When using your LENCO PR2700, keep these instructions in mind:

1. Do not use this device near water.

2. Clean only with a slightly damp cloth.

3. Do not cover or block any ventilation openings. When placing the device on a shelf, leave 5 cm (2 inches) free space around the whole device.

4. Install in accordance with the supplied user manual.

5. Do not step on or pinch the power adaptor. Be very careful, particularly near the plugs and the cable exit point. Do not place heavy items on the power adaptor, which may damage it. Keep the entire device out of children reach.

6. Unplug this device during lightning storms or when unused for a long period.

7. Keep the device away from heat sources such as radiators, heaters, stoves, candles and other heat generating products or naked flame.

8. Avoid using the device near strong magnetic fields.

9. Electrostatic discharge can disturb normal usage of this device. If so, simply reset and restart the device following the instruction manual. During file transmission, please handle with care and operate in a static free environment.

10. Warning! Never insert an object into the product through the vents or openings. High voltage flows through the product and inserting an object can cause electric shock and/or short circuit internal parts. For the same reason, do not spill water or liquid on the product.

11. Do not use in wet or moist areas such as bathrooms, steamy kitchens or near swimming pools.

12. Do not use this device when condensation may occur.

13. If you notice smoke, an excessive build up of heat or any other unexpected phenomena, you should disconnect the plug from the main power socket immediately.

14. This device must operate on a power source as specified on the specification label.

15. Avoid placing the device on any surfaces that may be subject to vibrations or shocks.

16. To clean the device, use a soft dry cloth. Do not use solvents or petrol based fluids. To remove severe stains, you may use a damp cloth with dilute detergent.

17. The apparatus shall not be exposed to dripping or splashing and make sure that no objects filled with liquids, such as vases, are placed on or near the apparatus.

To switch on the system: In standby mode, press the FUNCTION button to turn on the unit with the last selected source. The default source is the tuner.

To switch off the system: Press and hold the FUNCTION button for 2 seconds to switch to standby mode. The display will show the time. Note that the dim and alarm settings are still functional in the standby mode.

When the unit is on, press the FUNCTION button to cycle through and select the desired music source: Tuner, USB, or AUX.

Tuner: When selected, “TUNER” will be displayed for a few seconds before showing the FM frequency.

USB: When selected, “USB” will be displayed for a few seconds before showing the track number and play time.

AUX: When selected, “AUX” will be displayed and the device connected to the AUX connection will be heard.

The clock can only be set while the unit is in Standby mode. Follow these steps:

Step 1. Press and hold the MEMORY button for 2 seconds until the 24H or 12H clock mode shows.

Step 2. Press the SKIP+/SKIP- button to select between 12H or 24H clock mode.

Step 3. Press the CLOCK button.

Step 4. Press the CLOCK button again to adjust the minutes using the SKIP+/SKIP- buttons.

Step 5. Press the CLOCK button again to adjust the YEAR using the SKIP+/SKIP- buttons.

Step 6. Press the CLOCK button again to adjust the MONTH using the SKIP+/SKIP- buttons.

Step 7. Press the CLOCK button again to adjust the DAY using the SKIP+/SKIP- buttons.

Step 8. Press the CLOCK button again to adjust the CT (Central Time) on/off function using the SKIP+/SKIP- buttons.

Step 9. Press the CLOCK button once more to store the clock settings.

Note: If no buttons are pressed within 10 seconds during this process, the system will exit clock setting mode without saving changes.

The sleep function allows you to set a timer for the unit to play music before automatically entering standby mode.

Step 1. You can press the SLEEP button while the unit is in standby or when it is powered on.

Step 2. Press the FUNCTION button to select the desired source.

Step 3. Press the SLEEP button multiple times to select the duration in minutes: 5, 10, 15, 30, 45, 60, 90, 120, or OFF. After selecting the time, wait for it to select automatically. The display will show “SLEEP” to indicate the mode is active.

