- Make sure Windows has completed its start-up, and no other applications are running.
- Insert the CD into the CD drive.
- Double-click the “setup.exe” contained in the CD. If “User Account Control” appears, click [Allow] to continue.
- “Welcome to the InstallShield Wizard for CS-F3000” appears. Click [Next>].
- “User Information” appears. Type your name, your company name and the product ID number in the following manner: ID number: 328701-(6 digit serial number). Then click [Next >]. Please check the serial number on the CD. If you downloaded the software, enter the ID that was provided by the distributor.
- “Choose Destination Location” appears, and then click [Next>]. If desired, click [Browse…] to select another destination folder before clicking [Next >].
- After the installation is completed, “InstallShield Wizard Complete” appears, and then click [Finish].
- Eject the CD.
- ‘CS-F3000’ appears on the program menu, and a ‘CS-F3000’ shortcut icon appears on the desktop. To uninstall the cloning software, select the “Control Panel” in the start menu, and click the “Add or Remove Programs.” Then, select the program group ‘Icom CS-F3000’ and click [Remove].
How is the Product ID number formatted when installing the ICOM CS-F3000 software?
The ID number format is 328701 followed by a hyphen and the 6 digit serial number, for example, 328701-XXXXXX.
