• If the aspect ratio of the TV is set to 4:3 for a long period, image burn may occur on the letterboxed area of the screen.

Please follow these recommendations when viewing 3D content on your LG 55LM6700 TV:

Viewing Environment and Time:

• When watching 3D content, take a 5-15 minute break every hour. Viewing for long periods may cause headache, dizziness, fatigue, or eye strain.

• Maintain a distance of at least twice the screen’s diagonal length.

Viewing Age:

• Infants/Children: Viewing 3D content for children under the age of 5 is prohibited. Children under 10 may overreact and require special monitoring.

• Teenagers: Teenagers under the age of 19 may be sensitive to light from 3D videos. Advise them not to watch 3D videos for a long time when they are tired.

• Elderly: The elderly may perceive less of a 3D effect. Do not sit closer than the recommended distance.

Health Conditions:

• Do not watch 3D videos if you feel nausea, are pregnant, or have a chronic illness such as epilepsy, cardiac disorder, or blood pressure disease.

• Some users may experience a seizure or other abnormal symptoms when exposed to flashing lights or patterns from 3D content.

• 3D content is not recommended for those with stereo blindness or stereo anomaly.

Symptoms Requiring Discontinuation:

• If you experience fatigue from lack of sleep, overwork, or drinking, do not watch 3D content.

• If you experience symptoms such as headache, eyeball pain, dizziness, nausea, palpitation, blurriness, or discomfort, stop watching and rest until the symptoms subside. Consult a doctor if symptoms persist.

• Make sure to use LG 3D glasses. Otherwise, you may not be able to view 3D videos properly.

• Do not use 3D glasses in place of your normal glasses, sunglasses, or protective goggles.

• Do not keep your 3D glasses in extremely high or low temperatures, as it will cause deformation.

• The 3D glasses are fragile and easily scratched. Always use a soft, clean cloth when wiping the lenses. Do not scratch the lenses with sharp objects or clean them with chemicals.

3. Connect an external device to the TV set.

4. Make sure the network connection is available. You can use the TV network functions only when the network connection is made.

To prevent scratches or damage when moving or lifting your LG 55LM6700 TV, please follow these guidelines:

• Avoid touching the screen at all times, as this may result in damage.

• Before moving or lifting the TV, disconnect the power cord and all cables.

• When holding the TV, the screen should face away from you to avoid damage.

• When transporting a large TV, there should be at least 2 people.

• Hold the top and bottom of the TV frame firmly. Do not hold the transparent part, speaker, or speaker grill area.

• Keep the TV upright during transport; never turn the TV on its side or tilt it.

To attach the stand, place the screen facing down on a cushioned table or flat surface to protect it from scratches. Follow the assembly diagrams provided in the manual to connect the stand body and stand base, and then secure the assembled stand to the back of the TV using the four provided M4 x 20 screws. Tighten the screws firmly to prevent the TV from tilting forward.

1. Lift and tilt the TV into its upright position on a table.

2. Leave a minimum of 10 cm (4 inches) of space between the TV and the wall for proper ventilation.

3. Connect the power cord to a wall outlet.

To adjust the viewing angle, you can swivel the TV 10±2 degrees to the left or right. When adjusting, watch out for your fingers to prevent them from being pinched.

When using a wall mount, ensure it meets the VESA standard. The specifications for the LG 55LM6700 TV are:

1. Gather and bind the cables with the provided cable holder.

2. Fix the cable management clip firmly to the TV to keep the cables tidy and organized.

CAUTION: Do not move the TV by holding the cable holder, as it may break and cause injury or damage to the TV.

HDMI transmits digital video and audio signals for the best connection quality.

1. Choose any available HDMI IN port on the TV.

2. Connect one end of an HDMI cable to the HDMI output port of your external device (e.g., Blu-Ray player, HD cable box).

3. Connect the other end of the HDMI cable to the selected HDMI IN port on your TV.

For best results, use a High Speed HDMI™ Cable with CEC (Customer Electronics Control) function.

