• Do not overload wall outlets or connect too many appliances to the same AC power outlet.

• Unplug this apparatus during lightning storms or when unused for long periods of time.

• Never touch this apparatus or antenna during a thunder or lightning storm.

• Ensure you connect the earth ground wire to prevent possible electric shock (for models with a three-prong grounded AC plug).

• The Mains plug is the disconnecting device and must remain readily operable.

Usage:

• Clean only with a dry cloth.

• Only use attachments/accessories specified by the manufacturer.

• Do not allow an impact shock or any objects to fall into the product, and do not drop anything onto the screen.

• Do not press strongly upon the panel with your hand or a sharp object such as a nail, pencil, or pen, or make a scratch on it.

• Do not touch the TV with wet hands.

Servicing:

• Refer all servicing to qualified service personnel. Servicing is required if the apparatus has been damaged in any way.

• Do not attempt to modify this product in any way without written authorization from LG Electronics.

If a fixed image is displayed on the screen of your LG 47LM6200-UE for a long period, it can become permanently imprinted on the screen. This is known as “image burn” or “burn-in” and is not covered by the warranty. To prevent this, follow these guidelines:

• Avoid displaying a fixed image on the TV screen for a long period of time (2 or more hours for LCD TVs).

• If the aspect ratio of the TV is set to 4:3 for a long time, image burn may occur on the letterboxed area of the screen.

Viewing Environment:

• Viewing Time: When watching 3D content, take a 5 to 15-minute break every hour. Viewing 3D for a long period may cause headache, dizziness, fatigue, or eye strain.

• Viewing Distance: Maintain a distance of at least twice the screen diagonal length when watching 3D content. If you feel discomfort, move further away from the TV.

Viewing Age:

• Infants/Children: Viewing 3D content for children under the age of 5 is prohibited. Children under 10 may overreact, and special monitoring is required.

• Teenagers: Teenagers under 19 may be stimulated by light from 3D videos. Advise them not to watch 3D videos for a long time when they are tired.

• Elderly: The elderly may perceive less of a 3D effect. Do not sit closer to the TV than the recommended distance.

Health Considerations:

• Do not watch 3D videos if you feel nausea, are pregnant, or have a chronic illness such as epilepsy, cardiac disorder, or blood pressure disease.

• Some users may experience a seizure or other abnormal symptoms when exposed to flashing lights or patterns from 3D content.

• 3D content is not recommended for those who suffer from stereo blindness or stereo anomaly.

• If your eyesight varies between your right and left eye, revise your eyesight prior to watching 3D content.

When to Discontinue Viewing:

• Stop watching 3D content if you feel fatigue from lack of sleep, overwork, or drinking.

• If you experience symptoms like headache, eyeball pain, dizziness, nausea, palpitation, blurriness, or discomfort, stop watching and rest until the symptoms subside. Consult a doctor if symptoms persist.

• Make sure to use LG 3D glasses. You may not be able to view 3D videos properly otherwise.

• Do not use 3D glasses in place of your normal glasses, sunglasses, or protective goggles.

• Do not keep your 3D glasses in extremely high or low temperatures, as it will cause deformation.

• The 3D glasses are fragile and can be easily scratched. Always use a soft, clean cloth when wiping the lenses. Do not scratch the lenses with sharp objects or clean them with chemicals.

1. Open the package and ensure all accessories are included.

2. Attach the stand to the TV set.

3. Connect an external device to the TV set.

4. Make sure a network connection is available. TV network functions can only be used when a network connection is made.

The LG 47LM6200-UE features touch-sensitive buttons. You can operate them with a simple touch of your finger. Below are the functions of each button:

The TV also features an Intelligent sensor that adjusts the image quality and brightness based on the surrounding environment.

To prevent scratches or damage when moving or lifting your LG 47LM6200-UE, please follow these guidelines:

• CAUTION: Avoid touching the screen at all times, as this may result in damage to the screen.

• It is recommended to move the TV in the original box or packing material.

• Before moving or lifting, disconnect the power cord and all cables.

• When holding the TV, the screen should face away from you to avoid damage.

• When transporting a large TV, there should be at least 2 people.

• When transporting by hand, hold the TV by firmly grasping the top and bottom of the TV frame. Do not hold the transparent part, speaker, or speaker grill area.

• Keep the TV upright during transport. Never turn the TV on its side or tilt it towards the left or right.

• Do not expose the TV to jolts or excessive vibration.

1. Place the screen facing down on a cushioned table or flat surface to protect the screen from scratches.

2. Assemble the Stand Body and Stand Base.

3. Attach the assembled stand to the TV set.

4. Use the provided screws (M4 x 20) to secure the stand to the TV. Tighten the screws firmly to prevent the TV from tilting forward.

