To attach the stand to your LG 55LB561V-ZC, please follow these steps. Note that the image shown in the manual may differ from your TV, and there are different stand types for different model series.

Step 1. Place the TV screen facing down on a cushioned table or flat surface to protect the screen from scratches.

Step 2. Assemble the stand base parts (labeled A Stand Base and B Stand Base in the manual).

Step 3. Align the assembled stand with the mounting holes on the back of the TV.

Step 4. Secure the stand to the TV using the provided screws. Depending on your specific model, you will use either M4 x L14 or M4 x L20 screws. Four screws (4EA) are typically required.

Antenna Connection:

Connect the TV to a wall antenna socket with an RF cable (75 Ω). Plug the cable into the “ANTENNA / CABLE IN” port on the back of the TV.

• If you want to use more than 2 TVs, use a signal splitter.

• If the image quality is poor, install a signal amplifier.

• If image quality is poor with an antenna connected, try to realign the antenna.

• An antenna cable and converter are not supplied.

Satellite Dish Connection (Only for satellite models):

Connect the TV to a satellite dish to a satellite socket with a satellite RF cable (75 Ω). Plug the cable into the “LNB Satellite IN” port on the back of the TV.

The Euro Scart connection transmits video and audio signals from an external device to your LG 55LB561V-ZC TV. Connect the external device and the TV with a Euro Scart cable. Any Euro Scart cable used must be signal shielded. The AV1 port functions as a TV Out, and the output type depends on the current input mode:

Your LG 55LB561V-ZC supports various connections for external devices such as HD receivers, DVD/Blu-Ray players, VCRs, audio systems, USB storage devices, PCs, and gaming devices. Available ports may include:

• HDMI IN: For the best picture and audio quality, connect external devices like Blu-Ray players, HD set-top boxes, or PCs using an HDMI cable. Some models have an HDMI 2 port that supports MHL.

• USB IN: Connect USB storage devices.

• COMPONENT IN / AV IN: Connect devices like DVD players or VCRs using component (Y, Pb, Pr) and audio (L, R) cables, or composite (AV) cables.

• OPTICAL DIGITAL AUDIO OUT: Connect to a digital audio system for higher quality sound.

• Headphone Out (H/P OUT): Connect headphones.

• PCMCIA CARD SLOT: For CI Modules.

• LAN: For network connection (Only on LAN port models).

Note on connecting external devices:

• Connect external devices to the TV regardless of the order of the TV port.

• If you record a TV program on a DVD recorder or VCR, ensure the TV signal input cable is connected to the TV through the recorder.

• In PC mode, noise may be associated with resolution, vertical pattern, contrast, or brightness. If noise is present, change the PC output to another resolution, change the refresh rate, or adjust the brightness and contrast on the PICTURE menu until the picture is clear.

The Joystick button, located below the TV screen, allows you to operate basic TV functions by pressing or moving it up, down, left, or right.

Basic Functions:

• Power On: When the TV is off, press the joystick button once and release it.

• Power Off: When the TV is on, press and hold the joystick button for a few seconds and release it. (If the Menu is on screen, this action will exit the menu).

• Volume Control: Move the joystick left or right to adjust the volume.

• Programmes Control: Move the joystick up or down to scroll through saved programmes.

Adjusting the Menu:

When the TV is on, press the joystick button once to bring up the menu. You can then adjust menu items by moving the joystick.

• TV off: Turns the power off.

• Settings: Accesses the main menu.

• Close: Clears on-screen displays and returns to TV viewing.

• Input List: Changes the input source.

To prevent your LG 55LB561V-ZC from being scratched or damaged and for safe transportation, please follow this advice:

• Avoid touching the screen at all times, as this may result in damage.

• It is recommended to move the TV in the box or packing material it originally came in.

• Before moving or lifting, disconnect the power cord and all cables.

To automatically tune the programmes on your LG 55LB561V-ZC, go to SETTINGS > SETUP > Auto Tuning. This function will automatically find and store all available programmes. Please note:

• If the Input Source is not connected properly, programme registration may not work.

• Auto Tuning only finds programmes that are currently broadcasting.

• If the Lock System is turned on, a pop-up window will appear asking for the password.

You can select the picture mode optimized for your viewing environment or programme by going to SETTINGS > PICTURE > Picture Mode. The available modes are:

• Vivid: Heightens contrast, brightness, and sharpness to display vivid images.

• Standard: Displays images in standard levels of contrast, brightness, and sharpness.

• Eco/APS: The Energy Saver feature changes settings on the TV to reduce power consumption.

• Cinema/Game: Displays the optimum picture for movies or games.

• Sports: Optimizes the video image for high and dynamic actions by emphasizing primary colours such as white, grass, or sky blue.

• Expert 1, 2: A menu for adjusting picture quality that allows experts and amateurs to enjoy the best TV viewing. This is the adjustment menu provided for ISF-certified picture tuning professionals.

To reduce power consumption on your LG 55LB561V-ZC, you can use the Energy Saving feature by navigating to SETTINGS > PICTURE > Energy Saving. This feature reduces power consumption by adjusting screen brightness.

