Display Refreshing:

Your TV performs a display clean-up process while in standby to protect the screen. Always follow the on-screen messages that prompt this process. Repeatedly postponing it can result in image retention and may void your warranty. To allow the TV to perform refreshing properly:

• For the ‘Normal refreshing’ process to occur automatically, always use the remote control to switch off the TV and keep it plugged into a power source.

• When a message for ‘deep refreshing’ appears, follow the on-screen instructions. This can also be activated manually via (Home) > Settings > Screen > OLED screen settings > Clear residual image. This process should only be done when residual image is visible after 8 hours of standby.

• Do not touch or apply pressure to the TV screen during the refreshing process.

Special Care for OLED TV:

• Avoid displaying any still image continuously for more than 10 minutes.

• Use ECO, HDR Home Cinema, or Dolby Vision Dark as your picture style for normal viewing.

• Use an OLED Contrast setting of 50 or below when gaming or watching programs with static logos or clocks.
