Fits 10″ – 22″ LCD screens.

Arm extends up to 6″ from wall or folds flat to save space.

Supports screens with VESA® 75 or 100 mounting holes.

Features ball joint at the screen for additional side-to-side swivel and upward and downward tilt.

What is the Maximum UL Load Capacity?

The Maximum UL Load Capacity is 25 lb (11.3 kg). Never exceed this capacity.

What important notes and warnings should I be aware of before installation?

Read the entire instruction sheet before you start installation and assembly.

The screen must be attached to the mount to enable tilting.

Do not begin to install your Peerless product until you have read and understood the instructions and warnings contained in the Installation Sheet. If you have any questions regarding any of the instructions or warnings, call Peerless customer service at 1-800-729-0307.

This product should only be installed by someone of good mechanical aptitude, has experience with basic building construction, and fully understands these instructions.

Make sure that the supporting surface will safely support the combined load of the equipment and all attached hardware and components.

Never mount this product to a metal stud wall construction unless the stud can be verified to be constructed of 25 gauge steel minimum, the drywall is 1/2″ thick minimum and you obtain and use the Peerless accessory kit for metal studs (ACC 908, not evaluated by UL).

If mounting to wood wall stud wall construction, make sure that mounting screws are anchored into the center of the studs. Use of an “edge to edge” stud finder is highly recommended.

Always use an assistant or mechanical lifting equipment to safely lift and position equipment.

Tighten screws firmly, but do not overtighten. Overtightening can damage the items, greatly reducing their holding power. See suggested torque values where applicable within these instructions.

If screws don’t get three complete turns in the screen inserts or if screws bottom out and bracket is still not tightly secured, damage may occur to screen or product may fail.

How do I install the mount on a wood stud wall?

Warning: Make sure that the supporting surface will safely support the combined load of the equipment and all attached hardware and components.

1. Using a stud finder, locate and mark the edges of the wood stud. Use of an edge-to-edge stud finder is highly recommended.

2. Use a level to draw a vertical line down the center of the stud.

3. Use the wall plate of the wall arm assembly (A) as a template to mark the center of the mounting holes along the vertical line.

4. Drill two 5/32″ (4 mm) diameter holes, 2.5″ (65 mm) deep, at the marked locations.

5. Attach the wall arm assembly (A) to the wall using two #14 x 2.5″ flat head wood screws (D).

Warning:

Tighten screws so that the wall plate is firmly attached, but do not overtighten. Overtightening can damage the screws, greatly reducing their holding power.

Never tighten in excess of 80 in.lb (9 N.M.).

Make sure that mounting screws are anchored into the center of the studs. The use of an “edge to edge” stud finder is highly recommended.

6. Skip to the screen attachment steps.

How do I install the mount on solid concrete or cinder block?

Warnings:

When installing on cinder block, verify that you have a minimum of 1-3/8″ of actual concrete thickness in the hole to be used for the concrete anchors. Do not drill into mortar joints! Be sure to mount in a solid part of the block, generally 1″ minimum from the side of the block. Cinder block must meet ASTM C-90 specifications. It is suggested that a standard electric drill on slow setting is used to drill the hole instead of a hammer drill to avoid breaking out the back of the hole when entering a void or cavity.

Concrete must be 2000 psi density minimum. Lighter density concrete may not hold the concrete anchor.

Make sure that the supporting surface will safely support the combined load of the equipment and all attached hardware and components.

Concrete anchors are not intended for attachment to concrete wall covered with a layer of plaster, drywall, or other finishing material. If mounting to concrete wall covered with plaster/drywall is unavoidable, plaster/drywall (up to 5/8″ thick) must be counterbored as shown in the PDF diagram. Be sure concrete anchors do not pull away from concrete when tightening screws. If plaster/drywall is thicker than 5/8″, custom fasteners must be supplied by the installer.

