Use speaker cables with 1/4″ plugs. If you use a cable that is not designed as a speaker cable, the cable itself may overheat or catch fire. If a malfunction occurs in the cable, the amp head may overheat and malfunction.

When connecting the speaker system to an amp, please check the total impedance of the speaker system you are connecting. In particular, when connecting multiple speakers, the impedance of the entire system will be less than the impedance of a single speaker cabinet. When setting up, it is important to match the impedance with the amp. Please set up your system according to the connection examples shown in the manual. If you are unsure about how to make connections, please contact your dealer.

When connecting the speaker system to an amp, you must check the output rating of the amp. If a signal that is larger than the rated power handling is input to a speaker unit, the speaker unit may be damaged. If this occurs, a fee will be charged to replace the speaker unit even if the system is still under warranty. In particular, when using the speaker system in stereo, please be aware that the power handling per channel will be half of the total mono power handling.

Place the speaker cabinet in a stable location. The placement of the cabinet and the surroundings will affect the tone. If you are using multiple speaker cabinets, the speakers will work more efficiently as a system if the cabinets are located near each other.

Before you connect cables, you must turn the master volume of the amp to 0 or turn the power off. If the speaker is repeatedly subjected to the noise that occurs when a plug is inserted or removed, wires may break or other malfunctions may occur.

To prevent the cabinet from becoming discolored or deformed, avoid using it in direct sunlight or extreme humidity.

To remove dust or dirt, wipe gently with a dry cloth.

Do not use alcohol, petrochemical solvents, or thinner, since these may discolor the cabinet.

Do not drop the amp or otherwise subject it to physical shock, and avoid rough handling.

1. Speaker grille: Protects the speaker.

2. Speaker: This unit converts the electrical signal sent from the amplifier into sound.

3. Handle: Use this handle to carry the speaker cabinet.

4. Corner protectors: These protect the corners from external impacts.

5. Caster: Allows you to easily move the cabinet. The casters can be removed.

6. Rubber feet: These protect the cabinet.

7. Input Jack: Connect the speaker cable from the amp head to this jack.

8. MONO/STEREO switch: This switches the speaker cabinet between mono operation and stereo operation. Refer to the connection examples when making connections.

Connect a single speaker cable from the MONO output jack of your amp head to either INPUT A (4Ω impedance) or INPUT B (16Ω impedance) on the speaker cabinet. Set the MONO/STEREO switch on the cabinet to the MONO position. Be sure to check the impedance setting of your amplifier head and ensure it matches the input you are using on the cabinet (4Ω or 16Ω).

Connect two speaker cables from the STEREO output jacks (Left and Right) of your amp head to INPUT A (8Ω impedance) and INPUT B (8Ω impedance) on the speaker cabinet. Set the MONO/STEREO switch on the cabinet to the STEREO position. This provides an 8Ω load per channel.

There are two primary ways depending on your amp head’s capabilities:

Example 1 (Parallel Connection): Connect a speaker cable from your amp head’s MONO output to INPUT A (4Ω) of the first cabinet. Then, connect another speaker cable from INPUT B (THRU – labeled as 16Ω but acts as a pass-through in this setup) of the first cabinet to INPUT A (4Ω) of the second cabinet. Set the MONO/STEREO switch on *both* cabinets to MONO. The total impedance presented to the amplifier will be 2Ω. Ensure your amplifier head can safely operate at a 2Ω load.

Example 2 (Using two Amp Outputs): If your amplifier head has two MONO speaker outputs designed to run simultaneously (check your amp manual), connect one speaker cable from one amp output to INPUT B (16Ω) of the first cabinet. Connect a second speaker cable from the other amp output to INPUT B (16Ω) of the second cabinet. Set the MONO/STEREO switch on *both* cabinets to MONO. The total impedance will depend on how your amp’s outputs are configured (e.g., two 16Ω cabinets connected to two 8Ω outputs might result in an 8Ω total load if the amp outputs are internally paralleled). Always consult your amplifier head’s manual for correct connection procedures when using multiple outputs.

Connect a speaker cable from the Left STEREO output of your amp head to INPUT A (8Ω) of the first cabinet. Connect another speaker cable from the Right STEREO output of your amp head to INPUT A (8Ω) of the second cabinet. Set the MONO/STEREO switch on *both* cabinets to the STEREO position. This configuration provides an 8Ω load per channel (Left and Right) to the amplifier.

1. Carefully lay the speaker cabinet down on its back. To avoid scratching the cabinet, you should place it on a blanket or other cushioning material.

2. Align the caster base plate with the mounting pilot holes on the bottom of the cabinet.

3. Insert the screws provided with the casters through the caster base plate and into the pilot holes.

4. Use a Phillips screwdriver to firmly tighten the screws.

You will need a Phillips screwdriver. A wrench for the casters should be included.

Before assuming there is a defect, please check the following:

• Are all connections made correctly?

• Is the master volume of the amp turned up?

• Is the power of the amp turned on?

• Is the MONO/STEREO switch set correctly for your connection?

• If you are using effect units, check their connections and settings.
