What safety precautions should be taken before installing the ROBUS REXS092-23?
Please read the instructions before commencing installation and retain them for future reference. Electrical products can cause death or injury, or damage to property. The installation must be carried out by a qualified electrician.
Note: The luminaire must be disconnected before carrying out any insulation resistance testing.
What type of surface is the ROBUS REXS092-23 suitable for mounting on?
The ROBUS REXS092-23 is suitable for mounting on a normally flammable surface.
How do I install the ROBUS REXS092-23?
1. Ensure mains supply is switched off before commencing work.
2. Choose the desired location to mount the extrusion, ensuring that the cables are long enough to reach the start of the strip.
3. Remove the diffuser. Place the LED strip inside the aluminium channel and remove the self-adhesive film, press the strip into the channel, and ensure it is secure. Attach the diffuser and end cap, ensuring they are correctly attached.
4. Mark appropriate fixing points for the brackets on the surface. Ensure that the hole does not impinge on joists, pipe work, cables, or other building services.
5. Attach the brackets to the surface using the screws provided.
6. Attach the unit to the brackets.
How should I dispose of the ROBUS REXS092-23 at the end of its life?
1. Please note the requirement to dispose of Waste Electrical & Electronic Equipment separately from household waste (WEEE marked with a crossed-out wheelie bin symbol).
2. Please consider your role in contributing to re-use and recycling by returning this product at the end of its life to a collection centre for waste electrical equipment, a Civic Amenity site, or to a retail outlet from which you are purchasing a replacement.
