To reduce the risk of electrocution with your SMARTBIDET SB-100R, please follow these DANGER safeguards:

2. Do not place in or drop into water or other liquid.

3. Do not reach for a product that has fallen into water. If this happens, unplug the unit immediately and then remove the item from the water.

To reduce the risk of burns, electrocution, fire, or injury to persons when using the SMARTBIDET SB-100R, follow these WARNING safeguards:

1. Close supervision is necessary when this product is used by, on, or near children or invalids.

2. Use this product only for its intended use as described in the manual. Do not use attachments not recommended by the manufacturer.

3. Never operate this product if it has a damaged cord or plug, if it is not working properly, if it has been dropped or damaged, or dropped into water. Return the product to a service center for examination and repair.

4. Keep the cord away from heated surfaces.

5. Never block the air openings of the product or place it on a soft surface, such as a bed or couch, where the air openings may be blocked. Keep the air openings free of lint, hair, and the like.

6. Do not use the unit if you are sleeping or tired to the point of being drowsy.

7. Never drop or insert any object into any opening or hose.

8. Do not use outdoors or operate where aerosol (spray) products are being used or where oxidated products are being administered.

9. Unplug this product before filling. Fill the reservoir with water. Do not overfill.

Wiring Requirement:

The SMARTBIDET SB-100R must be plugged into a regular voltage Grounded GFCI outlet (North America 120V AC, 60Hz). The rated power consumption is 660W. If only a standard two-prong outlet is available, it is the user’s responsibility to have a grounded three-prong outlet installed. Using a higher voltage is dangerous and may result in fire or other accidents.

Grounding Instructions:

This appliance must be grounded. In the event of an electrical short circuit, grounding reduces the risk of electric shock by providing an escape wire for the electric current. The product is equipped with a cord having a grounding wire with a grounding plug, which must be plugged into an outlet that is properly installed and grounded. Improper use of the grounding plug can result in a risk of electric shock.

The product must be on a separated circuit. No other appliance should share the circuit with this product, as it could cause the branch circuit fuse to blow or the circuit breaker to trip, potentially resulting in fire or property damage with continuous use.

The use of an extension cord is not recommended or advised for the SMARTBIDET SB-100R. If it is necessary to use an extension cord, you must use only a three-prong extension cord (one to one) and a three-slot built-in GFCI receptacle that will accept the plug on this product. The marked rating of the extension cord should be equal to or greater than the electrical rating of the unit (10amp). Consult a licensed electrician if you are not sure whether the unit is properly grounded.

Please adhere to the following safety warnings when using your SMARTBIDET SB-100R:

• Do not separate, disassemble, repair, or remodel the unit, or allow foreign substances inside. This can cause a fire or electric shock. Only qualified service personnel should repair this product.

• Do not splash water on the main unit or power cord, and do not use it in areas of high humidity. This can cause a fire or electric shock.

• The product must be grounded before use and plugged into an AC 120V/60Hz power outlet. Failure to ground it can cause fire or electric shock.

• Do not touch the power cord with wet hands. Plugging or unplugging with wet hands can cause electric shock or bodily injury.

• Do not supply electrical power to the product until it is installed on the toilet and the water supply hose is properly connected. This can cause a fire or damage the product.

• Do not connect several power cords into one outlet. This unit uses a 120V power outlet. Using multiple cords can cause overheating or fire hazards. Plug the power cord properly into the power outlet.

• Please use public water supply only. Do not connect the unit to industrial water or greywater, as this can cause skin infections or urinary tract infections and also damage the unit.

• Keep the cord away from cigarettes or flammable substances to prevent electric shock or bodily injury.

Please observe the following cautions for safe and proper use of your SMARTBIDET SB-100R:

• For safety, unplug the power cord when cleaning the product or detaching it from the toilet bowl to avoid electric shock.

• Do not use a damaged power cord or a loosely fitted electric outlet, as this can cause an electric shock.

• Children, elderly, patients, and those who are physically limited should use the low-temperature setting for the seat, water, and dryer. After using the unit at high temperatures, the temperature should be readjusted to ‘low’ for these users.

• When cleaning, do not use cleaning detergents like oxidized products, sink products, toilet cleaning products, or any type of stain removers on the external surface. Do not spray air fresheners onto the seat. This can change the color or cause problems with the unit’s functioning.

• Do not stand on top of the seat cover, seat, or main body unit. This can damage or break the unit.

• Do not slam or close the seat or seat cover forcefully.

• Do not pull the connecting hose forcefully or bend it.

• Do not use a broken product. As it is a bathroom appliance, do not use it for other purposes.

• Prevent children from putting foreign substances or their hands into the dryer outlet or onto the nozzle.

• Never put the product in water.

• When cleaning or not using the product for a long period, be sure to unplug the unit.

• A guardian should pay extra attention when children, the elderly, or those who cannot independently sit or stand are using the seat to prevent them from falling.

The remote control for the SMARTBIDET SB-100R has several functions. For best results, point the remote to the right side of the toilet seat. Note: If the remote control is not used for 10 seconds, the LED light will turn off automatically to protect its battery life.

