Please adhere to the following safety instructions when using the SENCOR SDA 512 antenna:

• The lightning flash with arrowhead symbol is intended to alert the user to the presence of uninsulated “dangerous voltage” within the unit’s cabinet that may be of sufficient magnitude to constitute a risk of electric shock.

• The exclamation point symbol is intended to alert the user to the presence of important operating and maintenance (servicing) instructions in the manual.

• The apparatus shall not be exposed to dripping or splashing, and no objects filled with liquids, such as vases, shall be placed on the apparatus.

• The appliance coupler is used as the disconnect device and shall remain readily operable.

• Always remember to remove the plug from the mains socket before disconnecting the power lead from the back of the unit.

• Do not place naked flame sources, such as candles, on the top.

• To prevent fire or electric shock, do not expose the unit to rain or moisture. Never attempt to open the cabinet. Refer servicing to qualified service personnel.

• This product incorporates double insulation between hazardous mains voltage and user-accessible parts. When servicing, use only identical replacement parts.

The SENCOR SDA 512 has the following features and specifications:

• Do not use the SENCOR SDA 512 during a thunderstorm and turn off the power.

• If you do not use the device or you are not using it for a long time, turn off the device and unplug it from the power outlet.

• If reception is not sufficient enough using this device, relocate the antenna to a suitable place.

Follow these steps to install the SENCOR SDA 512 antenna:

1. Mounting Bracket Installation:

Attach the mounting bracket to the antenna using the two screws and tighten firmly.

2. Antenna Mast Installation:

Loosen the wing nuts on the mounting bracket, put the mast between the bracket, and then tighten the wing nuts securely.

3. F-Connector Installation on Coaxial Cable:

(1) Thread the coaxial cable through the waterproof cap.

(2) Snip off 10mm from the cover of the coaxial cable.

(3) Fold back the braid and snip off 8mm of the foaming core of the coaxial cable.

(4) Thread the coaxial cable through the F-type male plug.

(5) Now finish the installation of the connector.

4. Connect Cable to Antenna:

Connect the F-type male plug (on the cable) to the F-type female plug of the antenna and then cover the connection with the waterproof cap.

There are three main ways to connect your SENCOR SDA 512 antenna:

Connection with a Set-Top Box and separate Power Supply:

Connect the signal cable from the antenna to the signal input jack of the power supply unit. Connect the power supply’s output jack to the digital receiver (set-top box). Plug the power adaptor into the power supply unit and then into a power socket. Finally, connect the digital receiver to your TV.

Connection directly to a TV with a separate Power Supply:

Connect the signal cable from the antenna to the signal input jack of the power supply unit. Connect the power supply’s output jack to the TV’s antenna input. Plug the power adaptor into the power supply unit and then into a power socket.

Connection to a Set-Top Box that provides power:

Connect the signal cable from the antenna directly to the ANT IN jack of the set-top box. To power the antenna, you will need to activate the “external antenna power” function through the set-top box’s menu. Then, connect the output from the set-top box to your TV.

Packaging:

Dispose of packaging material at a public waste disposal site.

Used Electrical and Electronic Appliance:

The symbol of a crossed-out wheeled bin on the SENCOR SDA 512 indicates that it should not be treated as household waste.
