To attach the stand to your LG 39LB561V-ZE, please follow these steps. Note that the image shown in the manual may differ from your TV model.

1. Place the screen facing down on a cushioned table or flat surface to protect it from scratches.

2. Assemble the stand parts. Depending on your model, this may involve attaching the Stand Base (A) to the Stand Base (B).

3. Align the assembled stand with the mounting holes on the back of the TV.

4. Insert and tighten the provided screws to secure the stand to the TV. The screw type and quantity depend on the model.

For LB55/LB56/LB62 models:

Use four M4 x L14 screws. For 32-inch models (32LB55, 32LB56-ZE/ZC, 32LB62-ZA/ZB), use four M4 x L20 screws instead.

For LB56-ZT/ZQ, LB62-ZE models:

Use four M4 x L14 screws. For 32-inch models (32LB56-ZT/ZQ, 32LB62-ZE), use four M4 x L20 screws instead.

Caution: When attaching the stand to the TV set, always place the screen facing down on a cushioned table or flat surface to protect the screen from scratches.

To connect your LG 39LB561V-ZE to a wall antenna socket, use an RF cable (75 Ω).

Notes:

– Use a signal splitter if you need to connect more than 2 TVs.

– If the image quality is poor, install a signal amplifier properly to improve the image quality.

– If the image quality is poor with an antenna connected, try to realign the antenna in the correct direction.

– An antenna cable and converter are not supplied with the TV.

– Supported DTV Audio formats are: MPEG, Dolby Digital, Dolby Digital Plus, and HE-AAC.

For satellite models of the LG 39LB561V-ZE, connect the TV to a satellite dish to a satellite socket using a satellite RF cable (75 Ω). The port is labeled ‘LNB Satellite IN’. The cable is not provided.

The Euro Scart connection on your LG 39LB561V-ZE transmits video and audio signals from an external device to the TV. Connect the external device and the TV with a Euro Scart cable.

Note: Any Euro Scart cable used must be signal shielded.

The AV1 (TV Out) port functions as follows based on the current input mode:

The TV Out outputs Analogue TV or Digital TV signals.

For 3D models, when watching digital TV in 3D imaging mode, only 2D out signals can be output through the SCART cable.

When connecting various external devices like HD receivers, DVD players, VCRs, audio systems, USB storage devices, PCs, and gaming devices to your LG 39LB561V-ZE, please note the following:

– The external device connection may differ from the model.

– Connect external devices to the TV regardless of the order of the TV port.

– If you record a TV programme on a DVD recorder or VCR, make sure to connect the TV signal input cable to the TV through the DVD recorder or VCR. For more information on recording, refer to the manual provided with the connected device.

– Refer to the external equipment’s manual for operating instructions.

– If you connect a gaming device to the TV, use the cable supplied with the gaming device.

– In PC mode, there may be noise associated with the resolution, vertical pattern, contrast, or brightness. If noise is present, change the PC output to another resolution, change the refresh rate to another rate, or adjust the brightness and contrast on the PICTURE menu until the picture is clear.

– In PC mode, some resolution settings may not work properly depending on the graphics card.

To prevent your LG 39LB561V-ZE from being scratched or damaged and to ensure safe transportation, please follow this advice:

CAUTION:

– Avoid touching the screen at all times, as this may result in damage to the screen.

– It is recommended to move the TV in the box or packing material that the TV originally came in.

– Before moving or lifting the TV, disconnect the power cord and all cables.

– When holding the TV, the screen should face away from you to avoid damage.

– Hold the top and bottom of the TV frame firmly. Make sure not to hold the transparent part, speaker, or speaker grill area.

– When transporting a large TV, there should be at least 2 people.

– When transporting the TV by hand, hold the TV as shown in the manual’s illustrations.

– When transporting the TV, do not expose it to jolts or excessive vibration.

– Keep the TV upright during transport; never turn it on its side or tilt it left or right.

– Do not apply excessive pressure that could cause the frame chassis to flex or bend, as this may damage the screen.

You can operate the TV functions by pressing or moving the joystick button located below the TV screen up, down, left, or right.

Basic Functions:

– Power On: When the TV is off, place your finger on the joystick button and press it once and release it.

– Power Off: When the TV is on, press and hold the joystick button for a few seconds and release it. (If the Menu is on screen, pressing and holding the button will exit the menu).

– Volume Control: Move the joystick button left or right to adjust the volume.

– Programmes Control: Move the joystick button up or down to scroll through the saved programmes.

Note: When moving the joystick, be careful not to press it first, as that will prevent you from adjusting the volume or changing programmes.

Adjusting the Menu:

When the TV is on, press the joystick button once. You can then adjust the menu items by moving the joystick.

– TV off: Turns the power off.

– Settings: Accesses the main menu.

– Close: Clears on-screen displays and returns to TV viewing.

– Input List: Changes the input source.

Mounting on a table:

1. Lift and tilt the TV into its upright position on a table.

2. Leave a 10 cm (minimum) space from the wall for proper ventilation.

3. Connect the power cord to a wall outlet.

Caution: Do not place the TV near or on sources of heat, as this may result in fire or other damage.

Securing the TV to a wall (this feature is not available for all models):

1. Insert and tighten the eye-bolts, or TV brackets and bolts, on the back of the TV. If there are bolts already in the eye-bolt positions, remove them first.

2. Mount the wall brackets with bolts to the wall. Match the location of the wall bracket and the eye-bolts on the rear of the TV.

3. Connect the eye-bolts and wall brackets tightly with a sturdy rope. Make sure to keep the rope horizontal with the flat surface.

