Step 2. Place the glass against the Glass Holder, ensuring the screws pass through the holes on both the Hood Attachment Frame and the Glass Holder.
Step 3. Secure the Glass Holder by fastening the knurled nuts to the screws.
How do I attach the monitor to the IKAN PT419W-NDI-TMN teleprompter base?
Step 1. Remove the monitor mounts from the teleprompter base using the included 4mm hex key.
Step 2. Ensure the washers are put on before tightening the screws. These items are found in a bag on the bottom foam.
Step 3. After attaching the monitor mounts, adjust the 15mm rods to accommodate the monitor, leaving about 1 inch of room for the teleprompter bracket.
Step 4. Ensure the 15mm rods pass through both sets of monitor mounts and are properly tightened. Note: Leave at least 2 inches of the rods inside the teleprompter base.
How do I connect the teleprompter bracket to the Glass Frame Holder Bracket on the IKAN PT419W-NDI-TMN?
Step 1. While sliding the teleprompter bracket into the slot of the Glass Frame Holder Bracket, pull on the red knob to allow the bracket to slide in fully.
Step 2. Once in position, tighten the side screw to lock the bracket in place.
Step 3. Double check that all screws are tightened using the included hex keys.
How do I attach the hood to the IKAN PT419W-NDI-TMN?
Step 1. Fold the flaps of the hood alongside the edges of the Hood Attachment Frame. The magnetic flaps will automatically attach for support.
Step 2. Ensure the holes on the hood are positioned through the six threaded clinch studs on the Hood Attachment Frame.
Step 3. Fasten the included nuts to all six of the threaded clinch studs to secure the hood.
Step 4. Seal both zippers on the hood to prevent light leakage.
How do I mount a camera to the IKAN PT419W-NDI-TMN?
Step 1. If using the Tall Riser Plate, insert the Large Riser Bracket through the channel on the plate. The bracket includes a location pin for cameras that have a location pin hole. This can be unscrewed if not needed.
Step 2. Place the riser below the camera and fasten the 1/4-20 camera screw to the bottom of the camera to secure it to the riser plate.
Step 3. Slide the threaded studs into the channel of the base, ensuring they align with the spacing of the holes on the riser plate.
Step 4. Once aligned, pass the threaded studs through the holes of the riser plate and fasten the screws to secure the plate to the base.
How do I mount the IKAN PT419W-NDI-TMN to a tripod?
Step 1. Mount your own tripod plate to the sled by aligning and fastening the 1/4-20 and/or 3/8-16 screws. Connecting to the front of the sled is recommended for easier balancing.
Step 2. Mount the tripod plate to your tripod head.
Step 3. Slide the entire teleprompter system into the sled.
Step 4. Adjust the position along the sled to determine the center of gravity, then tighten the thumb screws to lock it.
Step 5. Insert the included headless screws into the threads behind and in front of the base to further secure the system.
How do I attach the talent monitor to the IKAN PT419W-NDI-TMN?
Step 1. Align the holes of the monitor to the VESA Adapter and fasten the screws to attach it.
Step 2. Place the Height Adjustment Plate in the Rod Adapter, align the holes, and fasten the screws.
Step 3. Align the threads of the 1/4-20 thumb screw to the threads on the VESA Adapter and fasten the screws to secure the talent monitor to the Rod Adapter.
Step 4. Attach the talent monitor mount to the teleprompter system by inserting the Rod Adapter onto the 15mm rods.
Step 5. Fasten the thumb screws to secure the talent monitor in place.
