The MIO CYCLO 200 N506 features the following components:

1. Status indicator: Shows the battery and backlight status.

2. POWER button: Turns your device on and off.

3. Touch screen: Displays the output and allows you to select commands or enter information.

4. Memory card slot: This function may be reserved.

5. Micro-USB connector: Connects to the charger or USB cable.

6. Bike mount socket: Used for the device mount.

The status indicator light on your MIO CYCLO 200 N506 displays the following:

• Glows in amber: The battery is charging.

• Glows in green: The battery is full.

• Flashes in green: The backlight is turned off.

You should charge the battery for at least 8 hours before using your MIO CYCLO 200 N506 for the first time. There are two ways to charge the battery:

• Using a mains power socket: Connect your device to the power adapter using the USB cable. Plug the mains power charger into a power socket.

• Via the computer: Connect your device to the computer using the provided USB cable.

CAUTION: For optimal performance of the lithium battery, do not charge it where the temperature is high (e.g., in direct sunlight). Failure to follow battery usage instructions could cause damage and will void the warranty.

1. Mount the device and accessories onto your bike.

2. Press and hold the POWER button for 3 seconds to turn your device on.

3. Follow the prompts to personalize your device, including selecting your preferred language, setting the date and time, setting the units format, and creating your user profile.

4. Activate the map by entering the Startup Key, which is printed on the bottom of the box, and tap OK. You will only need to do this the first time you use the device.

5. Once turned on, the device will automatically search for satellite signals. When GPS is fixed, the GPS signal icon will appear on the screen.

1. Turn on the computer.

2. Turn on your MIO CYCLO 200 N506.

3. Connect the Micro-USB end of the USB cable to the back of your device and the other end to a USB port on your computer.

4. Select the desired connection type from the pop-up message window:

• Connect to PC: Your device will be recognized as two external mass-storage drives (Mio_system and Mio_data). You can use Windows File Explorer to copy/move files. A USB Connection screen will appear on your device to prevent you from using it while connected. DO NOT delete any pre-installed files, as this can cause the device to crash.

• Charge only: You will be able to continue using your device while the battery is in charging mode via the computer.

1. The bike mount kit includes two types of rubber pads. Select the rubber pad that best fits the handlebars on your bike and attach the bike mount using the two plastic straps.

2. Align the latch on the back of the device with the slot on the bike mount, and then rotate the device clockwise to lock it to the bike mount. You can choose to mount the device on the handlebar or on the stem.

To remove the device from the bike mount, rotate it counter-clockwise.

• Turning on the device: Press and hold the POWER button for 3 seconds.

• Turning off the device: Press and hold the POWER button for 3 seconds to pop up the Power Off/Cancel screen. Choose Power Off. If the device is not responding, press and hold the POWER button for 5 seconds to force it to power off.

• Turning off the backlight: You can set the device to turn off the backlight automatically by navigating to Main menu > Settings > System > Screen > Backlight Timer. Press the POWER button briefly to turn the backlight back on.

• Navigating through screens: While the device is on, press the POWER button briefly to return to the previous screen.

• Unlocking the screen: When the screen is locked, press the POWER button briefly to unlock it.

• Tap: Quickly touch the screen once to open menus or select an onscreen button or option.

• Drag: While navigating on the map, tap and hold on the screen without releasing your finger to move the map to the desired position.

The keyboard screen will display when you are required to enter text, such as when searching for a street name.

• To enter characters or numbers, tap the keys. The keyboard features “Predictive text” technology to help you search for addresses easily.

• Tap the backspace key to delete a character.

• Tap the checkmark key when you are done.

• You can tap a button to switch between the ABC keyboard and the Numeric keypad.

To change the keyboard language layout, go to Main menu > Settings > System > Keyboard.

To access the Dashboard, tap the Dashboard icon from the Main menu screen.

The Dashboard function is made of several screens placed next to each other. Tap the arrow buttons to change between the different Dashboard screens (e.g., Map screen, Info 1 screen, Info 2 screen).

When navigation is in progress, you can record the data by tapping the record button. The recorded track will be displayed as red on the map. During recording, you can stop or pause it by tapping the pause/stop button and selecting the appropriate option.

1. To access the Navigate wizard, tap the Navigate icon from the Main menu screen.

2. Select the desired navigation function (e.g., Home, Address, POI, Tracks).

3. When the search is complete, the Searching Result screen displays information about the route, such as total distance and an elevation plot.

4. From the Searching Result screen, you can do one of the following:

• Tap GO to start navigating.

• Tap the map icon to display the route to the destination.

• Tap the +/- icons to zoom in/out of the elevation plot.

Setting up your Home location:

If you have not set an address as Home, the first time you try to navigate to Home you will be prompted to search for an address using the Home setup wizard. Follow the prompts to enter your address. Once your home location has been set, simply tap GO on the screen to be directed to Home.

Editing the Home location:

1. On the Home Address screen, tap the edit icon.

2. You can change the home location by searching for a new address.

Finding by Address:

In the Navigate wizard, tap Address. Then select the country, city/postal code, street, and house number to find your destination.

Searching for a POI:

1. In the Navigate wizard, tap POI. To find a new POI, tap New.

2. Tap the Nearby button and then select Nearby (for POIs around your current position) or City (for POIs in a selected city).

