To attach the stand to your LG 47LB561V-ZE, please follow these steps. Always place the screen facing down on a cushioned table or flat surface to protect it from scratches.

1. Attach the Stand Base (Part A) to the Stand Base (Part B).

2. Secure the stand to the TV using the provided screws. For the 32-inch models (32LB55, 32LB56-ZE/ZC, 32LB62-ZA/ZB), use four M4 x L20 screws. For all other models in this series, use four M4 x L14 screws.

To attach the stand to your LG 47LB561V-ZE, please follow these steps. Always place the screen facing down on a cushioned table or flat surface to protect it from scratches.

1. Attach the Stand Base (Part A) to the Stand Base (Part B).

2. Secure the stand to the TV using the provided screws. For the 32-inch models (32LB56-ZT/ZQ, 32LB62-ZE), use four M4 x L20 screws. For all other models in this series, use four M4 x L14 screws.

Connect the TV to a wall antenna socket with an RF cable (75 Ω).

Notes:

• Use a signal splitter if you need to connect more than 2 TVs.

• If the image quality is poor, install a signal amplifier to improve it.

• If the image quality is poor with an antenna connected, try realigning the antenna in the correct direction.

• An antenna cable and converter are not supplied.

• The supported DTV Audio formats are MPEG, Dolby Digital, Dolby Digital Plus, and HE-AAC.

For satellite models, connect the LG 47LB561V-ZE to a satellite dish to a satellite socket using a satellite RF cable (75 Ω). The port is labeled “LNB Satellite IN”.

The Euro Scart connection transmits video and audio signals from an external device to your LG 47LB561V-ZE TV set. Connect the external device and the TV with a Euro Scart cable. Ensure any Euro Scart cable used is signal shielded. The table below shows the output type based on the current input mode:

Note: TV Out outputs Analogue TV or Digital TV signals.

You can connect various external devices such as HD receivers, DVD players, VCRs, audio systems, USB storage devices, PCs, and gaming devices to your LG 47LB561V-ZE.

• For the best picture and audio quality, connect the external device and the TV with an HDMI cable.

• Connect external devices to the TV regardless of the order of the TV port.

• If you record a TV programme on a DVD recorder or VCR, ensure the TV signal input cable is connected to the TV through the recorder.

• When connecting a gaming device, use the cable supplied with the gaming device.

• In PC mode, noise may be associated with resolution, vertical pattern, contrast, or brightness. If noise is present, change the PC output to another resolution, change the refresh rate, or adjust the brightness and contrast on the PICTURE menu until the picture is clear. Some resolution settings may not work properly depending on the graphics card.

You can operate the TV functions by pressing or moving the joystick button located below the TV screen.

• Power On: When the TV is off, place your finger on the joystick button, press it once, and release it.

• Power Off: When the TV is on, press and hold the joystick button for a few seconds and release it. (If the Menu is on screen, this action will exit the menu instead.)

• Volume Control: Move the joystick left or right to adjust the volume.

• Programmes Control: Move the joystick up or down to scroll through the saved programmes.

Note: When moving the joystick up, down, left, or right, be careful not to press it first, as this will prevent you from adjusting the volume or changing programmes.

When the TV is on, press the joystick button once to access the menu. You can then adjust the menu items by moving the joystick up, down, left, or right.

To prevent scratches or damage and ensure safe transportation, please follow this advice:

• Avoid touching the screen at all times, as this may cause damage.

• It is recommended to move the TV in its original box or packing material.

• Before moving or lifting, disconnect the power cord and all cables.

• When holding the TV, the screen should face away from you to avoid damage.

• Hold the top and bottom of the TV frame firmly. Do not hold the transparent part, speaker, or speaker grill area.

• When transporting a large TV, at least two people are required.

• Do not expose the TV to jolts or excessive vibration during transport.

• Keep the TV upright during transport; never turn it on its side or tilt it.

• Do not apply excessive pressure that could cause the frame chassis to flex or bend, as this may damage the screen.

