What are the safety warnings for using the MATRIX EA648 fan?
1. Unplug the fan before moving it or performing maintenance. Do not touch the fan when your hands are wet.

How do I care for and maintain my MATRIX EA648 fan?
Unplug the appliance before cleaning. Don’t use any water for cleaning metal surfaces. Slightly moisten a cloth and then wipe off the surfaces of the fan. In order to remove the dust from the grill, use a vacuum cleaner or remove the front grill by removing the securing screw on the edge of the grill with a screwdriver. After cleaning, remount the grill. After this, fasten the securing screw on the edge of the grill.
What are the operating instructions for the MATRIX EA648 fan?
1. Place the fan on a safe, flat surface where it can not fall or be pulled by the cord.
2. Plug unit into electrical outlet.
3. The fan comes with two different speeds. Pull power chain once to operate the Low speed and allow to operate for 10 seconds. Once 10 seconds have passed, you may now pull the power chain to the High position.
4. The fan has an oscillation function which can be operated by pushing down the oscillation button on the motor case.
5. Always turn off and unplug fan after using.
How do I assemble and wall-mount the MATRIX EA648 fan?
CAUTION: Use the mounting accessories shipped with products for wall mounting.
Step 1: Mount the Bracket
a. Mark the hole locations where you wish to install the fan by using the bracket, and then drill the holes.
b. For concrete wall installation, after drilling, you would insert the wall anchors and tap them flush with the wall, position the bracket and then screw the two bolts into the anchors, securely attaching the wall.
c. For wall stud installation, after drilling the smaller diameter pilot hole, position the bracket and screw the two bolts into the wall until they are secured.
Step 2: Prepare the Motor
Remove four sets of Hexagonal Nuts, Spring Washers and Big Washers from Motor. Save them for the next step.
Step 3: Attach the Rear Guard
Set Rear Guard in the proper position, and attach it to Motor by securing back the Hexagonal Nuts, Spring Washers and Big Washers from the previous step.
Step 4: Attach the Fan Blade
Assemble Fan Blade onto Motor Shaft by tightening two screws which are located on Fan Blade. Make sure the screw is tightly secured.
Step 5: Attach the Front Guard
Assemble Front Guard to Rear Guard by fixing both Guards together with clips.
Step 6: Secure the Guard Assembly
Secure the assembly of front guard and rear guard by tightening a screw and nut on the bottom position of the assembly.
Step 7: Install the Fan Head
Install the fan head into the wall mount bracket.
