To attach the stand to your LG 47LB561V-ZC, place the screen facing down on a cushioned table or flat surface to protect the screen from scratches. The procedure varies slightly depending on your specific model series.

For LB55**, LB56**-ZE / ZC, LB62**-ZA / ZB models:

1. Attach the A Stand Base to the B Stand Base.

2. Secure the stand to the TV using the provided screws. Use M4 x L14 screws for general models or M4 x L20 screws for specific 32-inch models (32LB55**, 32LB56**-ZE / ZC, 32LB62**-ZA / ZB).

For LB56**-ZT / ZQ, LB62**-ZE models:

Connect the TV to a wall antenna socket using an RF cable (75 Ω). The port is labeled ANTENNA/CABLE IN on the back of the TV.

Notes:

• Use a signal splitter if you need to connect more than 2 TVs.

• If the image quality is poor, install a signal amplifier to improve it.

• If the image quality is poor with an antenna connected, try to realign the antenna in the correct direction.

• An antenna cable and converter are not supplied with the TV.

• Supported DTV Audio formats are: MPEG, Dolby Digital, Dolby Digital Plus, HE-AAC.

To connect a satellite dish to your LG 47LB561V-ZC (on satellite models only), connect the TV to a satellite dish to a satellite socket using a satellite RF cable (75 Ω). The port is labeled LNB Satellite IN on the back of the TV.

• If you connect a gaming device to the TV, use the cable supplied with the gaming device.

• In PC mode, there may be noise associated with resolution, vertical pattern, contrast, or brightness. If noise is present, change the PC output to another resolution, change the refresh rate, or adjust the brightness and contrast on the PICTURE menu until the picture is clear.

• In PC mode, some resolution settings may not work properly depending on the graphics card.

The Joystick button, located below the TV screen, allows you to operate the TV’s functions by pressing or moving it up, down, left, or right.

Basic Functions:

• Power On: When the TV is off, place your finger on the joystick button, press it once, and release it.

• Power Off: When the TV is on, press and hold the joystick button for a few seconds, then release it. (If the Menu is on screen, this action will exit the menu.)

• Volume Control: Move the joystick left or right to adjust the volume.

• Programmes Control: Move the joystick up or down to scroll through saved programmes.

Adjusting the Menu:

When the TV is on, press the joystick button once to bring up the menu. You can then adjust menu items by moving the joystick up, down, left, or right.

• TV off: Turns the power off.

• Settings: Accesses the main menu.

• Close: Clears on-screen displays and returns to TV viewing.

• Input List: Changes the input source.

To prevent your LG 47LB561V-ZC from being scratched or damaged and for safe transportation, please follow this advice:

• Avoid touching the screen at all times, as this may result in damage.

This feature is not available for all models. If available, follow these steps:

1. Insert and tighten the eye-bolts, or TV brackets and bolts on the back of the TV. If there are bolts already in the eye-bolt position, remove them first.

2. Mount the wall brackets with bolts to the wall. Match the location of the wall bracket and the eye-bolts on the rear of the TV.

3. Connect the eye-bolts and wall brackets tightly with a sturdy rope. Make sure to keep the rope horizontal with the flat surface.

Caution: Make sure that children do not climb on or hang on the TV. Use a platform or cabinet that is strong and large enough to support the TV securely. Brackets, bolts, and ropes are not provided.

LG recommends that wall mounting be performed by a qualified professional installer. Use an optional wall mount bracket that meets the VESA standard. Install it on a solid wall perpendicular to the floor.

Cautionary Measures:

• Disconnect the power first before moving or installing the TV.

• If you install the TV on a ceiling or slanted wall, it may fall and result in severe injury. Use an authorized LG wall mount.

• Do not over-tighten the screws, as this may cause damage to the TV and void your warranty.

• Use screws and wall mounts that meet the VESA standard. Any damages or injuries by misuse are not covered by the warranty.

