• Keep the packing anti-moisture material or vinyl packing out of the reach of children. Anti-moisture material is harmful if swallowed. Vinyl packing can cause suffocation.

• When moving, make sure the product is turned off, unplugged, and all cables have been removed. It may take 2 or more people to carry larger TVs. Do not press or put stress on the front panel of the TV.

• Hold the top and bottom of the TV frame firmly. Do not hold the transparent part, speaker, or speaker grill area.

• Keep the TV upright; never turn it on its side or tilt it towards the left or right.

1. Place the screen facing down on a cushioned table or flat surface to protect the screen from scratches.

2. Attach the Stand Body to the TV set using the four provided M4 x 20 screws.

3. Attach the Stand Base to the Stand Body.

4. Secure the Stand Base to the Stand Body using the four remaining M4 x 20 screws.

5. Tighten the screws firmly to prevent the TV from tilting forward.

Placing the TV:

1. Lift and tilt the TV into its upright position on a table.

2. Leave a 10 cm (4 inches) minimum space from the wall for proper ventilation.

3. You can swivel the TV 10±2 degrees to the left or right to adjust the angle to suit your view.

Securing the TV to a table (Depending on model):

To prevent the TV from tilting forward, damage, and potential injury, you can fix it to a table.

1. Connect the Desk-mount Cables to the Stand Base using the Bracket Screws (M4 x 8).

2. Fix the Desk-mount Cables to the table using the Desk-mount Screws.

3. Once the TV is fixed, move the table close to the wall.

To wall mount your LG 47LM6400 TV, make sure to use a wall mount bracket that meets the VESA standard. LG recommends that wall mounting be performed by a qualified professional installer.

HDMI is the best way to connect a device as it transmits digital video and audio signals. You can choose any HDMI input port to connect.

1. Connect one end of an HDMI cable to the HDMI OUT port on your external device (e.g., DVD/Blu-Ray player, HD Cable Box).

2. Connect the other end of the HDMI cable to one of the HDMI IN ports on the back of your LG 47LM6400 TV.

Note on ARC (Audio Return Channel): If you have an external audio device that supports ARC, connect it to the HDMI IN 1 (ARC) port. This allows digital audio to be sent to the device through the same HDMI cable without needing an additional optical audio cable.

Method A: HDMI Connection (Recommended)

1. Connect a DVI-to-HDMI cable from the DVI OUT port on your PC to the HDMI IN 4 (PC) port on the TV.

2. For audio, connect a separate audio cable from your PC’s AUDIO OUT port to the (RGB/HDMI-PC) AUDIO IN port on the TV.

Method C: RGB Connection

1. Connect an RGB (VGA) cable from the RGB OUT (PC) port on your PC to the RGB IN (PC) port on the TV.

2. For audio, connect an audio cable from your PC’s AUDIO OUT port to the (RGB/HDMI-PC) AUDIO IN port on the TV.

Connect a USB storage device such as a USB flash memory, external hard drive, or USB memory card reader to the TV to access the Smart Share menu and use various multimedia files.

1. Choose any available USB IN port on the side of the TV.

2. Plug your USB device directly into the port.

Notes:

• To store apps on a USB device, make sure it is connected to the USB IN 3 USB Apps port.

• To use a USB Hub, connect it to the USB IN 2 USB Hub port.

• Some USB Hubs may not work. If a USB device connected via a Hub is not detected, connect it directly to the TV’s USB port.

To register the Magic Remote Control:

• Press the Wheel (OK) button on the remote control. The remote will pair with your TV.

To re-register after a registration failure:

1. Press and hold the BACK and HOME buttons together for 5 seconds to reset the remote. The light on the Pointer will blink when the reset is complete.

2. After the reset, register it again by pressing the Wheel (OK) button.

Alternatively, to re-register, you can press and hold the BACK button for 5 seconds while pointing it toward the TV. The light on the Pointer will blink when the reset is complete.

When you turn the TV on for the first time, the Initial Setting screen appears. Follow these steps to customize the basic settings:

1. Connect the power cord to a power outlet.

2. In Standby mode, press the power button on the remote control to turn the TV on.

3. Follow the on-screen instructions to customize your TV settings according to your preferences:
