Press and hold the Side button for a few seconds to turn on the SAMSUNG SM-A042F-DS.

To turn off the SAMSUNG SM-A042F-DS, press and hold the Side button. Alternatively, open the notification panel, swipe downwards, and then tap the power icon. Finally, tap Power off.

If your SAMSUNG SM-A042F-DS is frozen and unresponsive, press and hold the Side button and the Volume Down button simultaneously for more than 7 seconds to restart it.

Connect the USB cable to the USB power adaptor and plug the cable into the SAMSUNG SM-A042F-DS multipurpose jack. After fully charging, disconnect the charger from the device.

Before removing the SD card, you must first unmount it for safe removal.

Step 3. Tap the More options icon and then tap Unmount.

To make a call, touch and hold a speed dial number on the keypad. For speed dial numbers 10 and up, tap the first digit(s) of the number, and then touch and hold the last digit.

Open the Phone app, tap More options, tap Settings, then tap Block numbers, and select contacts or phone numbers to save in the blocked numbers list.