Caution: Make sure that children do not climb on or hang on the TV.

Note:

– Use a platform or cabinet that is strong and large enough to support the TV securely.

– Brackets, bolts, and ropes are not provided. You can obtain additional accessories from your local dealer.

To mount your LG 39LB561V-ZE on a wall, attach an optional wall mount bracket to the rear of the TV and install it on a solid wall perpendicular to the floor. LG recommends that wall mounting be performed by a qualified professional installer.

CAUTION:

– Disconnect the power first, and then move or install the TV. Otherwise, an electric shock may occur.

– If you install the TV on a ceiling or slanted wall, it may fall and result in severe injury. Use an authorized LG wall mount and contact the local dealer or qualified personnel.

– Do not over-tighten the screws, as this may cause damage to the TV and void your warranty.

– Use screws and wall mounts that meet the VESA standard. Any damages or injuries by misuse or using an improper accessory are not covered by the warranty.

NOTE:

– Use the screws that are listed on the VESA standard screw specifications.

– The wall mount kit includes an installation manual and necessary parts.

– The wall mount bracket is not provided. You can obtain additional accessories from your local dealer.

– The length of screws may differ depending on the wall mount. Make sure to use the proper length.

– For more information, refer to the manual supplied with the wall mount.

Separate Purchase (Wall Mounting Bracket) Specifications:

Make sure to point the remote control toward the remote control sensor on the TV. The descriptions are based on the LB55/LB56 and LB62 models.

For LB55** and LB56** Models:

For LB62** Model (additional/different functions):

– 3D button: Used for viewing 3D video.

– REC button: Starts to record and displays record menu (Only Time MachineReady supported models).

To automatically tune the programmes on your LG 39LB561V-ZE, navigate to SETTINGS > SETUP > Auto Tuning. This function will automatically tune the available programmes.

– If the Input Source is not connected properly, programme registration may not work.

– Auto Tuning only finds programmes that are currently broadcasting.

– If the Lock System is turned on, a pop-up window will appear asking for a password.

You can calibrate and adjust for optimum picture quality using the Picture Wizard feature on your LG 39LB561V-ZE. To access it, go to SETTINGS > PICTURE > Picture Wizard III.

This feature allows you to adjust the picture using the remote control without needing expensive pattern devices or professional help.

To select a picture mode optimized for your viewing environment, go to SETTINGS > PICTURE > Picture Mode. The available modes are:

– Vivid: Heightens contrast, brightness, and sharpness to display vivid images.

– Standard: Displays images in standard levels of contrast, brightness, and sharpness.

– Eco/APS: The Energy Saver feature changes settings on the TV to reduce power consumption.

– Cinema/Game: Displays the optimum picture for movies or games.

– Sports: Optimizes the video image for high and dynamic actions by emphasizing primary colours such as white, grass, or sky blue.

– Expert 1, 2: A menu for adjusting picture quality that allows experts and amateurs to enjoy the best TV viewing. This is the adjustment menu provided for ISF-certified picture tuning professionals. (ISF logo can only be used on ISF-certified TVs.) ISFccc stands for Imaging Science Foundation Certified Calibration Control.

Note: Depending on the input signal, the available range of picture modes may differ. The Expert mode is for picture tuning professionals to control and fine-tune using a specific image; for normal images, the effects may not be dramatic. The ISF function is only available on some models.

The Energy Saving feature reduces power consumption by adjusting screen brightness. You can access it via SETTINGS > PICTURE > Energy Saving.

– Auto: The TV sensor detects the ambient lighting and automatically adjusts the screen brightness (Depending on model).

– Off: Turns off the Energy Saving mode.

– Minimum / Medium / Maximum: Applies the pre-set Energy Saving mode.

– Screen Off: The screen is turned off and only sound is played. Press any button except the Power button on the remote control to turn the screen back on.

SIMPLINK allows you to control and manage various multimedia devices with your TV remote via the SIMPLINK menu. This function is only compatible with devices bearing the SIMPLINK logo.

Setup Steps:

1. Connect the TV’s HDMI IN terminal to the SIMPLINK device’s HDMI output terminal using a high-speed HDMI® cable (with CEC feature added).

2. Select INPUT(OPTION) > SIMPLINK. The SIMPLINK menu window will appear.

3. In the SIMPLINK Setting window, set the SIMPLINK function to ON.

4. In the SIMPLINK menu window, select the device you want to control.

SIMPLINK Function Descriptions:

– Direct Play: Plays the multimedia device on the TV instantly.

– Select multimedia device: Selects the desired device via the SIMPLINK menu to control it from the TV screen instantly.

– Disc playback: Manages the multimedia device with the TV remote control.

– Power off all devices: When you power off the TV, all connected devices are turned off.

– Sync Power on: When the equipment with SIMPLINK function connected to an HDMI terminal starts to play, the TV will automatically turn on.

– Speaker: Selects the speaker output to be either the home theatre unit or the TV.

To reset your LG 39LB561V-ZE to its factory settings, which will delete all stored information and reset TV settings, follow these steps:

1. Navigate to SETTINGS > OPTION > Factory Reset.

2. The TV will turn itself off and back on, and all settings will be reset.

Important Notes:

– If the Lock System is enabled, a pop-up window will appear asking for the password.

– Do not turn off the power during the initialization process.

When using a USB storage device with your LG 39LB561V-ZE, please adhere to the following warnings:

– Data in the USB storage device can be damaged, so be sure to back up important files to other devices. Data maintenance is the user’s responsibility and the manufacturer is not responsible for data loss.
