To set up the PETSAFE PFD00-15426, follow these steps:
Step 1. Insert four (4) AA cell alkaline batteries into the battery compartment located on the bottom of the feeder.
Step 2. Lift the brand cover on the top of the feeder.
Step 3. Open both food tray lids by pressing down on the center of the PetSafe button for 5 seconds.
Step 4. Fill each tray with dry pet food and manually close each lid. Do not overfill.
How do I program feedings for the PETSAFE PFD00-15426?
To program meal times on your PETSAFE PFD00-15426, use the following procedure:
Step 1. Observe the arrows on the LCD display, which indicate the specific lid being programmed (left or right).
Step 2. Set the lids to open between 1 to 99 hours from the time of programming. Note that minutes cannot be programmed. For example, if you are programming at 10 AM and want the first lid to open at 2 PM, set it to 4H. If you want the second lid to open at 10 PM, set it to 12H.
Step 3. Use the left or right set of + and – buttons to set how many hours from the current time each lid should open.
Step 4. The system will automatically save your selections and begin the countdown. Once the countdown begins, the LCD display will indicate how many hours (H) and/or minutes (M) remain until meal time.
