Attach the “A Stand Base” to the “B Stand Base” and then secure the assembled stand to the bottom of the TV using the provided screws.

Connect your LG 47LB561U-ZC TV to a wall antenna socket using an RF cable (75 Ω). The connection port is labeled “ANTENNA / CABLE IN” on the back of the TV.

Notes:

Use a signal splitter if you need to connect more than two TVs.

If the image quality is poor, install a signal amplifier to improve it.

Connect external devices to the TV regardless of the order of the TV ports.

When connecting a gaming device, use the cable supplied with the gaming device.

In PC mode, you may experience noise related to resolution, vertical pattern, contrast, or brightness. If noise is present, try changing the PC output to another resolution, changing the refresh rate, or adjusting the brightness and contrast in the TV’s PICTURE menu until the picture is clear.

In PC mode, some resolution settings may not work properly depending on your PC’s graphics card.

To prevent your LG 47LB561U-ZC TV from being scratched or damaged and to ensure safe transportation, follow this advice:

Avoid touching the screen at all times, as this may result in damage.

Before moving or lifting the TV, disconnect the power cord and all cables.

When holding the TV, the screen should face away from you to avoid damage.

Hold the top and bottom of the TV frame firmly. Do not hold the transparent part, speaker, or speaker grill area.

When transporting a large TV, there should be at least 2 people.

Keep the TV upright during transport; never turn it on its side or tilt it left or right.

Do not expose the TV to jolts or excessive vibration.

Do not apply excessive pressure that could cause the frame chassis to flex or bend, as this may damage the screen.

Mounting on a table:

1. Lift and tilt the TV into its upright position on a table.

2. Leave a 10 cm (minimum) space from the wall for proper ventilation.

3. Connect the power cord to a wall outlet.

Securing the TV to a wall (This feature is not available for all models):

1. Insert and tighten the eye-bolts, or TV brackets and bolts, on the back of the TV. If there are already bolts in the eye-bolt position, remove them first.

2. Mount the wall brackets with the bolts to the wall. Match the location of the wall bracket and the eye-bolts on the rear of the TV.

3. Connect the eye-bolts and wall brackets tightly with a sturdy rope. Ensure the rope is kept horizontal with the flat surface.

Important:

Do not place the TV near sources of heat.

Make sure that children do not climb on or hang on the TV.

Use a platform or cabinet that is strong and large enough to support the TV securely.

Brackets, bolts, and ropes are not provided. You can obtain additional accessories from your local dealer.

To wall mount your LG 47LB561U-ZC TV, use a wall mount bracket that meets the VESA standard. The installation should be performed by a qualified professional installer on a solid wall perpendicular to the floor.

Important Cautions:

Disconnect the power first before moving or installing the TV.

If you install the TV on a ceiling or slanted wall, it may fall and result in severe injury. Use an authorized LG wall mount.

Do not over-tighten the screws, as this may cause damage and void your warranty.

You can operate the TV functions by pressing or moving the joystick button located below the TV screen.

Basic Functions:

Power On: When the TV is off, press the joystick button once and release it.

Power Off: When the TV is on, press and hold the joystick button for a few seconds and release. (If the Menu is on screen, pressing and holding the button will exit the menu).

Volume Control: Move the joystick left or right to adjust the volume.

Programmes Control: Move the joystick up or down to scroll through saved programmes.

Note: When moving your finger up, down, left, or right, be careful not to press the joystick button first, as this will prevent you from adjusting the volume or programmes.

Adjusting the Menu:

When the TV is on, press the joystick button once to bring up the menu. You can adjust menu items by moving the joystick up, down, left, or right.

TV off: Turns the power off.

Settings: Accesses the main menu.

Close: Clears on-screen displays and returns to TV viewing.

Input List: Changes the input source.

Make sure to point the remote control toward the remote control sensor on the TV. The functions of the buttons are as follows (features may vary slightly between LB55/LB56 and LB62 models):

To automatically tune the programmes on your LG 47LB561U-ZC TV, go to SETTINGS → SETUP → Auto Tuning. This function will automatically find and store available programmes.

Please note:

If the Input Source is not connected properly, programme registration may not work.

Auto Tuning only finds programmes that are currently broadcasting.

If the Lock System is turned on, a pop-up window will appear asking for a password.

You can adjust the picture settings on your LG 47LB561U-ZC TV through the SETTINGS → PICTURE menu. Here are the available options:

Picture Wizard III: (Depending on model) Calibrates and adjusts for optimum picture quality using the remote control without expensive pattern devices.

Picture Mode: Select a picture mode optimized for your viewing environment or programme.

Vivid: Heightens contrast, brightness, and sharpness.

Standard: Displays images in standard levels of contrast, brightness, and sharpness.

Eco/APS: The Energy Saver feature changes TV settings to reduce power consumption.

Cinema/Game: Displays the optimum picture for movies or games.

Sports: Optimizes the image for high and dynamic actions by emphasizing primary colours.

Expert 1, 2: Provides a menu for ISF-certified professionals to adjust picture quality for the best TV viewing.

