What is the important note regarding the use of driver units and ring gear stop rings for SG-4R31 / SG-4C30 models?
There are two different types of driver unit and the ring gear stop ring: type A and type B. Be sure to use them in the combinations indicated.
How should Type A and Type B components be combined with SG-4R31 / SG-4C30 driver units based on the indicated combinations?
The correct combination of components depends on the groove depth for the ring gear stop ring on the driver unit (SG-4R31 or SG-4C30). There are Type A and Type B component sets, each corresponding to a specific groove depth:

Instructions for combinations:
If your SG-4R31 or SG-4C30 driver unit has a 2.2 mm groove for the ring gear stop ring, you must use the Type A set of components. This includes installing both the Type A ring gear stop ring (circlip) and the ring gear stop washer.
If your SG-4R31 or SG-4C30 driver unit has a 1.0 mm groove for the ring gear stop ring, you must use the Type B ring gear stop ring. This is a specific wire-form ring used without an additional washer.
It is essential to use these components in the correct combinations as indicated to ensure proper function.
