I find that playing music from my Powerbook Pro to my Emberton is unstable. The music ‘chops’. Is there an explanation and a way to remedy the problem?
Here is some information that may help to address the issue you are experiencing with your Emberton speaker.
Bluetooth Connectivity
The instability and “chopping” you describe could stem from a weak or unstable Bluetooth connection between your Powerbook Pro and the Emberton speaker. Here’s why Bluetooth connections can be unstable and some ways to potentially improve the situation:
Distance: Bluetooth has a limited range. Try keeping your Powerbook Pro closer to the Emberton speaker.
Obstacles: Walls, furniture, and even other electronic devices can interfere with the Bluetooth signal. Try to minimize obstacles between the two devices.
Interference: Other devices using the 2.4GHz frequency, like Wi-Fi routers and microwaves, can cause interference. Try moving the speaker and your Powerbook Pro away from potential sources of interference.
Software and Drivers: Ensure your Powerbook Pro’s Bluetooth drivers are up-to-date. Outdated or corrupted drivers can lead to connection problems.
Please help!
My Marshall Emberton speaker won’t charge. What seems to be the problem.
Thanks for the reply
Here are some potential reasons why your Marshall Emberton speaker might not be charging, based on the PDF:
Connection Issues: Ensure that the USB cable is securely connected to both the speaker’s USB port and a working power source.
Power Source: Verify that the power source you are using is functioning correctly. Try a different power outlet or USB adapter to rule out any issues with the power source itself.
Battery Indicator: Check the battery indicator on the speaker. If the battery indicator is not blinking while plugged in, it could indicate a problem with the charging circuitry or the battery itself.
The PDF states that the battery is fully charged when the battery indicator stops blinking. It also describes the layout of the speaker and provides information on how to use the control knob and Bluetooth pairing. However, it does not provide specific troubleshooting steps for charging issues.
