To connect the NEC ACCUSYNC AS193I to your system, follow these steps:

1. Turn off the power to your computer.

2. For a PC or MAC with DVI digital output, connect the DVI signal cable to the connector of the display card in your system and tighten all screws.

3. For a PC with Analog output, connect the 15-pin mini D-SUB signal cable to the connector of the display card in your system and tighten all screws.

4. For a MAC, connect the Macintosh cable adapter to the computer and then attach the 15-pin mini D-SUB signal cable to the Macintosh cable adapter and tighten all screws.

5. Connect the 15-pin mini D-SUB of the video signal cable to the appropriate connector on the back of the monitor.

6. Connect one end of the power cord to the monitor and the other end to the power outlet. Place the video signal cable and power cord into the cable holder.

7. Turn on the monitor with the bottom power button and turn on the computer.

If you have no picture on your NEC ACCUSYNC AS193I, check the following:

Ensure the signal cable is completely connected to the display card and computer.

Check that the display card is completely seated in its slot.

Verify that both the front power switch and computer power switch are in the ON position.

Make sure a supported mode has been selected on the display card or system.

Check the monitor and display card for compatibility and recommended settings.

Inspect the signal cable connector for bent or pushed-in pins.

Check the signal input.

To prepare the NEC ACCUSYNC AS193I for alternative mounting purposes, follow these steps:

1. Disconnect all cables.

2. Place the monitor face down on a non-abrasive surface.

3. Remove the 4 screws connecting the monitor to the stand and remove the stand.

4. Use a VESA-compatible alternative mounting method.

Note: Always remove the base stand when shipping the NEC ACCUSYNC AS193I.

The NEC ACCUSYNC AS193I power consumption levels are as follows:

Use the control buttons on the front of the NEC ACCUSYNC AS193I to adjust settings. Press the SELECT key to display the OSD. When the OSD is displaying, use the – or + buttons to move left/right or adjust values, and the SELECT button to select function icons or confirm adjustments.

Image persistence occurs when a ghost of an image remains on the screen. It is not permanent. To alleviate it, turn the NEC ACCUSYNC AS193I off for as long as the previous image was displayed. For example, if an image was on for one hour, turn the monitor off for one hour to erase it. It is recommended to use a screen saver at regular intervals or turn off the monitor when not in use.

If the NEC ACCUSYNC AS193I displays an OUT OF RANGE message, it means the signal frequency is out of range or the resolution/clock is too high. You should choose one of the supported modes for the monitor.

When the LCD screen of the NEC ACCUSYNC AS193I is dusty, gently wipe it with a soft cloth. Do not rub the panel with coarse or hard material, do not apply pressure to the LCD surface, and do not use OA cleaner as it will cause deterioration or discoloration.

To activate the OSD lock out function on the NEC ACCUSYNC AS193I, press the 1 2/RESET button, then press the + button and hold both down simultaneously. To de-activate, perform the same action again.