1. Lift and tilt the TV into its upright position on a table.

2. Leave a 10 cm (minimum) space from the wall for proper ventilation.

3. Connect the power cord to a wall outlet.

Caution: Do not place the TV near or on sources of heat, as this may result in fire or other damage.

This feature is not available for all models. To secure your TV to a wall:

1. Insert and tighten the eye-bolts, or TV brackets and bolts, on the back of the TV. If there are already bolts in the eye-bolt position, remove them first.

2. Mount the wall brackets with the bolts to the wall. Match the location of the wall bracket and the eye-bolts on the rear of the TV.

3. Connect the eye-bolts and wall brackets tightly with a sturdy rope. Ensure the rope is kept horizontal with the flat surface.

Caution: Make sure that children do not climb on or hang on the TV.

Note:

• Use a platform or cabinet that is strong and large enough to support the TV securely.

• Brackets, bolts, and ropes are not provided. You can obtain additional accessories from your local dealer.

LG recommends that wall mounting be performed by a qualified professional installer. Attach an optional wall mount bracket to the rear of the TV and install it on a solid wall perpendicular to the floor.

Caution:

• Disconnect the power first, and then move or install the TV to avoid electric shock.

• If you install the TV on a ceiling or slanted wall, it may fall and result in severe injury. Use an authorized LG wall mount.

• Do not over-tighten the screws, as this may cause damage to the TV and void your warranty.

• Use screws and wall mounts that meet the VESA standard. Any damages or injuries from misuse are not covered by the warranty.

Make sure to use screws and a wall mount bracket that meet the VESA standard. Standard dimensions are described in the table below:

To use the remote, point it toward the remote control sensor on the TV. To replace batteries, open the battery cover, replace the (1.5 V AAA) batteries matching the polarity, and close the cover. Do not mix old and new batteries.

To automatically tune the programmes on your LG 47LB561V-ZE, go to SETTINGS > SETUP > Auto Tuning. This function will automatically find and store available programmes.

• If the Input Source is not connected properly, programme registration may not work.

• Auto Tuning only finds programmes that are currently broadcasting.

• If the Lock System is turned on, a pop-up window will appear asking for a password.

To select a picture mode optimized for your viewing environment or the programme, go to SETTINGS > PICTURE > Picture Mode. Available modes include:

• Vivid: Heightens contrast, brightness, and sharpness for vivid images.

• Standard: Displays images in standard levels of contrast, brightness, and sharpness.

• Eco/APS: The Energy Saver feature changes TV settings to reduce power consumption.

• Cinema/Game: Displays the optimum picture for movies or games.

• Sports: Optimizes the video image for high and dynamic actions by emphasizing primary colours such as white, grass, or sky blue.

• Expert 1, 2: A menu for adjusting picture quality that allows experts and amateurs to enjoy the best TV viewing. This is for ISF-certified picture tuning professionals.

To reduce power consumption by adjusting screen brightness, go to SETTINGS > PICTURE > Energy Saving. The options are:

• Auto: The TV sensor detects the ambient lighting and automatically adjusts the screen brightness (depending on model).

• Off: Turns off the Energy Saving mode.

• Minimum / Medium / Maximum: Applies a pre-set Energy Saving mode.

• Screen Off: The screen is turned off and only sound is played. Press any button on the remote (except the Power button) to turn the screen back on.

You can choose the sound output source by navigating through the settings.

• To use the TV speaker: Go to SETTINGS > AUDIO > Sound Out > TV Speaker. Sound will be output through the TV’s speakers.

• To use an External Speaker (Optical): Go to SETTINGS > AUDIO > Sound Out > External Speaker (Optical). Sound is output through a speaker connected to the optical port. SimpLink is supported.

• To connect and use an LG audio device (Optical): Go to SETTINGS > AUDIO > Sound Out > LG Sound Sync (Optical). Connect an LG audio device with the Sound Sync logo to the optical digital audio output port for rich, powerful sound.