• Always sit on the middle of the SMARTBIDET SB-100R and do not sit on the side of the seat. The basic functions will not work if the skin sensor is not active.

• When operating POSTERIOR/FEMININE/TURBO, if the water temperature is low and cold water comes out after using it for a period of time, pause and wait for 3 minutes for warm water to be provided.

• Sitting on the heated seat for an extended period of time can potentially cause low-degree burning. Special precautions should be taken for children, those who cannot adjust the temperature, and those who have sensitive skin.

Before starting, remember the SMARTBIDET SB-100R requires a 120V outlet. Do not plug in the electrical cord prior to completing the installation.

Step 1: Shut water supply.

Turn the water supply valve to the right to shut it off.

Step 2: Disconnect hose and connect T-valve.

Disconnect the existing water supply hose from the water tank. Connect the supplied T-valve to the water tank’s inlet.

Step 3: Connect water supply hose.

Connect the toilet’s original water supply hose to the assembled T-valve.

Step 4: Remove existing seat and lid.

Release the bolts on both sides of your existing toilet seat to remove it and the lid. Store the removed parts in a safe place.

Step 5: Prepare the base plate.

Place the mounting bolts into the bolt cases and align them with the top of the base plate. Insert the bolts with bolt cases onto the base plate.

Step 6: Attach the main unit to the base plate.

Hold the bolts and gently slide the base plate into the bottom of the SMARTBIDET SB-100R unit until it clicks into place. Do not use force.

Step 7: Mount the unit on the toilet.

Once the base plate is attached to the unit, align the unit with the toilet fixture, facing front. Insert the mounting bolts into the toilet mounting holes. Secure with cone packing and nuts, but do not over-tighten the nuts.

Step 8: Connect the bidet’s flexible tube.

Connect the flexible tube from the side of the T-valve to the SMARTBIDET SB-100R unit. Turn the water supply valve to the left to allow water to flow. Customers should use the new hose set provided with the product.

Step 1. Check for leaks.

Turn the water supply valve to the left and check if there is any water leaking from the hose connections.

Step 2. Connect to power.

Connect the power cord to a 120V electric outlet.

Step 3. Fill the water tank.

Press the Posterior or Feminine button on the simple control panel. Water will begin to enter the heated water tank. A low beeping sound will occur when the tank is full, indicating preparation is complete.

Step 4. Perform a function check.

To check if the functions work, you must touch the seat or sit on it to activate the skin sensor. Be aware that water will come out. The SMARTBIDET SB-100R can only operate when the user is sitting on the electronic toilet seat.

Please follow these steps to move or separate the SMARTBIDET SB-100R unit from the toilet for cleaning purposes:

Step 1. Disconnect power.

Disconnect the power plug from the outlet.

Step 2. Shut off water.

Shut the water supply valve.

Step 3. Drain the water tank.

Push and hold the drain button on the left side of the unit to completely drain the water from the water tank.

Step 4. Disconnect the hose.

Loosen the nut on the hose that is connected to the unit and separate it.

Step 5. Detach the unit.

While pushing the unit separation button, push the electronic toilet seat slightly toward the front, and the body unit will begin to slide out. Lightly pull the unit toward the front to detach it from the toilet. Caution: Do not turn the seat upside-down as this can cause damage to the unit and a fire hazard.

For moving:

Step 6. Disconnect the T-valve.

Disconnect the T-valve from the water tank.

Step 7. Reconnect the original water hose.

Connect the original water hose back to the toilet and turn the water valve to the left to open it. Check for any leaking from the water hose connection.

Step 8. Re-install the original seat.

Re-install the original toilet seat and lid that was separated during the initial installation.

1. Sit on the seat: Sit on the toilet seat so that the skin sensor can be fully activated. The seat will not operate unless the sensor detects bodily contact.

2. Press a wash button: Press the POSTERIOR, FEMININE, or TURBO button. The selected function can be used for up to 1 minute.

3. Stop the wash: To stop the wash at any time, press the STOP button.

Warning: The wash functions will automatically stop after one minute. If you want to continue using it, press the desired wash button again.

Water Pressure Adjustment:

• Press the + (high) or – (low) buttons under WATER PRESSURE on the remote to adjust the pressure. There are 5 levels.

• As the water pressure increases, the LED lights will illuminate to show the current level.

• It is recommended that the water filter (strainer) is cleaned periodically, as water pressure can be weakened if it becomes clogged.

Water Temperature Adjustment:

• When pressing the WATER button on the remote, the display light will change to allow adjustment of the water temperature. There are 4 levels (Room temperature, Low, Normal, High).

• Average maintenance time for warm water: This product can maintain the warm water level for up to 50 seconds during a 1-minute wash session.

Seat Temperature Adjustment:

• When pressing the SEAT button on the remote, the display light will change to allow adjustment of the seat temperature. There are 4 levels (Room temperature, Low, Normal, High).

Nozzle Position Adjustment:

• When using the wash functions, use the ▲ (front) and ▼ (back) buttons under NOZZLE POSITION on the remote to adjust the nozzle to fit your body. There are 5 levels of adjustment.

• The LED lights will indicate the current position of the nozzle.

