• Perpendicular to the direction of the light bars (as shown in Figure 2 in the PDF), such as SE3000, SE4500, SE1200W.
• Installed on the single light bar in the middle (as shown in Figure 3 in the PDF), such as SE1500.
How do I secure the dimmer box?
How do I connect the power?
Connect the extension cord to the driver, then plug it into the socket and turn on the light.
Warning! Ensure the female connector of the LED driver power supply cable is correctly aligned with the corresponding male connector on the driver, and tighten.
Warning! Upon receiving the product, please check to ensure that all three cable glands are tightly fastened.
What are the ideal environmental conditions for plants under these lights?
The rate of photosynthesis and transpiration are directly affected by temperature, humidity and air flow.
The perfect temperature and humidity for your plants are usually found between 65 °F – 95 °F (18 °C – 35 °C) 50%-70% humidity, with plenty of airflow to replenish CO2 and a PH of around 6-6.5.
You may add more calcium and magnesium than is normally needed.
How far should LED grow lights be from plants?
The following is a general guideline followed by many growers, but these guidelines are not one-size-fits-all. Dimmable bar-style LED grow lights, like the SE series, allow for closer hanging distances (e.g., 12 inches for an 800W light) by adjusting intensity. It’s crucial to tailor PPFD readings for each growth stage and plant rather than relying solely on wattage and distance charts.
| Light Type | Recommended Wattage | Distance from Top of Plant |
|---|---|---|
| Lower Wattage LEDs | Around 200 watts | 12-20 inches |
| Higher Wattage LEDs | Recommended Wattage | 36-46 inches |
| Medium Wattage Bulbs | Adjusted accordingly within the above ranges | Constantly adjusted to meet light exposure needs as plants develop through growth stages |
How do I determine the correct hanging height using PPFD?
To determine the hanging height, assess the preferred light intensity, indicated by PPFD (Photosynthetic Photon Flux Density), which varies with plant growth stages. Adjust the light’s height or use the dimmer to achieve the target PPFD for your plant’s current stage.
| Stage | PPFD Range (µmol/m²/s) |
|---|---|
| Seedling | 100 – 300 |
| Vegetative | 400 – 600 |
| Flowering | 800 – 1,000 |
Note: With additional CO2 exposure, PPFD and DLI (Daily Light Integral) scores should be higher. When you provide plants with more carbon dioxide, they can withstand stronger light and heat. Without increasing the light intensity in your space, you won’t fully benefit from the advantages of elevated CO2 levels.

Step 2: Connect the DOWN port via an RJ12 cable to the UP port of the next dimmer box (slave).
Step 3: Connect the dimmer boxes in sequence following the method described in Step 2.
Step 4: After connection, the device with the UP port in use automatically switches to slave mode.
Note: For daisy chain operation, the total power cannot exceed the rated power of your timer.

How should I care for and maintain the grow light?
SPIDER FARMER Grow Lights are passively cooled with zero moving components and designed for harsh environments and years of maintenance-free performance. Some basic care will keep your lights working at peak performance:
• Natural convection removes heat away from the heat sink. In order to properly cool itself, at least one inch of space is required between the fixture and the roof of your grow area. Failure to do so may shorten the fixture’s lifespan.
• To achieve the optimal lifespan and performance of your fixtures, routinely check for and remove excess dust, debris, and mineral build up from the heat sink and LED array. Cleaning should always be done with the fixture unplugged from its power source, using low-pressure compressed air.
• Never use a cloth to clean the diode array, otherwise it may scratch or damage the integrity of the silicon seal, or dislodge diodes entirely.
• To limit degradation, avoid touching the diodes with your hands, even in a powered off state.
• The system should only be cleaned as directed in the manual.
