To assemble the MIDEA MVC-V18P cordless handstick, follow these steps:

1. Slide the wand onto the hand vacuum until you hear it click into place.

2. Push the wand into the motorized floor nozzle until it clicks into place.

Follow these instructions to install the MIDEA MVC-V18P wall mount:

1. Choose a location near a power outlet. Locate a point high enough on the wall to allow the wand and motorized floor nozzle to hang freely.

2. Place the mount against the wall and use a pencil to mark the drill holes.

3. Drill holes using a 1/4 inch bit and insert the provided drywall anchors.

4. Insert the screws through the holes on the mount and tighten them until the mount is firmly attached.

To charge the MIDEA MVC-V18P and store accessories, use the following procedure:

1. Place the assembled vacuum cleaner on the wall mount.

2. Plug the charger into a power outlet and then into the charger port located on the handle.

3. Loop the charger cord into the clips on the sides of the wall mount to keep it organized.

4. Charge the battery fully before using the vacuum for the first time; this may take up to six hours.

5. The battery indicator lights show the level of charge: ‘A’ indicates half charged, and ‘B’ indicates fully charged. The indicator lights will stop blinking when the unit is fully charged.

Note: It is recommended to recharge the cleaner after each use.

To clean floors with the MIDEA MVC-V18P, follow these operational steps:

1. Click the power button once to start the vacuum. It will start on High mode.

2. Use the Low/High button to switch between power modes.

3. Glide the motorized floor nozzle back and forth over the area to be cleaned. Avoid vacuuming oversized or sharp items like screws.

4. Twist your wrist to engage the swivel function for better maneuverability.

5. When finished, click the power button once to stop the motor.

The dust cup should be emptied after every use. Follow these steps for the MIDEA MVC-V18P:

1. Click the dust cup release button, which is located on the front of the handle just above the dust cup, and pull the dust cup out.

2. Press the lever to release the bottom lid of the dust cup to empty the debris into a trash bin.

3. To reinstall the dust cup, angle it forward so the lower hook catches in the slot.

4. Gently push the cup back towards the wand until you hear a click, indicating it is locked in place.

Always turn off the MIDEA MVC-V18P hand vacuum before attaching accessories. You can use it in the following ways:

To use without tools: Press the release button to remove the wand. Collect debris directly with the hand vacuum nozzle.

To use tools with the wand: Press the release button to remove the motorized floor nozzle. Slide the desired tool onto the end of the wand until it clicks.

To use tools with the hand vacuum only: Press the release button to remove the wand. Slide the desired tool directly onto the hand vacuum until it clicks.

Crevice tool: Use this to clean hard-to-reach areas such as baseboard edges, dryer vents, corners, chairs, and sofas.

2-in-1 upholstery tool: Use the brush side to vacuum upholstered surfaces, vents, or blinds. Use the felt portion for delicate surfaces. To switch between these portions, press the thumb release and slide the brush up or down.

For cleaning stairs with the MIDEA MVC-V18P, it is ideal to use the hand vacuum combined with the motorized floor nozzle:

1. Press the release button to remove the wand from the hand vacuum.

2. Attach the motorized floor nozzle directly to the hand vacuum until it clicks.

3. Click the power button once to start. Use the Low/High button to adjust suction power as desired.

Never operate the MIDEA MVC-V18P without the filters, filter screen, and dust cup in the proper position. Follow these maintenance schedules:

Washable dust cup filter (Clean monthly):

1. Press the dust cup release button and pull the cup out.

2. Lift out the pre-motor filter and shake off dust frequently.

3. Every three months, rinse the filter and dry it thoroughly for at least 24 hours.

4. Reattach the filter and cyclone, then click the dust cup back onto the unit.

Washable post-motor filter (Clean every 6 months):

1. Twist the filter cover and remove it.

2. Lift out the post-motor filter.

3. Shake the filter to remove dust.

4. Every 6 months, replace the filter or rinse it and dry it thoroughly for at least 24 hours.

5. Reposition the filter and the cover, then twist it to the ‘lock’ position.

To avoid unnecessary service calls, periodically check the MIDEA MVC-V18P brushroll for debris. If the brushroll becomes clogged, it will automatically shut off. Ensure the vacuum is turned off and unplugged before maintenance.

1. Step on the floor nozzle to lower the handle. Turn the vacuum face down on the floor.

2. Use scissors to clip away any heavy threads or strings wrapped around the brushroll.

3. If debris cannot be removed easily, locate the brushroll release tab on the right side and open the brushroll cover.

4. Remove the brushroll to clear any tangled hair and remaining debris. Do not attempt to remove the belt.

To reassemble the brushroll:

1. Align one end of the brushroll with the floor nozzle gear.

2. Press the other end into the slot.

3. Replace the brushroll release tab into the slot and press down until it clicks into place.