Mounting on a table:

1. Lift and tilt the TV into its upright position on a table.

2. Leave a minimum of 10 cm (4 inches) of space from the wall for proper ventilation.

3. Connect the power cord to a wall outlet.

Adjusting the angle:

You can swivel the TV 10±2 degrees to the left or right to adjust the angle to suit your view. When adjusting, watch out for your fingers to prevent them from being pinched.

Securing the TV to a table (Depending on model):

To prevent the TV from tilting forward, which could cause damage or injury, you can secure it to the table.

1. Connect the Desk-mount Cables to the Stand Base using the Bracket Screws (M4 x 8, 2 EA).

2. Fix the Desk-mount Cables to the table using the Desk-mount Screws (2 EA).

3. Once fixed, move the table close to the wall.

LG recommends that wall mounting be performed by a qualified professional installer. Use a wall mount bracket that meets the VESA standard.

VESA Specifications for LG 47LM6200-UE:

Safety Cautions:

• Disconnect the power first before moving or installing the TV.

• If you install the TV on a ceiling or slanted wall, it may fall and result in severe injury. Use an authorized LG wall mount.

• Do not over-tighten the screws, as this may cause damage to the TV and void your warranty.

• Use screws and wall mounts that meet the VESA standard. Any damages or injuries from misuse or using an improper accessory are not covered by the warranty.

1. Gather and bind the cables together with the provided cable holder.

2. Fix the cable management clip firmly to the TV to keep the cables tidy.

CAUTION: Do not move the TV by holding the cable holder, as the holder may break, potentially causing injuries and damage to the TV.

Connect an antenna, cable, or cable box to watch TV by connecting a coaxial cable (75Ω) to the ANTENNA / CABLE IN port on the back of the TV. Make sure not to bend the copper wire of the RF cable.

Note: Complete all connections between devices before connecting the power cord to the power outlet to prevent damage to your TV.

HDMI is the best way to connect a device as it transmits digital video and audio signals. Connect your external device (e.g., Blu-Ray player, HD Cable Box) to any of the HDMI IN ports on the TV using an HDMI cable.

Notes:

• Use a High Speed HDMI™ Cable for best results, especially those with CEC (Customer Electronics Control) function.

• ARC (Audio Return Channel): If you want to send digital audio from the TV to a compatible audio device without an extra optical cable, connect the device to the HDMI IN 1 (ARC) port using a high-speed HDMI cable. The external audio device must also support ARC.

• For connecting a PC, it is recommended to use the HDMI IN 4 (PC) port.

To transmit a digital video signal from a device with a DVI output, use a DVI-to-HDMI cable to connect the device’s DVI OUT port to the HDMI IN 4 (PC) port on the TV. Since DVI does not carry audio, you must also connect a separate audio cable from the device’s AUDIO OUT port to the (RGB/HDMI-PC) AUDIO IN port on the TV.

Component Connection:

This connection transmits analog video and audio signals. Use the provided green component video cable adapter and the provided yellow composite video cable adapter.

1. Connect the green, blue, and red plugs from your device to the corresponding Y, PB, PR jacks on the green adapter cable. Connect the white and red audio plugs to the corresponding L and R audio jacks on the yellow adapter cable.

2. Plug the green adapter into the green COMPONENT IN port on the TV. Plug the yellow adapter into the yellow AV IN port on the TV.

3. Check to ensure each cable is matched with the corresponding color connection to avoid a black and white or distorted picture.

Composite Connection:

This connection also transmits analog video and audio signals. Use the provided yellow composite video cable adapter.

1. Connect the yellow, white, and red plugs from your device (e.g., VCR, DVD player) to the corresponding video and audio jacks on the adapter cable.

2. Plug the adapter into the yellow AV IN port on the TV.

3. Ensure each cable is matched with its corresponding color.

Connect a USB storage device such as a USB flash memory, external hard drive, or USB memory card reader to one of the USB IN ports on the TV. You can then access the Smart Share menu to use various multimedia files.

Port Information:

• USB IN 3 (USB Apps): To store apps on a USB storage device, connect it to this port.

• USB IN 2 (USB Hub): To use a USB Hub device, connect it to this port.

• USB IN 1 (HDD IN): Suitable for connecting external hard drives.

Note: Some USB Hubs may not work. If a USB device connected through a hub is not detected, connect it directly to a USB port on the TV.

Remote Functions:

• Pointer: Blinks when operating. Aim at the TV and move to control the on-screen pointer.

