To attach the stand to your LG 60LB561V-ZE, please follow these steps. Note that the image shown in the manual may differ from your TV model.

1. Place the screen facing down on a cushioned table or flat surface to protect the screen from scratches.

2. There are two types of stands depending on your specific model series. Identify your stand type and follow the corresponding instructions:

For models LB55**, LB56**-ZE / ZC, LB62**-ZA / ZB:

1. Align the Stand Base (Part A) and the Stand Base (Part B) with the TV set.

2. Secure the stand to the TV using the provided screws. The screw type depends on the screen size:

– For 32-inch models: Use 4 screws of type M4 x L20.

– For other models in this series: Use 4 screws of type M4 x L14.

For models LB56**-ZT / ZQ, LB62**-ZE:

1. Align the Stand Base (Part A) and the Stand Base (Part B) with the TV set.

2. Secure the stand to the TV using the provided screws. The screw type depends on the screen size:

– For 32-inch models: Use 4 screws of type M4 x L20.

– For other models in this series: Use 4 screws of type M4 x L14.

Antenna Connection:

Connect the LG 60LB561V-ZE to a wall antenna socket with an RF cable (75 Ω).

• To use more than 2 TVs, use a signal splitter.

• If the image quality is poor, install a signal amplifier.

• If image quality is poor with an antenna connected, try to realign it.

• Supported DTV Audio formats are MPEG, Dolby Digital, Dolby Digital Plus, and HE-AAC.

Satellite Dish Connection (Only satellite models):

Connect the LG 60LB561V-ZE to a satellite dish to a satellite socket with a satellite RF cable (75 Ω).

Euro Scart Connection:

Connect an external device to the TV using a Euro Scart cable. This transmits video and audio signals. The output type depends on the current input mode:

Note: Any Euro Scart cable used must be signal shielded. For 3D models, only 2D signals can be output through the SCART cable when watching digital TV in 3D mode.

Other Connections (HDMI, Component, AV, etc.):

Connect your external devices like DVD/Blu-Ray players, HD Cable Boxes, VCRs, PCs, gaming devices, or audio systems to the appropriate ports on the back of the LG 60LB561V-ZE.

• For the best picture and audio quality, use an HDMI cable to connect external devices.

• External device connections may differ from the model.

• In PC mode, noise may be associated with resolution, vertical pattern, contrast, or brightness. If noise is present, change the PC output to another resolution, change the refresh rate, or adjust the brightness and contrast on the PICTURE menu until the picture is clear.

• Some resolution settings in PC mode may not work properly depending on the graphics card.

Please follow this advice to prevent the LG 60LB561V-ZE from being scratched or damaged and for safe transportation:

• Avoid touching the screen at all times, as this may result in damage.

• It is recommended to move the TV in the box or packing material that it originally came in.

• Before moving or lifting the TV, disconnect the power cord and all cables.

• When holding the TV, the screen should face away from you to avoid damage.

• Hold the top and bottom of the TV frame firmly. Do not hold the transparent part, speaker, or speaker grill area.

• When transporting a large TV, there should be at least 2 people.

• When transporting the TV, do not expose it to jolts or excessive vibration.

• Keep the TV upright during transport; never turn it on its side or tilt it left or right.

• Do not apply excessive pressure to cause flexing or bending of the frame chassis as it may damage the screen.

Mounting on a table:

1. Lift and tilt the TV into its upright position on a table.

2. Leave a 10 cm (minimum) space from the wall for proper ventilation.

3. Connect the power cord to a wall outlet.

Caution: Do not place the TV near or on sources of heat, as this may result in fire or other damage.

Securing the TV to a wall (This feature is not available for all models):

1. Insert and tighten the eye-bolts, or TV brackets and bolts on the back of the TV. If there are bolts already in the eye-bolt positions, remove them first.

2. Mount the wall brackets with the bolts to the wall. Match the location of the wall bracket and the eye-bolts on the rear of the TV.

3. Connect the eye-bolts and wall brackets tightly with a sturdy rope. Make sure to keep the rope horizontal with the flat surface.

Caution: Make sure that children do not climb on or hang on the TV.

Mounting on a wall:

LG recommends that wall mounting be performed by a qualified professional installer. Use an authorized LG wall mount and contact your local dealer or qualified personnel.

