In the Audio section of the Settings menu:

• If using an HDMI compatible multi-channel AV receiver, set the Digital Audio Connector to HDMI (HD Audio On).

• If your amp/preamp is not HDMI compatible, set it to S/PDIF (HD audio off).

• It is recommended to set the Digital audio output mode to Auto. You can also select PCM for formats your receiver cannot decode, or Bitstream to send the raw audio stream to your receiver.

• For lossless music, you can set the Maximum digital output sample rate to 192kHz, but be careful as this may cause crackling if your equipment is incompatible. If this occurs, select the Auto option.

HDR > SDR Conversion:

To get the best SDR performance on HDR content, go to Settings > Video > HDR and Dolby Vision Settings and select the Dolby VS10 engine for HDR, DV video option. If the picture looks washed out, go to Settings > System > Video > HDMI Range Mode > Full Range.

File Organization:

Movies: On your NAS or HDD, create a folder named `MOVIES`. Place all your movie files in it. Name the files with the movie title (e.g., `Metropolis.mkv`).

TV Shows: Create a folder named `TV SHOWS`. Inside, create a subfolder for each TV show. Name your episode files as “TVShowName s01e01” (e.g., season 1, episode 1). Special episodes should be named “s00e01”.

Connection Setup:

1. Start your R VOLUTION PLAYERONE and click the VIDEO button on the main page.
