1. Open the “DriverAssistant_v5.0” folder from the extracted files.

2. Double-click “DriverInstall.exe” to run it.

3. Click “Install” to continue. The process will take a few seconds to finish.

C. Flash System Image File

1. Ensure the antennas are properly connected to the RUNCAM WIFILINK-RX and that any TF card has been removed to prevent data loss.

2. Open the “RKDevTool_Release_v2.96” folder and double-click “RKDevTool.exe” to launch the flashing tool.

3. The tool will initially display “No devices found”.

4. Use a SIM eject tool or a small screwdriver to press and hold the flash button on the RUNCAM WIFILINK-RX. While holding it, connect the DC power. Release the button after 2 seconds.

5. Connect the RUNCAM WIFILINK-RX to your computer with a Type-C data cable. The flashing tool should now display “One MASKROM device found”.

6. In the flashing tool, click the button in the “Path” column for the “Loader” row. Select the “rk356x_spl_loader_ddr1056_v1.10.111.bin” file from the extracted Driver & Tool folder and click “Open”.

7. Click the button in the “Path” column for the “Image” row. Select the system image file (e.g., .img) you obtained earlier and click “Open”.

8. Make sure the “Write by Address” checkbox is ticked.

9. Click the “Run” button to execute the flashing process. The tool will start writing the firmware to the RUNCAM WIFILINK-RX.

10. The process takes about two minutes. Once it is finished, the tool will show “Download image OK”.
