What precautions should be taken when using the SONY CPA-9C?
Avoid leaving the unit where it would be subject to high temperatures, such as direct sunlight or hot air from the heater.
The SONY CPA-9C cannot be used with a cassette deck in which you insert a cassette with its tape opening facing away from you.
You cannot use the SONY CPA-9C with some car cassette decks.
How do I operate the SONY CPA-9C Car Connecting Pack?
1. Connect the plug to a phones or line out jack of a CD/MD player.
2. Turn down the volume of the car cassette deck.
3. Set the tape selector to the normal (TYPE I) position, and the DOLBY NR, REPEAT or BLANK SKIP switch to OFF if they are equipped.
4. Insert the SONY CPA-9C into the cassette deck and start playback on the car cassette deck.
5. Start CD/MD playback and adjust the volume.
What should I do if no sound is heard or if the SONY CPA-9C is ejected?
If no sound is heard or the car connecting pack is ejected, change the direction of playback on the car cassette deck.
How do I remove the SONY CPA-9C from the car cassette deck?
To remove the car connecting pack, press the eject button of the car cassette deck.
