Power on: Long press the Power button. The device will turn on after about 5 seconds.

Power off: Long press the Power button. A shutdown progress bar will appear, and the device will turn off.

Always-on display: A brief long press of the Power button will turn off the main screen and activate a power-saving always-on display. A short press of any button will wake the screen.

1. Enter the menu.

3. Rotate the function knob to highlight your desired language.

4. Short press the Power button to confirm your selection.

The following languages are supported: English, русский, deutsch, français, español, italiano, slovenčina, 日本語, 한국의, polski, română, norsk, svenska, dansk, čeština, magyar, suomalainen.

WiFi icon: Indicates WiFi is active.

Bluetooth icon: Indicates Bluetooth is active.

Video recording icon: Indicates the device is recording video.

2.0x Magnification: Shows the current digital zoom level.

Audio icon: Shows that audio recording is enabled.

10:30 Time: Displays the current time.

Battery power icon: Shows the remaining battery level.

Video recorded icon (check mark): Appears when a video has been successfully saved.

Photo taken icon (check mark): Appears when a photo has been successfully saved.

Calibration succeeded icon (check mark): Appears after a successful image calibration.

Enter Menu: Short press the Power button (this function can be reassigned via the Shortcut key setting).

Navigate/Switch Options: Rotate the function knob to move between menu items.

Select/Set: Short press the Power button to confirm a selection or enter a sub-menu.

1. Enter the menu and select “Zoom in”.

2. Rotate the function knob to adjust the magnification level (e.g., 1.0X, 2.0X, 4.0X).

2. Short press the Power button to capture an image. A checkmark icon will appear on the screen to confirm the photo has been taken.

The device also has an automatic calibration mode which will perform the operation automatically when needed.

You can customize the function of a short press of the power button.

1. Navigate to the “Shortcut key” setting in the menu.

2. Select from the available functions: Menu, Zoom in, Take photos, Video recording, Color palettes, or Calibration.

3. The chosen function will now be activated by a short press of the power button from the main screen.

1. In the device menu, navigate to “Advanced functions” and enable WIFI. You can choose between 5G and 2.4G bands.

2. On your smartphone, go to your Wi-Fi settings.

3. Find the device’s Wi-Fi network (e.g., XXXXXXXX-XX-xxxx) and connect to it using the password provided on the device’s screen (e.g., 12345678).

4. Open the TargetIR app on your smartphone. The device should now be connected, allowing you to view the live image and control functions from your phone.

Picture-in-Picture (PIP) mode displays a magnified image of the central part of the screen in a small window at the top of the main view. This allows you to see a detailed, zoomed-in view while maintaining a wide field of view in the main display.

When enabled, the Hot Track feature places a cursor on the screen that automatically tracks and follows the hottest point in the real-time image.

There are three scene modes available in the Image settings:

1. Natural mode: The overall screen is gentle and natural.

2. Enhanced mode: The light and shade contrast will be enhanced.

3. Highlight mode: The heat source target will be highlighted for better visibility.

1. Go to “Image settings” in the menu.

2. Select either “Brightness” or “Contrast”.

3. Rotate the function knob to adjust the selected setting to your preference.

Stadiametric rangefinding estimates the distance to a target of a known size.

1. Enter the stadiametric rangefinding menu.

2. Select the target type that most closely matches what you are viewing (e.g., deer, boar, rabbit).

3. By turning the function knob, adjust the position of the upper and lower horizontal lines to bracket the target in the image.

4. The device will then automatically estimate and display the distance to the target.

Manual calibration: Short press the Power button (or assigned shortcut key) for calibration operation.

Automatic calibration: The calibration operation will be performed automatically by the device when needed.

1. Navigate to “General Settings” and then “Unit settings”.

2. You can choose between “Meter” and “Yard”.

3. Short press the Power button to confirm your selection.

Smart sleep is a power-saving feature. If the device detects no operation for 3 minutes, it will automatically enter a low-power sleep mode. Any operation will wake the device.

1. In the “Power settings” menu, select “Timed shutdown”.

2. Choose from the available options: 15mins, 30mins, 60mins, or Off.

3. If a time is set, the device will automatically power off if no operation is detected within the set time.

This feature automatically closes the menu after a period of inactivity.

1. Navigate to the “Timed menu off” setting.

2. Choose from the available options: 10s, 20s, 60s, or Off.

3. The menu will now close automatically if no operation is detected within the set time.

Time-limited video recording: This feature allows you to record short video clips. For example, you can set it to record for 15 seconds or 1 minute at a time.

Audio: In the “Record settings” menu, you can toggle audio recording on or off. When enabled, the microphone will record sound along with your videos.

OSD: In the settings menu, you can toggle the OSD on or off. Turning it off will hide information overlays like magnification, time, and battery status from the screen for a cleaner view.

Watermark: In the settings menu, you can toggle the watermark on or off. When on, a watermark with information like date and time will be embedded onto your saved photos and videos.

1. Navigate to the “Time and Date” settings in the menu.

2. In “Time settings”, you can set the current time. Use the function knob to adjust values and the Power button to move to the next field.

3. In “Time format”, you can select between 24-Hour Time and 12-Hour Time.

4. In “Date style”, you can select the format (e.g., YYYY-MM-DD, DD-MM-YYYY, MM-DD-YYYY).

After the device is screened off (by a long press of the Power button), a standby icon will be displayed on the screen. This is a low-power mode that keeps the device ready for quick activation. You can enable or disable this feature in the settings.

Enable the Bluetooth function on the device for automatic pairing. Once a Bluetooth remote control is paired, the device can be controlled remotely.

Navigate to the “Memory card formatting” option in the settings menu. Activating this function will clear all the data, including all photos and videos, from the memory card.

Navigate to the “Restore default” option in the settings menu. Activating this function will restore all settings and functions to their original factory default state.

The memory space of the device is full. It is necessary to format the memory card or disconnect the device from the computer to free up space.

Reset the time and date on the device in the menu.

Short press the composite knob to wake up and light the screen.

Rotate the objective lens to manually focus until the display is clear.

Storage conditions for the packaged product: well ventilated and clean indoor space at 30-60°C, with ≤95%RH, and no condensed or corrosive gas.

Transportation:

Avoid rain, water invasion, upside down, violent vibration and impact during transportation. Handle with care and do not throw the product.