• To use Headphones: Go to SETTINGS > AUDIO > Sound Out > Headphone. Sound is output through the headphone/earphone port.

SIMPLINK allows you to control and manage various multimedia devices with your TV remote via the SIMPLINK menu.

1. Connect the TV’s HDMI IN terminal and the SIMPLINK device’s HDMI output terminal using a high-speed HDMI® cable (with CEC feature).

2. Select INPUT(OPTION) > SIMPLINK. The SIMPLINK menu window will appear.

3. In the SIMPLINK Setting window, set the SIMPLINK function to ON.

4. In the SIMPLINK menu window, select the device you want to control.

SIMPLINK Functions:

• Direct Play: Plays the multimedia device on the TV instantly.

• Select multimedia device: Selects the desired device via the SIMPLINK menu for instant control.

• Disc playback: Manages the multimedia device with the TV remote control.

• Power off all devices: When you power off the TV, all connected devices are turned off.

• Sync Power on: When equipment with SIMPLINK starts to play, the TV will automatically turn on.

• Speaker: Selects the speaker either on the home theatre unit or the TV.

To set or change the TV password, go to SETTINGS > LOCK > Set Password. The initial password is set to ‘0000’.

To delete all stored information and reset the TV settings to their factory defaults, go to SETTINGS > OPTION > Factory Reset. The TV will turn itself off and back on, and all settings will be reset.

• If the Lock System is active, a pop-up window will appear asking for the password.

• Do not turn off the power during initialization.

Go to Q.MENU > USB Device and select the USB storage device you want to remove. When you see a message that the USB device has been removed, you can safely separate the device from the TV. Once a USB device has been selected for removal, it can no longer be read until you unplug it and reconnect it.

• If the USB storage device has a built-in auto recognition program or uses its own driver, it may not work.

• Some USB storage devices may not work or may work incorrectly.

• Use only USB storage devices formatted with the Windows FAT32 or NTFS File System.

• For external USB HDDs, it is recommended to use devices with a rated voltage of less than 5 V and a rated current of less than 500 mA.

• It is recommended to use USB memory sticks of 32 GB or less and USB HDDs of 1 TB or less.

• If a USB HDD with a power-saving function does not work properly, turn the power off and on. Refer to the USB HDD’s user manual for more information.

• Data on the USB storage device can be damaged, so be sure to back up important files. Data maintenance is the user’s responsibility.

Clean your TV regularly to keep it in the best condition and extend its lifespan. First, make sure to turn the power off and disconnect the power cord and all other cables.

Screen, frame, cabinet, and stand:

• To remove dust or light dirt, wipe the surface with a dry, clean, and soft cloth.

• To remove major dirt, wipe the surface with a soft cloth dampened in clean water or a diluted mild detergent. Then wipe immediately with a dry cloth.

• Avoid touching the screen at all times, as this may result in damage.

• Do not push, rub, or hit the screen surface with your fingernail or a sharp object, as this may cause scratches and image distortions.

• Do not use any chemicals as this may damage the product.

• Do not spray liquid onto the surface. If water enters the TV, it may result in fire, electric shock, or malfunction.

Power cord:

• Remove the accumulated dust or dirt on the power cord regularly.

• Check the remote control sensor on the product and try again.

• Check if there is any obstacle between the product and the remote control.

• Check if the batteries are still working and properly installed (positive to positive, negative to negative).

• Check if the product is turned on.

• Check if the power cord is connected to a wall outlet.

• Check if there is a problem in the wall outlet by connecting other products to it.

• Check the power control settings. The power supply may be interrupted.

• Check if the Automatic Standby (depending on model), Sleep Timer, or Off Time feature is activated in the TIME settings.

• If there is no signal while the TV is on, it will turn off automatically after 15 minutes of inactivity.

• Turn the TV off and on again using the remote control.

• Reconnect the HDMI cable.

• Restart the PC with the TV on.
