4. Use a damp cloth to clean the remaining chocolate from the base. Dry thoroughly.

How should I store the TOWER T19051RD?

When the Chocolate Fountain is not in use, disconnect it from the mains supply and store it in a safe, dry place, out of reach of children.

What are the UK plug wiring instructions for the TOWER T19051RD?

The wires in the mains lead are labelled in accordance with the following code: Blue neutral [N] Brown live [L] Green/Yellow [EARTH].

For plug fitting:

• The wire labelled blue is the neutral and must be connected to the terminal marked [N].

• The wire labelled brown is the live wire and must be connected to the terminal marked [L].

• The wire labelled green/yellow must be connected to the terminal marked with the letter [E].

• On no account must either the brown or the blue wire be connected to the [EARTH] terminal.

• Always ensure that the cord grip is fastened correctly.

• The plug must be fitted with a fuse of the same rating already fitted and conforming to BS 1362 and be ASTA approved. If in doubt consult a qualified electrician.

WARNING: This appliance MUST be earthed!

What should I do if the fuse needs replacing in the non-rewireable plug of my TOWER T19051RD?

If your appliance is supplied with a non-rewireable plug fitted to the mains lead and should the fuse need replacing, you must use an ASTA approved one (conforming to BS 1362 of the same rating). If in doubt, consult a qualified electrician.

If you need to remove the plug – disconnect it from the mains – then cut it off of the mains lead and immediately dispose of it in a safe manner. Never attempt to reuse the plug or insert it into a socket outlet as there is a danger of an electric shock.

How should I dispose of the TOWER T19051RD at the end of its life?