The wall mount kit includes an installation manual and necessary parts. The length of screws may differ depending on the wall mount; ensure you use the proper length.

To automatically tune the programmes, go to SETTINGS → SETUP → Auto Tuning. This function will find and store programmes that are currently broadcasting. To access the Picture Wizard, go to SETTINGS → PICTURE → Picture Wizard III. This feature calibrates and adjusts the TV for optimum picture quality using the remote control, without the need for expensive pattern devices or specialist help.

Go to SETTINGS → PICTURE → Picture Mode to select a picture mode optimized for your viewing environment or programme.

• Vivid: Heightens contrast, brightness, and sharpness to display vivid images.

• Standard: Displays images in standard levels of contrast, brightness, and sharpness.

• Eco/APS: The Energy Saver feature changes settings on the TV to reduce power consumption.

• Cinema/Game: Displays the optimum picture for movies or games.

• Sports: Optimizes the video image for high and dynamic actions by emphasizing primary colours such as white, grass, or sky blue.

• Expert 1, 2: A menu for adjusting picture quality that allows experts and amateurs to enjoy the best TV viewing. This is for ISF-certified picture tuning professionals.

To calibrate the screen for each picture mode, go to SETTINGS → PICTURE → Picture Mode → Advanced Control / Expert Control. First select a Picture Mode, then adjust the following settings:

• Dynamic Contrast: Adjusts the contrast to the optimal level according to the image’s brightness.

• Dynamic Colour: Adjusts colours to make the image appear more natural.

• Skin Colour: Sets the skin colour spectrum separately.

• Sky Colour: Sky colour is set separately.

• Grass Colour: Natural colour spectrum can be separately set.

• Gamma: Sets the gradation curve according to the output of the picture signal.

• Colour Gamut: Selects the range of colours that can be expressed.

• Edge Enhancer: Shows clearer and distinctive yet natural edges of the video.

• Colour Filter: Filters a specific colour spectrum in RGB colours to fine-tune colour saturation and hue.

• Colour Temperature: Adjusts the overall tone of the screen as desired.

• Colour Management System: A system for experts to adjust colour with a test pattern, selecting from six colour areas (Red/Green/Blue/Cyan/Magenta/Yellow).

You can find these settings under SETTINGS → PICTURE → Picture Mode → Picture Option.

• Noise Reduction: Eliminates noise in the picture.

• MPEG Noise Reduction: Eliminates noise generated while creating digital picture signals.

• Black Level: Adjusts the brightness and contrast of the screen to suit the black level of the input picture.

• Real Cinema: Optimizes the screen for movie viewing.

• Motion Eye Care/SUPER Energy Saving: Saves power consumption by adjusting the brightness corresponding to the movement of the image on the screen.

Go to SETTINGS → PICTURE → TruMotion. This feature corrects images to display smoother motion sequences.

• Smooth: De-judder/De-blur working on a higher range in auto mode.

• Clear: De-judder/De-blur working on a middle range in auto mode.

• User: De-judder / De-blur can be set manually. De-judder adjusts juddering, and De-blur adjusts and eliminates blurring.

Navigate to SETTINGS → PICTURE → Energy Saving to reduce power consumption by adjusting screen brightness.

• Auto: The TV sensor detects ambient lighting and automatically adjusts screen brightness.

• Off: Turns off the Energy Saving mode.

• Minimum / Medium / Maximum: Applies the pre-set Energy Saving mode.

• Screen Off: The screen is turned off, and only sound is played. Press any button except the Power button on the remote control to turn the screen back on.

You can select the audio output source from the menu.

• To use the TV speaker: Go to SETTINGS → AUDIO → Sound Out → TV Speaker.

• To use an External Speaker (Optical): Go to SETTINGS → AUDIO → Sound Out → External Speaker (Optical). Sound is output through the speaker connected to the optical port. SimpLink is supported.

• To connect an LG audio device (Optical): Go to SETTINGS → AUDIO → Sound Out → LG Sound Sync (Optical). Connect an LG audio device to the optical digital audio output port for rich, powerful sound.