• POWER: Turns the TV on or off.

• BACK: Returns to the previous level.

• HOME: Accesses the Home menu.

• Wheel (OK): Selects menus or options and confirms input. Scrolls through saved channels.

• Navigation buttons (up/down/left/right): Scrolls through menus or options.

• VOL +/-: Adjusts the volume level.

• CH ∧/∨: Scrolls through the saved channels.

• (MUTE): Mutes all sounds.

• 3D: Used for viewing 3D video.

• MY APPS: Shows the list of Apps.

• Q.MENU: Accesses the quick menu.

Using the Pointer:

If the on-screen pointer disappears, shake the Magic Remote from side to side to make it reappear. If you press a navigation button while moving the pointer, the pointer will disappear, and the remote will function as a standard remote. To restore the pointer, shake the remote.

Replacing Batteries:

When the message “Magic remote control battery is low. Change the battery.” is displayed, replace the batteries. Open the battery cover, replace the two 1.5V AA batteries, matching the (+) and (-) ends, and close the cover.

The Magic Remote Control operates by pairing with your TV.

How to Register:

To register the remote control for the first time, simply press the Wheel (OK) button while pointing the remote at the TV.

How to Re-register after a Failure:

1. To reset the remote, press and hold the BACK and HOME buttons together for 5 seconds. The light on the pointer will blink when the reset is complete.

2. After resetting, register it again by pressing the Wheel (OK) button.

Alternatively, to re-register, you can press and hold the BACK button for 5 seconds while pointing it toward the TV.

When you turn the TV on for the first time, the Initial Setting screen appears.

1. Connect the power cord to a power outlet.

2. In Standby mode, press the power button on the remote control to turn the TV on.

3. Follow the on-screen instructions to customize your TV settings according to your preferences. The setup process includes:

• Language Selection: Selects a language to display.

• Using the Magic remote control: Sets up the Magic remote.

• Environment Selection: Select Home for the home environment. (Store mode puts the TV in a demo mode).

• Time Zone Setting: Selects the time zone and daylight saving.

• Network Connection: Sets up your network to enable network-related features.

• Auto Tuning: Scans and saves available channels automatically.

• Auto Energy Saving mode Setting: Selects the Auto Energy Saving mode.

• 3D-On-Start Setting: Selects the 3D-On-Start option.

• Setting is completed: Confirms the setting options.

4. When the basic settings are complete, press the Wheel (OK) button.

5. To turn the TV off, press the power button on the remote control.

The User Guide allows you to access detailed TV information more easily.

1. Press the HOME button on your remote to access the HOME menu.

2. Select User Guide and press the Wheel (OK) button.

Inside the User Guide:

• The main screen shows a description of the selected menu. You can use ∧/∨ to move between pages.

• You can select “Try Now” to move directly to the selected menu from the User Guide.

• You can Zoom in or out of the screen for better readability.

Clean your TV regularly to keep it in the best condition and extend its lifespan.

CAUTION: First, make sure to turn the power off and disconnect the power cord and all other cables.

Screen, frame, cabinet and stand:

• For dust or light dirt: Wipe the surface with a dry, clean, and soft cloth.

• For major dirt: Wipe the surface with a soft cloth dampened in clean water or a diluted mild detergent. Then, immediately wipe with a dry cloth.

• CAUTION: Do not push, rub, or hit the surface with your fingernail or a sharp object. Do not use chemicals like waxes, benzene, alcohol, thinners, insecticides, air fresheners, or lubricants. Do not spray liquid directly onto the surface.

Power cord:

Remove any accumulated dust or dirt on the power cord regularly.

To ensure the safety of children around your new flat panel display, please follow these recommendations:

• Follow the manufacturer’s recommendations for safe installation and use of your display.

• Do not allow children to climb on or play with furniture and television sets.

• Do not place the display on furniture that can easily be used as steps, such as a chest of drawers.

• Place or install the display where it cannot be pushed, pulled over, or knocked down.

• Route all cords and cables so they cannot be pulled or grabbed by curious children.

• Use a mount that has been recommended by the display manufacturer and/or listed by an independent laboratory (such as UL, CSA, ETL).

• Follow all instructions supplied by the display and wall mount manufacturers.

• If you have any doubts about your ability to safely install your flat panel display, contact your retailer about professional installation.

• Make sure that the wall where you are mounting the display is appropriate. Some wall mounts are not designed to be mounted to walls with steel studs or old cinder block construction. If you are unsure, contact a professional installer.

• A minimum of two people are required for installation. Flat panel displays can be heavy.
