When using your LENCO PR2700, keep these instructions in mind:

1. Do not use this device near water.

2. Clean only with a slightly damp cloth.

3. Do not cover or block any ventilation openings. When placing the device on a shelf, leave 5 cm (2 inches) free space around the whole device.

4. Install in accordance with the supplied user manual.

How do I turn the LENCO PR2700 on and off?

To switch on the system: In standby mode, press the FUNCTION button to turn on the unit with the last selected source. The default source is the tuner.

To switch off the system: Press and hold the FUNCTION button for 2 seconds to switch to standby mode. The display will show the time. Note that the dim and alarm settings are still functional in the standby mode.


How can I select a music source on the LENCO PR2700?

When the unit is on, press the FUNCTION button to cycle through and select the desired music source: Tuner, USB, or AUX.

Tuner: When selected, “TUNER” will be displayed for a few seconds before showing the FM frequency.

Step 2. Press the SKIP+/SKIP- button to select between 12H or 24H clock mode.

Step 3. Press the CLOCK button.

Step 4. Press the CLOCK button again to adjust the minutes using the SKIP+/SKIP- buttons.

Step 5. Press the CLOCK button again to adjust the YEAR using the SKIP+/SKIP- buttons.

Step 6. Press the CLOCK button again to adjust the MONTH using the SKIP+/SKIP- buttons.

Step 7. Press the CLOCK button again to adjust the DAY using the SKIP+/SKIP- buttons.

Step 8. Press the CLOCK button again to adjust the CT (Central Time) on/off function using the SKIP+/SKIP- buttons.

Step 9. Press the CLOCK button once more to store the clock settings.

Note: If no buttons are pressed within 10 seconds during this process, the system will exit clock setting mode without saving changes.


How do I configure the sleep function on the LENCO PR2700?

The sleep function allows you to set a timer for the unit to play music before automatically entering standby mode.

Step 1. You can press the SLEEP button while the unit is in standby or when it is powered on.

Step 2. Press the FUNCTION button to select the desired source.

Step 3. Press the SLEEP button multiple times to select the duration in minutes: 5, 10, 15, 30, 45, 60, 90, 120, or OFF. After selecting the time, wait for it to select automatically. The display will show “SLEEP” to indicate the mode is active.

To view the remaining sleep time, press the SLEEP button once. To turn off the sleep function, long press the FUNCTION button or select “OFF” by pressing the SLEEP button.


How do I set the alarm on my LENCO PR2700?

Follow these steps in standby mode to set the alarm:

Step 1. Press and hold the MEMORY/ALARM button for 2 seconds. The alarm time will show and the hours will start blinking.

Step 2. Adjust the hour time using the SKIP+/SKIP- buttons.

Step 3. Press the MEMORY/ALARM button again. The minutes will start to blink.

Step 4. Adjust the minutes using the SKIP+/SKIP- buttons and press the MEMORY/ALARM button.

Step 5. Select the desired sound source (BUZZER, USB, or TUNER) using the SKIP buttons and press the MEMORY/ALARM button to confirm.

Step 6. Select the alarm frequency when the weekdays start to blink. Use the SKIP+/SKIP- buttons to choose between DAILY, WEEKDAYS, WEEKENDS, ONCE, and VOLUME.

Step 7. Press the MEMORY/ALARM button to store the settings.

To activate or deactivate the alarm, press the MEMORY/ALARM button while the unit is in standby mode. An alarm icon will appear on the display when the alarm is active.


What happens when the alarm sounds on the LENCO PR2700?

When the alarm is sounding, the following rules apply:

1. The ALARM symbol on the display will flash.

2. To stop the alarm immediately, press the MEMORY/ALARM button.

3. To snooze the alarm for 9 minutes, press the SNOOZE/DIMMER button. The snooze function can be active for up to 1 hour.

Note: The alarm volume level will be the same as the level set when the unit was last powered off.

You can store up to 20 FM stations in the system memory:

When tuned to an FM RDS station, the Programmed Service name (station name) will appear. Press the RDS button to change the display mode in this order:

1. PS (Programmed Service name): Shows the frequency for 3 seconds, then the station name.

3. RT (Radio Text): Shows messages from the station of up to 64 symbols.

Note: A blinking clock icon on the RDS symbol means the time is being automatically updated.
