What should I read before setting up my NEATO BOTVAC D3 CONNECTED?
To ensure the best possible experience and minimize risk of damage, please note the following:
Observe your NEATO BOTVAC D3 CONNECTED during its first few cleaning runs to make any necessary adjustments to the environment for optimal navigation.
• While the robot has a smart navigation system to avoid obstacles, it may occasionally bump into furniture, objects, pets, and people. If you have special objects that could be damaged by bumping, please remove them from the room or use boundary markers.
• The robot’s rotating brush operates like a regular upright vacuum. Do not use the NEATO BOTVAC D3 CONNECTED on floors or rugs (e.g., with fringes) that you would not use a regular upright vacuum on.
• If the cleaning area contains a cliff, drop, balcony, fireplace, or any other area where the robot could fall, place a physical barrier to prevent travel into that area. Drop sensors and boundary markers are aids and should not be relied upon solely to avoid a dangerous situation.

What should I do if the INFO LED on my NEATO BOTVAC D3 CONNECTED is solid red?
A solid red INFO LED means the robot is having difficulty navigating the environment. This could be because the laser is blocked, it’s having trouble navigating the floor, the sensors are dirty, or the wheels/brush are dirty.
Follow these steps to troubleshoot:
1. Make sure nothing in the environment has changed since the robot started cleaning (e.g., furniture moved, robot moved to a different room).
2. Ensure the wheel wells are not blocked with debris.
3. Ensure the battery is charged.
4. If issues persist, reset the robot by pressing and holding the button for 10 seconds. The robot will turn off. Press the Start Button to turn it back on and try running it again.
If the issue is still not resolved:
5. Make sure the robot’s laser freely rotates: Use a dry cotton swab to rotate the laser 5 times to the left and 5 times to the right, ensuring not to put the swab in either hole.
6. Using compressed air from about 6 inches away, use short bursts to clean the laser area.
Let the robot fully charge and try running it again.