• Auto (Depending on model): The TV sensor detects the ambient lighting and automatically adjusts the screen brightness.

• Off: Turns off the Energy Saving mode.

• Minimum / Medium / Maximum: Applies the pre-set Energy Saving mode.

• Screen Off: The screen is turned off and only sound is played. Press any button except the Power button on the remote control to turn the screen back on.

SIMPLINK is a feature that enables you to control and manage various multimedia devices conveniently via the SIMPLINK menu using your TV remote. This function is only compatible with devices with the SIMPLINK logo.

To set up SIMPLINK:

Step 1. Connect the TV’s HDMI IN terminal and the SIMPLINK device’s HDMI output terminal using a high-speed HDMI® cable (with CEC feature added).

Step 2. Select INPUT(OPTION) > SIMPLINK. The SIMPLINK menu window will appear.

Step 3. In the SIMPLINK Setting window, set the SIMPLINK function to ON.

Step 4. In the SIMPLINK menu window, select the device you want to control.

SIMPLINK Functions:

• Direct Play: Plays the multimedia device on the TV instantly.

• Select multimedia device: Selects the desired device via the SIMPLINK menu to control it from the TV screen instantly.

• Disc playback: Manages the multimedia device with the TV remote control.

• Power off all devices: When you power off the TV, all connected devices are turned off.

• Sync Power on: When the equipment with SIMPLINK function connected to an HDMI terminal starts to play, the TV will automatically turn on.

• Speaker: Select the speaker either on the home theatre unit or the TV.

To return your LG 55LB561V-ZC to its factory default settings, navigate to SETTINGS > OPTION > Factory Reset. This will delete all stored information and reset all TV settings. The TV will turn itself off and back on, and all settings will be reset.

• If the Lock System is in place, a pop-up window will appear asking for the password.

• Do not turn off the power during initialization.

When using a USB storage device with your LG 55LB561V-ZC, please follow these warnings:

• If the USB device has a built-in auto recognition program or uses its own driver, it may not work.

• Use only USB storage devices formatted with the Windows FAT32 or NTFS File System.

• For external USB HDDs, it is recommended to use devices with a rated voltage of less than 5 V and a rated current of less than 500 mA.

• It is recommended to use USB memory sticks of 32 GB or less and USB HDDs of 1 TB or less.

• If a USB HDD with a power-saving function does not work properly, turn the power off and on.

• Data in the USB storage device can be damaged, so be sure to back up important files to other devices. Data maintenance is the user’s responsibility.

To remove a USB device, select it from Q.MENU > USB Device. When you see a message that the USB device has been removed, you can safely separate it from the TV.

Your LG 55LB561V-ZC supports playback of various video formats from a USB device, with a maximum data transfer rate of 20 Mbps and a maximum resolution of 1920 x 1080 @ 30p.

Supported Video Formats: .asf, .wmv, .divx, .avi, .ts, .trp, .tp, .mts, .m2ts, .vob, .mp4, .m4v, .mov, .mkv, motion JPEG, .mpg, .mpeg, .mpe, .dat, .flv, .rm, .rmvb, 3gp, 3gp2.

External Supported Subtitle Formats: *.srt (SubRip), *.smi (SAMI), *.sub (SubViewer, MicroDVD, DVDsubtitleSystem, SubIdx(Vobsub)), *.ass/*.ssa (SubStation Alpha), *.txt (TMplayer), *.psb (PowerDivX).

Internal Supported Subtitle Formats: XSUB (Supports internal subtitles generated from DivX6).

Clean your TV regularly to keep it in the best condition. Before you begin, make sure to turn the power off and disconnect the power cord and all other cables.

Screen, frame, cabinet and stand:

• To remove dust or light dirt, wipe the surface with a dry, clean, and soft cloth.

• To remove major dirt, wipe the surface with a soft cloth dampened in clean water or a diluted mild detergent. Then wipe immediately with a dry cloth.

Cleaning Cautions:

• Avoid touching the screen at all times, as this may damage it.

Power cord:

Remove the accumulated dust or dirt on the power cord regularly.

If you cannot control the TV with the remote, please try the following solutions:

• Check the remote control sensor on the product and try again.

• Check if there is any obstacle between the product and the remote control.

• Check if the batteries are still working and properly installed (positive to positive, negative to negative).

If you have no image or sound, please check the following:

• Check if the product is turned on.

• Check if the power cord is connected to a wall outlet.

• Check if there is a problem in the wall outlet by connecting other products.

If your TV turns off suddenly, here are some possible causes and solutions:

• Check the power control settings. The power supply may be interrupted.

• Check if the Automatic Standby, Sleep Timer, or Off Time feature is activated in the TIME settings.

• If there is no signal while the TV is on, it will turn off automatically after 15 minutes of inactivity.

If you see a ‘No signal’ or ‘Invalid Format’ message when connected to a PC, try these steps:

• Turn the TV off and on again using the remote control.

• Reconnect the HDMI cable.

• Restart the PC with the TV on.
