To prevent image burn-in on your LG 55LM6700-UA TV, follow these guidelines:

If a fixed image is displayed on the screen for a long period, it can become imprinted, which is known as “image burn” or “burn-in” and is not covered by the warranty.

The 3D glasses are fragile. Always use a soft, clean cloth to wipe the lenses. Do not scratch them with sharp objects or use chemicals.

To prevent scratching or damage and to ensure safe transportation, please follow these instructions:

Avoid touching the screen at all times, as this may cause damage.

It is recommended to move the TV in its original box or packing material.

Before moving or lifting, disconnect the power cord and all cables.

When holding the TV, the screen should face away from you to prevent damage.

Hold the top and bottom of the TV frame firmly. Do not hold the transparent part, speaker, or speaker grill area.

When transporting a large TV, there should be at least two people.

When transporting the TV by hand, hold it as shown in the illustrations in the manual.

Do not expose the TV to jolts or excessive vibration during transport.

Keep the TV upright; never turn it on its side or tilt it to the left or right.

1. Place the screen facing down on a cushioned table or flat surface to protect it from scratches.

2. Attach the Stand Body to the Stand Base.

3. Align the Stand Body with the mounting point on the back of the TV.

4. Insert and tighten the provided screws (M4 x 20) to secure the stand to the TV.

5. Tighten the screws firmly to prevent the TV from tilting forward.

Mounting on a Table:

1. Lift and tilt the TV into its upright position on a table.

2. Leave a minimum of 10 cm (4 inches) of space between the TV and the wall for proper ventilation.

3. Connect the power cord to a wall outlet.

Adjusting the Angle:

You can swivel the TV 10±2 degrees to the left or right to adjust the viewing angle.

Securing the TV to a Table (Depending on model):

1. Connect the Desk-mount Cables to the Stand Base using the Bracket Screws.

2. Fix the Desk-mount Cables to the table using the Desk-mount Screws.

3. Once fixed, move the table close to the wall. This helps prevent the TV from tilting or falling, which could cause injury.

To wall mount your LG 55LM6700-UA, ensure you use a wall mount bracket that meets the VESA standard. The specifications for your model are as follows:

Mounting procedure:

1. Disconnect the power first. Use an authorized LG wall mount and contact a qualified professional for installation.

2. Do not over-tighten the screws, as this may damage the TV and void your warranty.

3. Use screws and wall mounts that meet the VESA standard.

Antenna or Cable: Connect the antenna or cable line to the ANTENNA/CABLE IN port using a coaxial (75Ω) cable.

HDMI Connection (Best Quality): Use a High Speed HDMI™ Cable to connect your device to any of the HDMI IN ports. The HDMI IN 1 (ARC) port supports Audio Return Channel, which can send digital audio to a compatible device without an extra audio cable.

DVI to HDMI Connection: Use a DVI-HDMI cable to connect the DVI OUT of your external device to the HDMI IN 4 (PC) port on the TV. Connect a separate audio cable from the device’s AUDIO OUT to the TV’s (RGB/HDMI-PC) AUDIO IN port.

Component Connection: Use a component video cable (matching red, green, blue for video) and an audio cable (red, white for audio) to connect your device to the COMPONENT IN and AV IN ports.

Composite Connection: Use a composite video cable (yellow for video) and an audio cable (red, white for audio) to connect your device to the AV IN port.

PC Connection: For best image quality, use an HDMI connection (Method A). Alternatively, you can use a DVI-to-HDMI connection (Method B) or an RGB (VGA) connection (Method C), both requiring a separate audio cable.

Audio System (Optical): Use a digital optical audio cable to connect the TV’s OPTICAL DIGITAL AUDIO OUT port to your audio system’s optical input.

USB Device: Connect a USB storage device to any of the USB IN ports to access multimedia files. To store apps, use the USB IN 3 (USB Apps) port. To use a USB Hub, connect it to the USB IN 2 (USB Hub) port.

Replacing Batteries:

When the “Magic remote control battery is low. Change the battery.” message appears, open the battery cover, replace the two 1.5V AA batteries, matching the + and – ends, and close the cover.

Button Functions:

Using the Pointer:

To use the pointer, shake the Magic Remote from side to side. If the pointer disappears, move the remote slightly left or right, and it will reappear. You can move the pointer by aiming the remote at the TV and moving it left, right, up, or down.

Initial Registration:

To register the Magic Remote Control for the first time, simply press the Wheel (OK) button on the remote while pointing it at the TV.

Re-registration After Failure:

1. Press and hold the BACK and HOME buttons together for 5 seconds to reset the remote. The light on the Pointer will blink when the reset is complete.

2. After the reset, register it again by pressing the Wheel (OK) button.

Alternatively, to re-register, you can press and hold the BACK button for 5 seconds while pointing it toward the TV. The light on the Pointer will blink when complete.

1. Connect the power cord to a power outlet.

2. In Standby mode, press the power button on the remote control to turn on the TV. The Initial Setting screen will appear.

3. Follow the on-screen instructions to customize your settings:

Language Selection: Select a language to display.

Using the Magic remote control: Sets up the Magic remote control.

Environment Selection: Select Home for the home environment. The Store mode is for retail demonstration.

Time Zone Setting: Select your time zone and daylight saving options.

Network Connection: Set up your network to enable network-related features.

Auto Tuning: Scans and saves available channels automatically.

Auto Energy Saving mode Setting: Selects the Auto Energy Saving mode.

3D-On-Start Setting: Selects the 3D-On-Start option (For 3D TV).

Setting is completed: Confirms the setting options.

4. When the basic settings are complete, press the Wheel (OK) button.

5. To turn the TV off, press the power button on the remote control.

2. Select User Guide and press the Wheel (OK) button.

You can see the current channel and select different categories and items to view.

Use the up/down navigation buttons to move between pages of a description.

Select “Try Now” to move directly to the menu screen being described.

Use the “Zoom In / Zoom Out” option to change the text size.

Clean your TV regularly to maintain the best performance and extend its lifespan.

General Cleaning:

1. Make sure to turn the power off and disconnect the power cord and all other cables first.

2. To remove dust or light dirt from the screen, frame, cabinet, and stand, wipe the surface with a dry, clean, and soft cloth.

3. To remove major dirt, wipe the surface with a soft cloth dampened in clean water or a diluted mild detergent. Then wipe immediately with a dry cloth.

CAUTIONS:

Do not push, rub, or hit the surface with your fingernail or a sharp object, as this may result in scratches and image distortions.
