The manufacture date is encoded in the unit’s serial number. The first letter represents the month and the second letter represents the year according to the matrix below. The service bench installation date (used to determine warranty coverage) is considered to be the end of the following month.

How do I navigate the display menu options?
The unit displays “WARMING UP” for 5 seconds, then “READY” after 10 minutes.
To Check/Set Platen Duty Cycles:
1. From the READY screen, press and hold the MENU button for 3 seconds.
2. The display shows SET BAGEL PLATEN DUTY.
3. Press OK to view/change the MAIN BAGEL DUTY % (default 68%). Press Left/Right scroll buttons to change, then OK to confirm.
4. Press the Right scroll button to navigate to SET MUFFIN PLATEN DUTY. Press OK to view/change MAIN MUFFIN DUTY %.
5. Press the Right scroll button to navigate to SET SPECIAL PLATEN DUTY. Press OK to view/change MAIN SPECIAL DUTY %.
To Check/Set Temperature Units (F/C):
1. From the READY screen, press and hold the MENU button for 5 seconds to enter Programming Mode (displays version).
2. Press the Right scroll button until SELECT F/C is displayed.

4. On the right side, reinstall all insulation that covers the Calrod connections.

How do I remove the Power Cord?

3. Remove (3) connections from the power cord (likely at a terminal block) by removing the three screws shown.
4. Unscrew the back of the strain relief bushing to release the power cord. Remove the power cord from the unit completely.

1. Insert the new power cord through the strain relief opening. Reinstall the power cord onto the unit by tightening the strain relief bushing.