ARC (Audio Return Channel) allows digital audio to be sent from your TV to a compatible audio device (like a soundbar or AV receiver) through the same high-speed HDMI cable that is sending video to the TV. This eliminates the need for a separate optical audio cable.

On your LG 55LM6700 TV, ARC is only supported on the HDMI IN 1 (ARC) port. To use this feature, your external audio device must also support ARC and be connected to this specific port.

You can connect a PC to your LG 55LM6700 TV using one of the following methods:

• Method A: HDMI Connection (Recommended)

Connect an HDMI cable from your PC’s HDMI output to any HDMI IN port on the TV. For DVI-to-HDMI connections, it is recommended to use the HDMI IN 4 port.

• Method B: DVI to HDMI Connection

Connect a DVI-to-HDMI cable from your PC’s DVI output to the HDMI IN 4 (PC) port on the TV. You will also need to connect a separate audio cable from your PC’s audio out to the (RGB/HDMI-PC) AUDIO IN port on the TV.

• Method C: RGB Connection

Connect an RGB (VGA) cable from your PC’s RGB output to the RGB IN (PC) port on the TV. Connect a separate audio cable from your PC’s audio out to the (RGB/HDMI-PC) AUDIO IN port on the TV.

You can connect an optional external audio system instead of using the built-in speakers. To do so, transmit a digital audio signal from the TV to your external device using an optical audio cable.

1. Connect one end of the optical audio cable to the OPTICAL DIGITAL AUDIO OUT port on the back of the TV.

2. Connect the other end of the cable to the optical audio input on your external audio system (e.g., soundbar, home theater receiver).

Note: If you use an external audio device, set the TV speaker feature to Off in the TV’s audio settings. Do not look directly into the optical output port, as the laser beam may damage your vision.

Connect a USB storage device such as a USB flash drive, external hard drive, or USB memory card reader to one of the USB IN ports on the TV to access the Smart Share menu and use various multimedia files.

Your LG 55LM6700 TV has specific USB ports for different functions:

• USB IN 1 (HDD IN): For connecting external hard drives.

• USB IN 2 (USB Hub): For connecting a USB Hub device.

• USB IN 3 (USB Apps): To store apps on a connected USB storage device, you must use this port.

Some USB Hubs may not work. If a USB device connected through a hub is not detected, connect it directly to a USB port on the TV.

How to register the Magic Remote Control:

To register the remote control for the first time, simply press the Wheel (OK) button while pointing it at the TV.

How to Re-register after a Registration Failure:

1. Press and hold the BACK and HOME buttons together for 5 seconds to reset the remote. The light on the Pointer will blink when the reset is complete.

2. After the reset, press the Wheel (OK) button to re-register it with the TV.

When you turn the TV on for the first time, the Initial Setting screen will appear to guide you.

1. Connect the power cord to a power outlet.

2. In Standby mode, press the power button on the remote control to turn the TV on.

3. Follow the on-screen instructions to customize your settings:

• Language Selection: Select a display language.

• Using the Magic remote control: Sets up the Magic remote.

• Environment Selection: Select Home for the home environment. (Selecting Store puts the TV in demo mode).

• Time Zone Setting: Select your time zone.

4. When the basic settings are complete, press the Wheel (OK) button.

The User Guide allows you to access detailed information about your TV’s features.

1. Press the HOME button on the remote to access the HOME menu.

2. Select User Guide and press the Wheel (OK) button.

Once in the User Guide, you can:

• Select a category to browse.

• Select an item to view its description.

• Use the up/down navigation buttons to move between pages.

• Select “Try Now” to move directly to the corresponding menu screen.

• Zoom in or out for better readability.

If you cannot control the TV with the remote control, try the following solutions:

• Check the remote control sensor on the product and try again.

• Check if there is any obstacle between the product and the remote control.

• Check if the batteries are still working and are properly installed (+ to +, – to -).

If no image or sound is produced, please check the following:

• Check if the product is turned on.

• Do not place flat panel displays on furniture that can easily be used as steps, such as a chest of drawers.
