• Only use this machine in accordance with instructions and applicable laws/regulations.
• Read and familiarize yourself with all safety precautions before use. Strictly follow them.

• DO NOT leave the machine unattended during operation.

Stop using the machine and cut off the power immediately in the following situations:

• A burning smell is detected coming from the machine.
• Open flames or sparks are observed being generated from the engraving material.
• Any components of the machine appear to be damaged or malfunctioning.
• Unexpected cessation of machine operation for no clear reason.
• Abnormal sounds, smoke, or unusual lighting are emitted from the machine.

The LP5 Basic is a Class 4 laser system. When assembled and locked with a safety enclosure, the laser system becomes Class 1.

The active laser and its reflections can rapidly cause fires, burns, and permanent vision damage. During operation, the materials being engraved or cut may release toxic and harmful gases or fumes, which can pose health and environmental risks depending on the material’s type and composition.

You need to wear safety goggles that can shield your eyes from the laser beams if the protective cover or safety enclosure cannot fully cover the object being engraved. Under normal circumstances, the laser is blocked by the protective cover or safety enclosure during operation, provided it is installed properly.

Yes, to ensure safe use, it is recommended to use this machine with an air purifier (purchased separately) to effectively absorb and filter any toxic or harmful gases and fumes generated during engraving or cutting.

DO NOT use this laser in dewy, dusty, or high-EMI (Electromagnetic Interference) conditions where the active laser might easily be deflected or reflected.

• Only use the machine with stable and compatible power sources.
• This machine requires a 24V/7.5A power adapter. Failure to use the compatible adapter can result in malfunction.
• Do not allow any electronic component to become wet.
• Always fully disconnect the machine from power before undertaking cleaning, adjustment, maintenance, or repair.

1. Use the Hex key H2.5 (included in the tool box) to install the 4 pieces of M4x10 screws (also included) through the bottom of the Base Plate into the base of the Electric Stand column. 2. Turn over the assembled Electric Stand and Base Plate to ensure the screws are secured.

Position the mounting plate on top of the Laser Unit onto the corresponding part of the Electric Stand arm. Secure it by turning the knob on the side of the arm counter-clockwise until tight.

1. First, carefully remove the temporary protective cover from the field lens area below the Laser Unit. 2. Place the Conical Protective Cover below the Laser Unit, aligning it correctly. 3. Secure the cover to the Laser Unit by tightening the 2 screws located on top of the cover (accessible from inside the cover opening) in a counter-clockwise direction. *Always avoid touching the lens.* 4. Attach the orange Front light filter to the front opening of the Conical Protective Cover.

1. **Main Power:** Connect the Power Cable to the Power Adapter, and plug the adapter into a stable power supply outlet. Connect the barrel plug end of the Power Cable to the DC Power Port (Port 1) on the Laser Unit. 2. **Conical Protective Cover:** Connect the USB cable from the Conical Protective Cover to the designated USB Port (Port 6) on the Laser Unit. 3. **Electric Stand Power:** Connect one end of the 0.6m USB cable to the USB Port for the Electric Stand (Port 5) on the Laser Unit. Connect the other end to the Power Input port on the base of the Electric Stand column.

• Solid yellow: Powering on
• Blinking white: Not connected to network
• Solid white: Connecting to network
• Blinking blue: Connected to network (likely indicating data transfer or active connection attempt)
• Solid blue: Connected to Software (App or PC)
• Blinking green: File in transit (transferring)
• Solid green: Engraving in progress
• Solid red: Emergency stopped and disconnected
• Blinking red, blue: Firmware updating

The Security Key must be inserted properly into its slot (Port 2) on the Laser Unit before use. The machine will not work if the Security Key is not inserted. An error prompt will also pop up in the App. Ensure it is fully inserted before starting any operation.

The Conical Protective Cover has a built-in exhaust fan. Use the included Pipe Adapter to connect an exhaust pipe (included in some bundles, or purchased separately) or an air purifier (purchased separately) to the fan outlet on the cover. This helps vent smoke and fumes away from the work area.

1. Open the LaserPecker Design Space App on your phone. 2. Click the “+” icon in the upper right corner. 3. Select the machine model ‘LP5’. 4. Follow the in-app instructions to configure the WiFi network for the machine. 5. Ensure both the LaserPecker LP5 and your phone are connected to the same 2.4GHz WiFi network. 5GHz networks are not supported.

The Laser Unit Indicator light on the machine will turn solid blue when it is successfully connected to the software (App or PC).

Use the 1.5m USB cable (Type A to Type C) provided. Connect the USB-C end to the USB-C port (Port 3) on the Laser Unit and the USB-A end to a USB port on your computer. Install the necessary PC software and drivers if prompted.

1. **Initial Setup:** You must first connect the machine to your computer using the USB cable (as described in the direct connection method). This initial USB connection is required to configure the Wi-Fi settings. 2. **Software Configuration:** Open the LaserPecker PC software. After the machine is recognized via USB, find the machine settings or device information section (often indicated by an icon or menu in the upper right corner). 3. **Wi-Fi Settings:** Within the machine settings, select ‘WiFi setting’ or a similar option. 4. **Network Selection:** Follow the on-screen instructions to select your 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network and enter the password. 5. **Connect:** Once configured, the machine can connect to the PC software over Wi-Fi, provided both devices are on the same network. You can then disconnect the USB cable if desired for wireless operation.

1. Place the material you want to engrave onto the Base Plate under the Laser Unit. 2. In the LaserPecker App or PC software, initiate the preview mode or specifically turn on the “red dots focusing” mode (check machine settings). This will project two red dots onto the material surface from the Laser Unit. 3. Use the ‘Up’ and ‘Down’ buttons on the Electric Stand to adjust the height of the Laser Unit. 4. Watch the two red dots on the material. Continue adjusting the height until the two dots merge and overlap perfectly into a single point. 5. When the dots coincide, the laser is correctly focused for that material height.

If any errors, machine faults, or dangerous situations occur during material processing, immediately press the large red Emergency Stop button located on the side of the Laser Unit. This will cut power to the laser and stop the engraving process. The Laser Unit Indicator will turn solid red.

1. Prepare your project files and save them in the compatible format (.lpb) onto a USB flash drive. 2. Insert the flash drive into the USB Port for Flash Drive (Port 7) on the Laser Unit. 3. Using the LaserPecker mobile App or PC software (while connected to the LP5), navigate to the option to select files from the USB drive. 4. Choose the desired .lpb file. You should be able to preview the design. 5. Position your material and set the focus correctly. 6. Start the engraving process from the App or PC software.

The Security Key acts as a physical lock for the machine’s operation.

• To Lock:** Remove the Security Key from its slot (Port 2) on the Laser Unit. This prevents the machine from performing processing and related functions, effectively locking it to prevent unauthorized use.
• To Unlock:** Insert the Security Key fully into its slot. This enables the processing and related functions, allowing the machine to be used normally.