• Use screws and wall mounts that meet the VESA standard. Any damages or injuries by misuse or using an improper accessory are not covered by the warranty.

• Do not over-tighten the screws as this may cause damage to the TV and void your warranty.

You can operate the TV functions by pressing or moving the joystick button located below the TV screen.

Basic Functions:

• Power On: When the TV is off, place your finger on the joystick button, press it once, and release it.

• Power Off: When the TV is on, place your finger on the joystick button, press it for a few seconds, and release it. (If the Menu is on screen, pressing and holding the button will exit the Menu).

• Volume Control: Move the joystick left or right to adjust the volume.

• Programmes Control: Move the joystick up or down to scroll through saved programmes.

Note: Be careful not to press the joystick button when you intend to move it up, down, left, or right. If you press it first, you cannot adjust the volume or saved programmes.

Adjusting the Menu:

When the TV is on, press the joystick button once. You can adjust the menu items by moving the joystick up, down, left, or right.

• TV off: Turns the power off.

• Settings: Accesses the main menu.

• Close: Clears on-screen displays and returns to TV viewing.

• Input List: Changes the input source.

The remote control for your LG 60LB561V-ZE may vary. Please identify your remote and refer to the button descriptions below. Always point the remote control toward the remote control sensor on the TV.

For Remote Type 1 (Only LB55**, LB56** models):

• POWER: Turns the TV on or off.

• TV/RAD: Selects Radio, TV and DTV programme.

• SUBTITLE: Recalls your preferred subtitle in digital mode.

• AD: By pressing the AD button, audio descriptions function will be enabled.

• RATIO: Resizes an image.

• PAGE (up/down): Moves to the previous or next screen.

• Teletext buttons (TEXT / T.OPT): These buttons are used for teletext.

• INFO: Views the information of the current programme and screen.

• SETTINGS: Accesses the main menus.

• Q.MENU: Accesses the Quick menus.

• Navigation buttons (up/down/left/right): Scrolls through menus or options.

• OK: Selects menus or options and confirms your input.

• BACK: Returns to the previous level.

• EXIT: Clears on-screen displays and returns to TV viewing.

• AV MODE: Selects an AV mode.

• REC: Starts to record and displays record menu (Only Time MachineReady supported model).

• Control buttons (Play, Pause, etc.): Controls the MY MEDIA menus, Time MachineReady control or the SIMPLINK compatible devices.

• Colour buttons (Red, Green, Yellow, Blue): Access special functions in some menus.

For Remote Type 2 (Only LB62** models):

Automatically Setting Up Programme:

Go to SETTINGS → SETUP → Auto Tuning to automatically tune the programmes. Auto Tuning only finds programmes that are currently broadcasting.

Adjusting Picture with Picture Wizard:

Go to SETTINGS → PICTURE → Picture Wizard III to calibrate and adjust for optimum picture quality.

Selecting Picture Mode:

Go to SETTINGS → PICTURE → Picture Mode to select a mode optimized for your viewing environment.

• Vivid: Heightens contrast, brightness and sharpness.

• Standard: Displays images in standard levels.

• Eco/APS: Reduces power consumption.

• Cinema/Game: Displays the optimum picture for movies or games.

• Sports: Optimizes the image for high and dynamic actions.

• Expert 1, 2: Menu for picture quality adjustment for experts and amateurs.

Setting Advanced Picture Controls:

Go to SETTINGS → PICTURE → Picture Mode → Advanced Control / Expert Control to calibrate the screen for each picture mode.

• Dynamic Contrast/Colour: Adjusts contrast and colour for a more optimal and natural image.

• Skin/Sky/Grass Colour: Set these colour spectrums separately.

• Gamma: Sets the gradation curve.

• Colour Gamut: Selects the range of colours that can be expressed.

• Edge Enhancer: Shows clearer and distinctive edges.

• Colour Temperature: Adjusts the overall tone of the screen.

• Colour Management System: A system for experts to adjust colour with a test pattern.

Additional Picture Options:

Go to SETTINGS → PICTURE → Picture Mode → Picture Option.

• Noise Reduction/MPEG Noise Reduction: Eliminates noise in the picture.

• Black Level: Adjusts brightness and contrast to suit the black level of the input picture.

• Real Cinema: Optimizes the screen for movie viewing.