To view the remaining sleep time, press the SLEEP button once. To turn off the sleep function, long press the FUNCTION button or select “OFF” by pressing the SLEEP button.

Follow these steps in standby mode to set the alarm:

Step 1. Press and hold the MEMORY/ALARM button for 2 seconds. The alarm time will show and the hours will start blinking.

Step 2. Adjust the hour time using the SKIP+/SKIP- buttons.

Step 3. Press the MEMORY/ALARM button again. The minutes will start to blink.

Step 4. Adjust the minutes using the SKIP+/SKIP- buttons and press the MEMORY/ALARM button.

Step 5. Select the desired sound source (BUZZER, USB, or TUNER) using the SKIP buttons and press the MEMORY/ALARM button to confirm.

Step 6. Select the alarm frequency when the weekdays start to blink. Use the SKIP+/SKIP- buttons to choose between DAILY, WEEKDAYS, WEEKENDS, ONCE, and VOLUME.

Step 7. Press the MEMORY/ALARM button to store the settings.

To activate or deactivate the alarm, press the MEMORY/ALARM button while the unit is in standby mode. An alarm icon will appear on the display when the alarm is active.

When the alarm is sounding, the following rules apply:

1. The ALARM symbol on the display will flash.

2. To stop the alarm immediately, press the MEMORY/ALARM button.

3. To snooze the alarm for 9 minutes, press the SNOOZE/DIMMER button. The snooze function can be active for up to 1 hour.

Note: The alarm volume level will be the same as the level set when the unit was last powered off.

Press the SNOOZE/DIMMER button repeatedly to cycle through three different brightness levels for the display screen: Dim 1, Dim 2, and Dim 3.

You can store up to 20 FM stations in the system memory:

To program a preset: In Tuner mode, use the SKIP+/SKIP- buttons to scan for a station. Press and hold the MEMORY button for 2 seconds until “P01” blinks on the display. Use the SKIP buttons to select your desired preset number (up to 20) and press the MEMORY button again to store it.

To retrieve a preset: Press the Memory button briefly to access and cycle through your stored stations.

When tuned to an FM RDS station, the Programmed Service name (station name) will appear. Press the RDS button to change the display mode in this order:

1. PS (Programmed Service name): Shows the frequency for 3 seconds, then the station name.

2. PTY (Programmed Type): Shows the type of program being broadcast.

3. RT (Radio Text): Shows messages from the station of up to 64 symbols.

Note: A blinking clock icon on the RDS symbol means the time is being automatically updated.

Step 1. Press the FUNCTION button until the display shows “USB”.

Step 2. Use the PLAY button to pause or resume playback.

Step 3. Use the SKIP+/SKIP- buttons to select the next or previous track.

Step 4. Press and hold the SKIP+/SKIP- buttons to fast forward or backward. Normal playback resumes when the button is released.

Note: Use compatible storage devices up to 32GB. Do not use USB extension cables as they can cause interference and corrupt data flow.

You can create a custom playlist of up to 20 tracks:

Step 1. While USB playback is stopped, press the MEMORY/ALARM button. The display memory location will flash “P01”.

Step 2. Use the SKIP+/SKIP- buttons to select the desired track.

Step 3. Press the MEMORY/ALARM button to store the selected track. The display will then show “P02”.

Step 4. Repeat steps 2 and 3 for up to 20 tracks.

Step 5. Press the RDS/PLAY button to start playback of your programmed list.

Step 1. Plug a 3.5mm audio cable (not included) into the line out of your external player and the other end into the AUX IN Jack on the right side of the unit.

Step 2. The unit will automatically enter AUX mode.

Step 3. Start playback on your external player. The unit will output the sound.

Step 4. To return to another mode, disconnect the audio cable from the unit.

Yes, due to ErP stage two requirements, the unit will automatically switch to standby mode if no music has been played for over 15 minutes.