Oscillate Function:

• After pressing one of the wash functions (FEMININE / POSTERIOR / TURBO), press the OSCILLATE button.

• This will activate the oscillating nozzle, which moves back and forth to cover a wider area for washing.

• To stop the oscillation, press the STOP button.

The SMARTBIDET SB-100R features an automatic self-cleaning nozzle. Before and after each use of the FEMININE, POSTERIOR, or TURBO wash functions, the nozzle will automatically clean itself with water.

Using Energy Saver Mode:

• To turn on Energy Saver mode, press the ENERGY SAVER button on the remote. The energy saver light on the electronic toilet seat will turn on.

• In this mode, the SMARTBIDET SB-100R automatically maintains a water and seat temperature of 89.6 F°.

• To turn off the energy saver function, press the ENERGY SAVER button again, and the display light will turn off.

Note: During a power outage, the water or seat heating temperature could appear to be lower than the actual temperature setting.

Other Energy Saving Tips:

• Keep the seat cover closed when not in use to prevent heat from being lost.

• Keep the temperature set to low.

• Unplug the power cord if you do not plan to use it for a long period of time.

1. Mount the Holder:

• Select a convenient spot near the toilet to attach the remote control holder. Make sure the spot will not be exposed to water and is clean and dry.

• Remove the film from the double-sided tape on the back of the remote control holder and place the holder in the selected area.

2. Insert Batteries:

• On the remote control, insert the two (2) provided 1.5V AAA batteries, ensuring that the poles on the batteries correspond to the directions on the remote control.

Battery Cautions:

• Always purchase the correct size and grade of battery most suitable for the intended use.

• Clean the battery contacts and also those of the device prior to battery installation.

• Remove batteries from equipment which is not to be used for an extended period of time.

• Remove and replace all batteries together.

Cleaning the Body Unit:

• Do not use any bathroom cleaning detergents such as benzene acid chemical detergent on the seat exterior. Using chemical products or rough scrubbers can damage or change the color of the plastic surface.

• A recommended cleaning solution is a mixture of baking powder and water, or vinegar and water.

• Do not spray water directly or use a shower hose on the main body unit, as this can cause fire or damage.

• When cleaning, the power cord must be unplugged. Make sure water does not contact the cord and/or outlet.

• After cleaning, use a soft cloth to dry the unit.

Cleaning the Nozzle:

• Perform this action without sitting on the toilet seat.

• On the Simple control panel, press and hold the ‘POSTERIOR’ button for three (3) seconds. The water nozzle will extend.

• To clean, use a soft-bristled brush (like a toothbrush) or a soft cloth.

• When finished, press and hold the ‘STOP’ button. The nozzle will retract to its original position and perform its self-cleaning function.

Cleaning the Water Filter (Strainer):

1. Close the water shut-off valve.

2. Flush the toilet to empty the water reservoir.

3. Unscrew the water hose nut from the bidet unit.

4. Remove the strainer and clean it with a small brush or water.

5. Re-insert the strainer and re-screw the water hose nut.

6. Open the water shut-off valve.

Step 1. Disconnect the power plug.

Step 2. Shut the water supply valve by turning it to the right.

Step 3. Press the drain lever until the water is completely drained from the water tank.

Step 4. To re-supply water after draining, open the water shut-off valve.

Caution: Do not drink the drained water. Do not insert your finger into the drain hole. Before draining, unplug the power cord and wait 30 minutes until the unit has cooled down.

Step 1. Check if the power cord is plugged in securely.

Step 2. Adjust the WATER button to “low” to prevent water from freezing inside the unit.

Step 3. If the product is not used for a long period of time, especially in cold regions or environments, please disconnect the power cord and drain the water from the internal unit.

Step 4. Please do not keep this product outdoors during the winter as the cold temperature may damage the product.

Please check the following aspects before asking for help with your SMARTBIDET SB-100R.

If the water does not spray:

• Check if the water tank is filled. (If filled, water should come out when you press the unit separation button).

• See if the water valve is closed.

• Check if the water filter (strainer) is clogged. If it is, clean it according to the manual instructions.

If the unit is not operating:

• Check if the power cord is connected.

• See if the power is turned off from the main unit. (If power is on, the red light on the black panel should be on).

• Ensure you are correctly sitting on the seat so that the skin sensor switch can function properly. The sensor must touch your skin.

If water is leaking:

• Check that the plumbing is correctly connected. If water is leaking from the main unit, shut off the water valve first and disconnect the main unit. Then, contact service personnel.

If water pressure is weak:

• Check if the water pressure is set at “low”.

• Check if the water filter (strainer) is clogged.

If the seat or water is not warm:

• See if the water temperature is set to “low”.

• Check if the energy saver mode is on. If it is on, seat and water temperature are maintained at 89.6 °F.

If the nozzle doesn’t come out:

• See if the skin sensor on the seat is touching your skin.

If the water is cold or warm (not hot):

• Adjust the temperature to mid or high.

• If someone has already used the wash function, wait about 3 minutes to use it.

• Sit on the seat for approximately 3 minutes and then use it.

If the body unit shakes:

• Tighten the mounting bolts (do not over-tighten).