• Motion Eye Care/SUPER Energy Saving: Saves power by adjusting brightness corresponding to the image movement.

Using TruMotion (Depending on model):

Go to SETTINGS → PICTURE → TruMotion to correct images for smoother motion sequences.

Using the Energy Saving Feature:

Go to SETTINGS → PICTURE → Energy Saving to reduce power consumption by adjusting screen brightness.

• Auto: The TV sensor detects ambient lighting and automatically adjusts screen brightness.

• Off/Minimum/Medium/Maximum: Turns off or applies a pre-set Energy Saving mode.

• Screen Off: The screen is turned off and only sound is played. Press any button (except Power) to turn the screen back on.

Using the TV Speaker:

Go to SETTINGS → AUDIO → Sound Out → TV Speaker. Sound is output through the TV speaker.

Using an External Speaker:

Go to SETTINGS → AUDIO → Sound Out → External Speaker (Optical). Sound is output through the speaker connected to the optical port. SimpLink is supported.

Using Digital Sound Out:

Go to SETTINGS → AUDIO → Sound Out → External Speaker (Optical) → Digital Sound Out to set up Digital Sound Out.

Using LG Sound Sync (Optical):

Go to SETTINGS → AUDIO → Sound Out → LG Sound Sync (Optical). Connect an LG audio device with the appropriate logo to the optical digital audio output port.

Using Headphones:

Go to SETTINGS → AUDIO → Sound Out → Headphone. Sound is output through the connected headphone port.

Synchronizing Audio and Video (AV Sync. Adjust):

Go to SETTINGS → AUDIO → AV Sync. Adjust to synchronize video and audio if they do not match. If you set it to ON, you can adjust the sound output to the screen image.

Using SIMPLINK:

SIMPLINK allows you to control and manage various multimedia devices with your TV remote.

1. Connect the TV’s HDMI IN terminal to the SIMPLINK device’s HDMI output terminal with an HDMI cable.

2. Select INPUT(OPTION) → SIMPLINK.

3. In the SIMPLINK Setting window, set the SIMPLINK function to ON.

4. Select the device you want to control from the SIMPLINK menu.

SIMPLINK Functions:

• Direct Play: Plays the multimedia device on the TV instantly.

• Select multimedia device: Selects the desired device via the SIMPLINK menu for control.

• Disc playback: Manages the multimedia device with the TV remote control.

• Power off all devices: When you power off the TV, all connected devices are turned off.

• Sync Power on: When a connected SIMPLINK device starts to play, the TV will automatically turn on.

• Speaker: Select the speaker on either the home theatre unit or the TV.

Setting a Password:

Go to SETTINGS → LOCK → Set Password to set or change the TV password. The initial password is set to ‘0000’.

Factory Reset:

Go to SETTINGS → OPTION → Factory Reset. All stored information is deleted and TV settings are reset. The TV will turn itself off and back on. Do not turn off the power during initialization.

Removing a USB Device:

Select Q.MENU → USB Device, then select the USB storage device you want to remove. When you see the removal message, separate the device from the TV.

USB Storage Device Warnings:

• Use only USB storage devices formatted with the FAT32 or NTFS File System.

• For external USB HDDs, it is recommended to use devices with a rated voltage of less than 5 V and a rated current of less than 500 mA.

• It is recommended to use USB memory sticks of 32 GB or less and USB HDDs of 1 TB or less.

• Data in the USB storage device can be damaged, so be sure to back up important files.

Refer to the following solutions for common problems with your LG 60LB561V-ZE.

Problem	Solution
Cannot control the TV with the remote control.	• Check the remote control sensor on the product and try again. • Check if there is any obstacle between the product and the remote control. • Check if the batteries are still working and properly installed.
No image display and no sound is produced.	• Check if the product is turned on. • Check if the power cord is connected to a wall outlet. • Check if there is a problem in the wall outlet by connecting other products.
The TV turns off suddenly.	• Check the power control settings. The power supply may be interrupted. • Check if the Automatic Standby / Sleep Timer / Off Time feature is activated in the TIME settings. • If there is no signal while the TV is on, it will turn off automatically after 15 minutes of inactivity.
When connecting to the PC (HDMI), ‘No signal’ or ‘Invalid Format’ is displayed.	• Turn the TV off/on using the remote control. • Reconnect the HDMI cable. • Restart the PC with the TV on.