Advanced Control / Expert Control: Calibrates the screen for each picture mode or adjusts settings for a special screen. Options include Dynamic Contrast, Dynamic Colour, Skin Colour, Sky Colour, Grass Colour, Gamma, Colour Gamut, Edge Enhancer, Colour Filter, Colour Temperature, and Colour Management System.

Picture Option: Adjusts detailed settings for images. Options include Noise Reduction, MPEG Noise Reduction, Black Level, Real Cinema, and Motion Eye Care/SUPER Energy Saving.

To use the TruMotion feature, which corrects images to display smoother motion sequences, go to SETTINGS → PICTURE → TruMotion. This feature is dependent on the model.

Smooth: De-judder/De-blur working on a higher range in auto mode.

Clear: De-judder/De-blur working on a middle range in auto mode.

User: De-judder / De-blur can be set manually. De-judder adjusts juddering of the screen, while De-blur adjusts and eliminates blurring of the screen.

Auto means the juddering and blurring range is controlled by the TruMotion mode depending on the input video status.

To reduce power consumption by adjusting screen brightness, go to SETTINGS → PICTURE → Energy Saving.

Auto: (Depending on model) The TV sensor detects the ambient lighting and automatically adjusts the screen brightness.

Off: Turns off the Energy Saving mode.

Minimum / Medium / Maximum: Applies the pre-set Energy Saving mode.

Screen Off: The screen is turned off and only sound is played. Press any button except the Power button on the remote control to turn the screen back on.

You can manage the sound output by going to SETTINGS → AUDIO → Sound Out.

TV Speaker: Sound is output through the TV speaker.

External Speaker (Optical): Sound is output through the speaker connected to the optical port. SimpLink is supported.

LG Sound Sync (Optical): Connect an LG audio device with the Sound Sync logo to the optical digital audio output port for rich, powerful sound.

Headphone: Sound is output through the headphone connected to the earphone/headphone port.

To set up the Digital Sound Out format when using an external speaker, go to SETTINGS → AUDIO → Sound Out → External Speaker (Optical) → Digital Sound Out.

SIMPLINK allows you to control and manage various multimedia devices with your TV remote via the SIMPLINK menu. This feature is only compatible with devices bearing the SIMPLINK logo.

To set up SIMPLINK:

1. Connect the TV’s HDMI IN terminal to the SIMPLINK device’s HDMI output terminal using a high-speed HDMI® cable (with CEC feature added).

2. For home theatre units, also connect an optical cable from the TV’s Optical Digital Audio Out to the device’s Optical Digital Audio In.

3. Select INPUT(OPTION) → SIMPLINK. The SIMPLINK menu window will appear.

4. In the SIMPLINK Setting window, set the SIMPLINK function to ON.

5. From the SIMPLINK menu window, select the device you want to control.

SIMPLINK Functions:

Direct Play: Plays the multimedia device on the TV instantly.

Select multimedia device: Selects the desired device via the SIMPLINK menu to control it.

Disc playback: Manages the multimedia device with the TV remote control.

Power off all devices: When you power off the TV, all connected devices are turned off.

Sync Power on: When the equipment with SIMPLINK function starts to play, the TV will automatically turn on.

Speaker: Selects the speaker output to be either the home theatre unit or the TV.

To set a password:

Go to SETTINGS → LOCK → Set Password. This allows you to set or change the TV password. The initial password is set to ‘0000’.

To perform a Factory Reset:

Go to SETTINGS → OPTION → Factory Reset. All stored information will be deleted and TV settings will be reset. The TV will turn itself off and back on with all settings reset.

Note: If the Lock System is in place, a pop-up window will appear and ask for the password. Do not turn off the power during initialization.

To safely remove a USB storage device, go to Q.MENU → USB Device. Select the USB device you want to remove. When you see a message that the USB device has been removed, you can separate the device from the TV.

Warnings for using a USB storage device:

If the USB device has a built-in auto recognition program or uses its own driver, it may not work.

Use only USB storage devices formatted with the Windows FAT32 or NTFS File System.

For external USB HDDs, it is recommended to use devices with a rated voltage of less than 5 V and a rated current of less than 500 mA.

It is recommended to use USB memory sticks of 32 GB or less and USB HDDs of 1 TB or less.

If a USB HDD with a power-saving function does not work properly, turn the power off and on.

Data on the USB storage device can be damaged, so back up important files. Data maintenance is the user’s responsibility.

Clean your TV regularly to keep the best performance and extend its lifespan. First, make sure to turn the power off and disconnect all cables.

Screen, frame, cabinet, and stand:

To remove dust or light dirt, wipe the surface with a dry, clean, and soft cloth.

To remove major dirt, wipe the surface with a soft cloth dampened in clean water or a diluted mild detergent. Then wipe immediately with a dry cloth.

CAUTION:

Avoid touching the screen at all times, as this may result in damage.

Do not push, rub, or hit the screen surface with your fingernail or a sharp object.

Do not use any chemicals as this may damage the product.

Do not spray liquid onto the surface. If water enters the TV, it may result in fire, electric shock, or malfunction.

Power cord:

Remove the accumulated dust or dirt on the power cord regularly.
