If the screen freezes during initial setup or the device cannot be turned off by pressing the power button, follow these steps to reset:

1. Pull up the USB cover to find a small hole.

2. Insert a paper clip inside the hole.

3. Press once to Reset.

This will automatically restart the KURIO SNAP.


How do I navigate the menus on the KURIO SNAP?

• Press the back arrow button to go back in most cases.

• Press the home button to go to the main menu.

• Swipe right (from the left edge) to go back to the previous screen.

• Swipe across the screen (starting from the left side of the black frame) to go to the home screen.

Note: On the gallery and photo editing menus, the swipe function may be disabled.


How do I connect the KURIO SNAP to a printer?

You can print your decorated photos by connecting the device to a printer using the USB cable. To print your Photobooth, ensure you change your printer’s setting to the “Bordered” option. Then, adjust cropping and enlarge or reduce the print area to ensure your Photobooth is printed correctly.


How can I connect the KURIO SNAP to other devices to share files?

You can share photos, videos, boomerang files, and slideshows with another KURIO SNAP or appropriate Android & iOS devices.

1. Ensure the KURIO SNAP’s WiFi function is turned ON.

2. Go to GALLERY and select your photo.

3. Press the share icon and follow the instructions.

Note: To share with Android or iOS devices, you must download the free KURIO Snap app. The first connection must be initiated by the other device using the app. The connection’s password is 11223344.


How do I transfer data between the KURIO SNAP and a computer?

Follow these steps to transfer photos, videos, and music:

1. Pull up the USB door on the right side of the camera.

2. Insert the Micro USB plug into the KURIO SNAP.

3. Insert the standard USB plug into your computer.

4. Choose the option “use KURIO Snap as external drive” on the device.

5. A removable drive named “KURIO Snap” will appear on your computer.

6. There are 5 folders available: Download, Music, Photo, SlideShow, Video. Move files to the appropriate folders so they appear properly on the device.

Note: Videos and photos transferred from a PC or MAC cannot be viewed by the KURIO SNAP if they were edited with sound or contain boomerang effects.


How do I use a Micro SD card with the KURIO SNAP?

To insert a Micro SD card (sold separately), remove the bumper of your KURIO SNAP. Once inserted, 5 folders (Download, Music, Photo, SlideShow, Video) will be created. Move files to these folders to view them on the device. Slideshow and Download files will not be visible if the folders contain no content.

What are the recording limits for the KURIO SNAP camera?

The default setting for video recording is set to 30 seconds. The maximum length of video recording is 10 minutes.


How do I listen to music on the KURIO SNAP?

You can add your favorite music via PC or MAC using the USB cable (refer to the Data Transfer instructions). Once transferred, you can listen to your favorite songs and use them for your slideshows.


How do I edit photos and create slideshows on the KURIO SNAP?

To edit photos:

Choose a photo from the gallery or take a new one. Edit it to add stickers, frames, or sound effects. You can resize stickers using the – and + icons, or press and hold the sticker to move it around.

To make a slideshow:

Choose multiple photos from the gallery and a preloaded song to create a real slideshow.


How do I clean the KURIO SNAP?

To clean the screen, simply use a soft damp cloth. Do not use alcohol, solvent, aerosol spray, liquid, or abrasive cleaners.
