When a notification arrives, the corresponding icon will appear at the top of the screen. Drag-n-drop the icon by slowly swiping downward to expand a notification. When finished, either swipe it away or tap the dismiss all button.

Google Now is your personal digital assistant that provides you with easy access to weather, traffic, scores, and other need-to-know information. It uses location reporting and history. You can turn it on or off by tapping the Google search bar on any Home screen.

Tap the Google Maps icon to see where you are on a map or get directions. Select your mode of transportation by tapping the directions icon, then type the address or destination in the search box.
