What is Standby Mode on the STUDEBAKER SB3500 ROOMMATE?
Standby Mode is the default mode the unit is in when you plug in the adaptor.
Standby Mode is also when:
• The STUDEBAKER SB3500 ROOMMATE is sitting idle with the time showing on the display.
• The AM/FM radio is not playing – you may need to adjust the volume control if needed to confirm if the radio is on or not.
• The Bluetooth and AUX indicators are OFF.
How do I put the STUDEBAKER SB3500 ROOMMATE into Standby Mode?
If the STUDEBAKER SB3500 ROOMMATE is in AM Mode, FM Mode, Bluetooth Mode or Aux-in Mode, the unit can be placed in Standby Mode by pressing and holding the SOURCE / Power button for 2-3 seconds.
How can I tell what mode the STUDEBAKER SB3500 ROOMMATE is in?
AM or FM RADIO MODE
• The unit shows the station frequency on the display for a few seconds and then reverts to the time while the radio is playing.
NOTE: There are no indicators showing the radio is ON once the time is showing, so you may need to adjust the volume control to increase the level in order to confirm if the radio is on or not.
BLUETOOTH MODE
• The Bluetooth indicator symbol is showing on the display.
AUX-IN MODE
• AUX is showing on the display.
How do I change the display brightness on the STUDEBAKER SB3500 ROOMMATE?
There are 3 brightness settings for the display (High/Med/Low).
• When the unit is in Standby Mode, press and hold the SNOOZE BUTTON until the display brightness changes to the next level.
• Press and hold the SNOOZE BUTTON again until the display brightness changes to the next level, and repeat until you get to the brightness level you need.
