To pair the remote control with your SJCAM SJ10 camera, first power on the camera. Then, slide the screen down and click the remote control icon to start pairing. Following the operating instructions for the remote (typically clicking two buttons at the same time), you can complete the pairing process with the camera.

To access the ports on your SJCAM SJ10, gently press the clip on the left side of the camera and push it down. This will open the side cover, revealing the slots for the USB-C cable and MicroSD card.

The SJCAM SJ10 requires a MicroSD card with a minimum U3 speed class rating to support 1080p and 2K video recording.

Step 1. Gently press the clip at the bottom of the SJCAM SJ10 camera and push it toward the side.

Step 2. Open the bottom cover.

Step 3. Remove the old battery and replace it with a new one.

Step 1. To turn the SJCAM SJ10 on, hold down the shutter button until the SJCAM logo appears on the screen, then release it.

Step 2. Select your desired mode on the touchscreen.

Step 3. Press the shutter button to take photos or to start and stop video recording.

To mount your SJCAM SJ10 on a helmet, use the special curved-mount found in the box. You can mount the camera onto any surface that is not porous.

Step 1. Enable Wi-Fi on the SJCAM SJ10 camera by swiping down on the Main Screen, then tap the Wi-Fi icon.

Step 2. Start the SJCAM Zone APP on your phone and register or log in.

Step 3. On your phone, go to Wi-Fi settings and connect to the camera’s Wi-Fi network. The password is: 12345678.

Step 4. Return to the SJCAM Zone App and press the “Connect to Camera” button.

The SJCAM SJ10 offers several shooting modes:

Video: For standard video recording.

Videolapse: Captures timelapse photographs and stitches them together in-camera to output a video file.

Slow Motion: For recording video in slow motion.

Photo: For taking still photographs.

PhotoLapse: Captures a series of still photos for creating timelapse snapshots.

Burst Mode: Takes multiple snapshots in fast succession.

Video/photo: A timelapse mode that takes photos and stitches them together.

Car Mode: Automatically begins recording once the engine is started, designed for use as a dashcam.

The menu options on the SJCAM SJ10 will vary depending on the mode you are in. All available options for a particular mode will appear when you scroll down. You can also switch to a Text-Mode Menu by going to General Settings, then selecting “Classic” in the user interface options.

1. The SJCAM SJ10 is a high-precision product. Do not drop it.

2. Do not expose the unit to strong magnetic fields, such as electric motors, magnets, and machinery that use strong radio waves.

3. Never leave the unit in high-temperature areas. Electronics and optics can be damaged under prolonged exposure to heat.

4. Although the SJCAM SJ10 is waterproof without an additional housing, it is important to check that all seals are intact and all doors are properly closed before submerging the camera in water.

5. Always store extra batteries in a compartment away from any sharp metals and moisture.

6. Avoid extended periods of battery charging. Keep it away from children and pets while charging to avoid accidents.

7. Do not dispose of the camera or its battery in a garbage bin; find the nearest recycling facility for it.