• To use Headphones: Go to SETTINGS → AUDIO → Sound Out → Headphone. Sound is output through the headphone port.

To configure the Digital Sound Out settings, go to SETTINGS → AUDIO → Sound Out → External Speaker (Optical) → Digital Sound Out.

If video and audio are not matched, go to SETTINGS → AUDIO → AV Sync. Adjust. If you set AV Sync. Adjust to ON, you can adjust the sound output (TV speakers or SPDIF) to the screen image.

SIMPLINK allows you to control and manage various multimedia devices with your TV remote.

Setup:

1. Connect the TV’s HDMI IN terminal to the SIMPLINK device’s HDMI output terminal using a high-speed HDMI® cable (with CEC feature).

2. Select INPUT(OPTION) → SIMPLINK. The SIMPLINK menu window will appear.

3. In the SIMPLINK Setting window, set the SIMPLINK function to ON.

4. In the SIMPLINK menu window, select the device you want to control.

SIMPLINK Functions:

• Direct Play: Plays the multimedia device on the TV instantly.

• Select multimedia device: Selects the desired device via the SIMPLINK menu to control it.

• Disc playback: Manages the multimedia device with the TV remote control.

• Power off all devices: When you power off the TV, all connected devices are turned off.

• Sync Power on: When the equipment with SIMPLINK function connected to an HDMI terminal starts to play, the TV will automatically turn on.

• Speaker: Select the speaker on either the home theatre unit or the TV.

To set or change the TV password, go to SETTINGS → LOCK → Set Password. The initial password is set to ‘0000’.

To reset all TV settings and delete all stored information, go to SETTINGS → OPTION → Factory Reset. The TV will turn itself off and back on, and all settings will be reset. Do not turn off the power during initialization. If the Lock System is in place, a pop-up window will appear asking for a password.

• If the USB storage device has a built-in auto recognition program or uses its own driver, it may not work.

• Some USB storage devices may not work or may work incorrectly.

• Use only USB storage devices formatted with the Windows FAT32 or NTFS File System.

• For external USB HDDs, it is recommended to use devices with a rated voltage of less than 5 V and a rated current of less than 500 mA.

• It is recommended to use USB memory sticks of 32 GB or less and USB HDDs of 1 TB or less.

• If a USB HDD with a power-saving function does not work properly, turn the power off and on.

• Data in the USB storage device can be damaged, so be sure to back up important files to other devices. Data maintenance is the user’s responsibility.

To safely remove a USB device, select Q.MENU → USB Device, then select the device you want to remove. When you see the removal message, you can separate the device from the TV.

Clean your TV regularly to keep the best performance and extend its lifespan. First, turn the power off and disconnect all cables.

• Screen, frame, cabinet and stand:

– To remove dust or light dirt, wipe the surface with a dry, clean, and soft cloth.

– To remove major dirt, wipe the surface with a soft cloth dampened in clean water or a diluted mild detergent. Then wipe immediately with a dry cloth.

– Avoid touching the screen at all times, as this may result in damage.

– Do not push, rub, or hit the screen surface with your fingernail or a sharp object.

– Do not use any chemicals as this may damage the product.

– Do not spray liquid onto the surface. If water enters the TV, it may result in fire, electric shock, or malfunction.

• Power cord:

– Remove the accumulated dust or dirt on the power cord regularly.

• Check the remote control sensor on the product and try again.

• Check if there is any obstacle between the product and the remote control.

• Check if the batteries are still working and properly installed (positive to positive, negative to negative).

• Check if the product is turned on.

• Check if the power cord is connected to a wall outlet.

• Check if there is a problem in the wall outlet by connecting other products.

• Check the power control settings. The power supply may be interrupted.

• Check if the Automatic Standby, Sleep Timer, or Off Time feature is activated in the TIME settings.

• If there is no signal while the TV is on, it will turn off automatically after 15 minutes of inactivity.