Installation Steps:

1. Level the wall arm assembly (A) and use the wall plate as a template to mark the center of the mounting holes.

2. Drill two 1/4″ (6 mm) diameter holes to a minimum depth of 2″ (51 mm) at the marked locations.

3. Insert the Alligator® anchors (E) into the holes flush with the wall (see fig 1.3 in PDF).

4. Place the wall arm assembly (A) over the anchors (E) and secure it with two #14 x 2.5″ wood screws (D) (see fig 1.4 and 1.6 in PDF).

5. Make sure the wall arm is level, and tighten all fasteners (see fig 1.5 in PDF).

Warning: Tighten screws so that the wall plate is firmly attached, but do not overtighten. Overtightening can damage the screws, greatly reducing their holding power. Never tighten in excess of 80 in.lb (9 N.M.).

6. Proceed to the screen attachment steps.

How do I attach the screen to the mount adapter plate?

Note: To add security, order ACC 918 for security screws and refer to its instruction sheet.

1. Determine the VESA mounting pattern on your screen (75mm or 100mm).

2. Insert two M4 x 12 mm screws (F) into the top two VESA mounting holes of your screen, leaving approximately 1/4″ of exposed thread.

*Note: If the screen’s mounting hole pattern is recessed (in a pocket), use two M4 x 20 mm screws (G) with two retaining spacers (H) placed between the adapter plate and the screen for the top two holes instead.

3. Hook the exposed screw threads onto the corresponding upper keyhole slots on the adapter plate of the wall arm assembly (A) (see fig 2.1 and 2.2 in PDF).

4. Insert one M4 screw (F or G, depending on whether spacers were needed) through the appropriate bottom hole of the adapter plate and into the corresponding bottom VESA hole on the screen (see fig 3.1 in PDF).

5. Insert the fourth M4 screw (F or G) into the remaining bottom hole.

6. Tighten all four screws securely.

Warning: If screws don’t get three complete turns in the screen inserts or if screws bottom out and bracket is still not tightly secured, damage may occur to screen or product may fail.

How do I manage the cords?

1. Route cords through the center of a cord management clip (B).

2. Attach the cord management clip (B) to the adapter plate using one of the bottom M4 screws (F or G) that is already securing the screen (see detail 1 in PDF).

3. Ensure all four screen mounting screws are tight.

Note: An additional cord management clip (B) is included for extra cords. If needed, remove the opposite bottom screen mounting screw, route the additional cords through the second clip, and reattach the screw through the clip into the adapter plate and screen.

How can I adjust the tilt and roll tension? (Optional)

NOTE: Adjustment points (socket screws) are factory torqued for optimal performance. This factory torque setting is recommended to prevent the screen from slipping over time. Adjusting these may affect the optimal torque value.

Warning: Do not remove the adjustment screw or loosen it until it is no longer engaged with the mount. Doing so may cause the screen to fall.

1. To access the tilt adjustment screw, remove the snap caps covering it. Insert a flat head screwdriver into the slot on the side and pry the cap away from the tilt mechanism (see detail 2 in PDF).

2. To adjust tilt tension: Use the 5 mm allen wrench (I) to turn the socket screw. Tighten (clockwise) or loosen (counter-clockwise) slightly, no more than half a turn.

3. To adjust roll tension: Slightly tighten or loosen the 10-32 nylock nut using an appropriate tool (not specified, likely a wrench or socket).

4. Reattach snap caps if removed.

How can I adjust the arm pivot tension? (Optional)

NOTE: Adjustment points (socket screws) are factory torqued for optimal performance. Adjusting these may affect the optimal torque value.

If more or less tension is desired in the arm pivot points:

1. Locate the socket screws at the pivot points.

2. Use the 3/16″ allen wrench (C).

3. To increase tension, turn the socket screw clockwise.

4. To reduce tension, turn the socket screw counter-clockwise.

Important: Do not turn the screw more than half a turn in either direction from its current position.
