What are the permissible noise level exposures when using the POWERWERKS PWRS1?
Exposure to extremely high noise levels may cause a permanent hearing loss. The U.S. Government’s Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) has specified the following permissible noise level exposures:

According to OSHA, any exposure in the above permissible limits could result in some hearing loss. Earplugs or protectors in the ear canal or over the ears must be worn when operating this amplification system to prevent a permanent hearing loss.
What are the general safety instructions for the POWERWERKS PWRS1?
1. Read all safety and operating instructions before using this product.
2. All safety and operating instructions should be kept for future reference.
3. Read and understand all warnings listed on the operating instructions.
4. Follow all operating instructions to operate this product.
5. This product should not be used near water, i.e. Bathtub, sink, swimming pool, wet basement, etc.
6. Only use dry cloth to clean this product.
7. Do not block any ventilation openings. It should not be placed flat against a wall or placed in a built-in enclosure that will impede the flow of cooling air.
8. Do not install this product near any heat sources; such as, radiators, heat registers, stove or other apparatus (including heat producing amplifiers) that produce heat.
9. Do not defeat the safety purpose of the polarized or grounding-type plug.
10. Protect the power cord from being walked on or pinched, particularly at Plugs, convenience receptacles and the point where they exit from the apparatus. Do not break the ground pin of the power supply cord.
11. Only use attachments specified by the manufacturer.
12. Use only with the cart, stand, tripod, bracket, or table specified by the manufacturer or sold with the apparatus. When a cart is used, use caution when moving cart/apparatus combination to avoid injury from tip-over.
13. Unplug this apparatus during lightning storms or when unused for long periods of time.
14. Care should be taken so that objects do not fall and liquids are not spilled into the unit through the ventilation ports or any other openings.
15. Refer all servicing to qualified service personnel. Servicing is required when the apparatus has been damaged in any way.
16. WARNING: To reduce the risk of fire or electric shock, do not expose this apparatus to rain or moisture.

1. CH1 / CH2 LINE IN / MIC IN Mix jack: Combination input jack for channels 1 and 2.
2. LINE IN/MIC IN Switch of CH1 / CH2: Selects between line level and microphone level input for the corresponding channel.
3. Volume control of CH1 / CH2: Adjusts the volume for the corresponding channel.
4. Effect volume control of CH1 / CH2: Adjusts the reverb effect level for the corresponding channel.
5. Bass control of CH1 / CH2: Adjusts the low frequencies for the corresponding channel.
6. Treble control of CH1 / CH2: Adjusts the high frequencies for the corresponding channel.
7. DSP modes elector switch and mode indicator: Selects between four DSP EQ settings (MAIN, MONITOR, DJ, SPEECH).

How do I set up and operate the POWERWERKS PWRS1?
1. Prior to switching on, turn volume down to minimum.
2. Connect the audio source to the appropriate Input socket.
3. Connect to the mains supply.
4. Switch on the audio source, followed by the active speaker.
5. Set the volume with the applicable control.
6. Adjust the bass + treble.
How do I pair a Bluetooth device with the POWERWERKS PWRS1?
1. Press and hold the PAIR button until light flashes quickly.
2. Pairing connection can now be made via Bluetooth® on devices such as smart phones and tablets.
3. To temporarily bypass Bluetooth® connection press PAIR button once until light flashes slowly. Press again once to reconnect.
4. To exit/disable Bluetooth® press and hold PAIR button until light turns off.
What are the safety reminders for using the POWERWERKS PWRS1?
• Do not overload the box to avoid damage to the speakers.
• Do not place an open fire (candles, etc.) on top or next to the box – FIRE HAZARD.
• For indoor use only. If the box is used outdoors, you need to make sure that no humidity can enter the box.
• When not in use, unplug the unit from the mains.
• Unplug the unit from the mains prior to checking or replacing the fuse.
• Make sure that the box is placed on a stable, strong surface.
• Do not place liquids on the box and protect it against humidity.
• Only use suitable means of transportation to move the box. Do not attempt to lift without support.
• Always unplug the unit during a thunderstorm or when it is not in use.
• If the unit has not been used for a long period of time, condensation can occur inside the housing. Please let the unit reach room temperature prior to use.
• Never try to repair the unit yourself. It does not contain any user serviceable parts.
• Run the mains lead in such a way that nobody can trip over it and nothing can be put in it.
• Set the unit to the lowest volume prior to switching it on.
• Keep the unit out of the reach of children.