3. You can find a POI by keyword, category, or specific types such as emergency, bike store, or food and drink.

1. Tap Tracks on the Navigate screen to choose from individual tracks downloaded to your device.

2. Tap the info icon to display more information about the track.

3. Select the Nearby mode to navigate to the nearest point of your track, or Back-to-Start mode to navigate to the starting point of your track. Tap GO to start navigating.

You can tap the Sort by button at the bottom of the screen to change the sorting order of the tracks by name or distance.

Stopping navigation:

To stop navigation for your ride, tap the stop icon on the Navigate screen.

Going back to start:

This feature is only available when recording is in progress. The Back to start function enables the device to navigate you back to the starting point after you have reached the destination or completed your ride. You can access it from the Navigate screen.

The Surprise Me™ function offers up to three exciting and different routes around your current location.

1. Tap the Surprise Me (?) icon from the Main menu screen.

2. Generate the route by Distance mode or Time mode.

3. Assign the desired amount of distance or time to ride in the respective field.

4. On the Searching Result screen, select one route (by the colour buttons) and then tap GO to start navigating.

Viewing History:

1. To view history data, tap the History icon from the Main menu screen and then select an entry from the list.

2. Tap the info icon to view details of the trip (date, time, distance, average speed, etc.).

3. Tap GO to start navigating that route again.

Viewing the Summary of Recorded Data:

On the History screen, tap the Summary button to view statistics about recorded data over a defined period. You can change the filter option by tapping All Recordings or Odometer, and you can decide what data to summarize by selecting Totals, Year, Month, Week or Day.

Go to the Settings menu, then select Profiles. The Profile entry screen displays the existing profile(s).

• You can set up to 6 profiles on the device.

• Tap Create new profile and enter personal data (Name, Birth date, Weight, Gender, and profile Type) to create a new profile.

• Select an existing profile entry and then tap the edit icon to edit the name or the delete icon to delete the entry.

You can select the profile Type as City bike, Mountain bike, Race bike or Running. The system will create different routes depending on the profile type.

This setting allows you to set the routing preference by selecting Prefer, Allow or Try to avoid in each route option.

1. From the Settings menu, select Routing.

2. Tap the arrows to select the desired routing type: City bike, Race bike or Mountain bike.

3. For the selected bike type, set your preference for different road types.

The available options may be different depending on the selected routing type:

1. From the Settings menu, go to Dashboard.

2. In the Dashboard Layout Change screen, tap the button for the screen you want to change (e.g., Info 1, Info 2, Elevation, Navigation, Map, History).

3. Tap the number displayed at the bottom of the screen that indicates the data fields (e.g., speed, distance, time) included in the target screen.

4. Tap the numeric button and then select from the available number of data fields to display.

5. You can also change what data fields are displayed by tapping on an individual data field and then selecting the desired option from the list.

1. From the Settings menu, tap Manage.

2. Tap the corresponding button for the data you wish to manage: History, Tracks, Addresses, or POI.

3. Select the desired entry and then do one of the following:

• Tap the edit icon to edit the name of the entry.

• Tap the delete icon to delete the entry.

Navigate to Settings > System > Screen. Here you can adjust the following:

• Brightness: Drag the slider to the left or right to decrease or increase the screen brightness.

• Backlight Timer: Tap the option to select how long (from 15 seconds to Never) the display screen remains lit after you press the POWER button.

• Screen Lock Timer: Tap the option to select how long of inactivity (from 5 seconds to Never) will lock the device screen.

• Auto Power Off Timer: Tap the option to select how long of inactivity (from 10 minutes to Never) will turn off the device automatically.

• Keep your device away from excessive moisture and extreme temperatures.

• Avoid exposing it to direct sunlight or strong ultraviolet light for extended periods.

• Do not place anything on top of your device or drop objects on it.

• Do not drop your device or subject it to severe shock.

• Avoid sudden and severe temperature changes, which can cause moisture condensation. If this occurs, allow the device to dry out completely before use.

• The screen surface can be scratched. Avoid touching it with sharp objects.

• Never clean your device when it is turned on. Use a soft, lint-free cloth.

• Do not use paper towels to clean the screen.

• Never attempt to disassemble, repair, or modify your device.

• Do not store or carry flammable liquids, gases, or explosive materials in the same compartment as your device.

If your MIO CYCLO 200 N506 stops responding or appears to be “frozen” or “locked-up,” you can perform a hardware reset. Insert a small rod, such as a straightened paperclip, into the reset button on the device.

The remaining battery power may be too low to run your device. Charge the battery.

First, make sure that your device is not running out of battery power. If the problem still persists, restart your device.

If you cannot establish a connection, try the following steps:

• Make sure that your MIO CYCLO 200 N506 and your computer are both turned on before trying to establish a connection.

• Make sure that the cable is securely plugged into the USB port on your computer and on your device.

• Connect the USB cable directly to your computer; do not run the cable through a USB hub.

• Restart your MIO CYCLO 200 N506 before connecting the cable. Always disconnect your device before you restart your computer.

• Use only the charger supplied with your device.

• Do not use the charger in a high moisture environment. Never touch the charger when your hands or feet are wet.

• Allow adequate ventilation around the charger when using it. Do not cover the charger with paper or other objects that will reduce cooling.

• Connect the charger to a proper power source.

• Do not use the charger if the cord becomes damaged.

• The device contains a non-replaceable internal Lithium Ion battery. To reduce the risk of fire or burns, do not disassemble, crush, puncture or dispose of it in fire or water.
