The HYGGER HG129-36W Sun LED Light offers several key features:

Ultra-bright LEDs: Premium, powerful 5054+2835 LEDs provide stable and bright illumination to enhance the color in your tank and promote plant growth.

Day & Night Mode and DIY Mode: You can adjust the day & night mode or the 24/7 (DIY) mode to run your light. Each mode features fully customizable WRGB color and brightness, flexible time set up options to automatically turn the light on/off, and a 15-minute slow ramp up and down function.

Individually controllable colors: White, Red, Orange, Yellow, Green, Marnie Blue, Blue, and Purple.

Extendable bracket: The light is designed for aquariums 24 inches or larger.

Memory function: An included cell battery, when installed in the controller, remembers your previous settings and updates the current time of day, so you don’t have to reprogram it after a power failure.

Suitable for planted and freshwater aquariums: This full-spectrum LED lighting provides your aquarium plants with the light they need for healthy growth.

The controller for the HYGGER HG129-36W has several indicators and buttons:

Indicator Lights:

• Indicator Light for Day Mode (DAY TIMER)

• Indicator Light for Night Mode (NIGHT TIMER)

• Indicator Light for 24/7 Mode (24/7 TIMER)

Display Sections:

• Current Time of Day: The large digits at the top display the current time.

• Daylight Zone: The lower left section shows the ON and OFF times for Daylight mode.

• Nightlight Zone: The lower middle section shows the ON and OFF times for Nightlight mode.

• W/R/G/B Adjustment Zone: The lower right section shows the brightness percentage for each color channel.

Buttons:

• SET: Used to set the local time.

• D/M (Day/Moon): Toggles between setting Daylight and Moonlight modes and saves settings.

• 24/7: Activates and sets the 24/7 mode.

• ON/OFF Icon & Color Setting: Manually turns the light on/off and cycles through color adjustment settings (W, R, B, G).

• UP/DOWN Icon: Used to increase or decrease values (time, brightness).

Before using the light, you must set the local time first. Please install the included cell battery into the back of the controller before programming.

1. Press and hold the SET icon for 5 seconds. The Hour on the main digits will begin to blink.

2. Press the UP/DOWN icon to adjust the clock to the current hour of the day.

3. Press the SET icon to set the minute. The Minute on the main digits will begin to blink.

4. Press the UP/DOWN icon to adjust the clock to the current minute of the day.

5. Press the SET icon. “24H” on the main digits will begin to blink.

6. Press the UP/DOWN icon to switch between 12H and 24H format. Choose your desired time format.

7. Press the SET icon to save the settings.

You can choose to enable or disable the daylight and moonlight cycles independently.

1. Press the D/M icon. “S1” will appear on the main digit display and “DAY-L ON OFF” will blink. “ON” appears in the Daylight Zone. S1 represents the daylight setting.

2. To turn off the daylight cycle, press the UP or DOWN icon. “OFF” will appear on the daylight zone display.

3. Press the D/M icon to save your choice for the daylight setting.

4. Press the D/M icon again. “S2” will appear on the main digit display and “MOON-L ON OFF” will blink. S2 represents the moonlight setting.

5. Use the same method (UP/DOWN icons) to turn the moonlight cycle on or off, and press D/M to save.

If the light is used for the first time in daytime and night mode, it will use the following preprogrammed default settings:

Daylight Settings:

• ON Time: 06:00

• OFF Time: 18:00

• Color Spectrum: W:100%, B:100%, R:100%, G:100% (White light)

Moonlight Settings:

• ON Time: 18:00

• OFF Time: 23:00

• Color Spectrum: W:0%, B:100%, R:0%, G:0% (Blue light)

The light cycle includes a 15-minute slow ramp-up period after the ON time and a 15-minute slow ramp-down period before the OFF time for both daylight and moonlight.

Follow these steps to customize the Day and Moon light schedule and colors:

1. Press and hold the D/M icon for 5 seconds. “S1” will appear on the main digit display and “DAY-L ON” will blink.

2. Press and hold the D/M icon for 5 seconds again. The Hour on the daylight zone will blink.

3. Press the UP/DOWN icon to adjust the desired daylight ON hour, then press the D/M icon to save. The Minute on the daylight zone will blink.

4. Press the UP/DOWN icon to adjust the desired ON minute, then press the D/M icon to save. “Brightness % W” on the color adjustment zone will blink.

5. Press the UP/DOWN icon to adjust the desired intensity for the white light (W).

6. Press the ON/OFF icon to move to the red light setting. “R” on the color adjustment zone will blink.

7. Press the UP/DOWN icon to adjust red light brightness.

8. Press the ON/OFF icon to move to the blue light setting. “B” on the color adjustment zone will blink.

9. Press the UP/DOWN icon to adjust blue light intensity.

10. Press the ON/OFF icon to move to the green light setting. “G” on the color adjustment zone will blink.

11. Press the UP/DOWN icon to adjust green light intensity.

12. Press the D/M icon to save the color settings and move to the daylight OFF time. The Hour on the daylight zone will blink.

13. Press the UP/DOWN icon to adjust the desired OFF hour, then press the D/M icon to save. The Minute on the daylight zone will blink.

14. Press the UP/DOWN icon to adjust the desired OFF minute, then press the D/M icon to save. This completes the daylight setting and moves to the moonlight setting. “MOON-L ON” and “Hour” on the moonlight zone will blink.

15. Press the UP/DOWN icon to adjust the desired moonlight ON hour, then press the D/M icon to save. The Minute on the moonlight zone will blink.

16. Press the UP/DOWN icon to adjust the desired ON minute, then press the D/M icon to save. “Brightness % W” will blink.

17. Repeat the previous steps (5-14) to set the moonlight ON/OFF time and light color spectrum.

NOTE: When in setup mode, the display will stay on the setting interface for 30 seconds. If no operation occurs within 30 seconds, it will automatically exit and revert to the Current time display. You will have to start programming again.

1. To activate 24/7 mode, press the 24/7 icon. “ON” will appear on the main digit display, and the 24/7 indicator light will turn on. “S3” will be displayed, representing 24/7 mode.

Note: To turn off 24/7 mode, simply press the 24/7 icon again. “OFF” will appear on the main display, and the day and night timer indicator lights will turn on instead.

2. To program the 24/7 cycle, press and hold the 24/7 icon until “S3” appears on the display. “L1” and the 24/7 indicator light will blink, and the Hour on the lower left zone (Daylight Zone) will blink. This is the ON time for the first time period (L1).

3. Press the UP/DOWN icon to adjust the desired L1 ON hour.

4. Press the 24/7 icon. The minute digit will blink.

5. Press the UP/DOWN icon to adjust the desired L1 ON minute.

6. Press the 24/7 icon to set the L1 OFF time. The Hour digit on the middle zone (Nightlight Zone) will blink.

7. Press the UP/DOWN icon to adjust the desired L1 OFF hour.

8. Press the 24/7 icon. “Brightness % W” on the color adjustment zone will blink. Press the UP/DOWN icon to adjust the white light desired intensity.

9. Press the ON/OFF icon. “R” on the color adjustment zone will blink. Press the UP/DOWN icon to adjust red light brightness.

10. Press the ON/OFF icon. “B” on the color adjustment zone will blink. Press the UP/DOWN icon to adjust blue light intensity.

11. Press the ON/OFF icon. “G” on the color adjustment zone will blink. Press the UP/DOWN icon to adjust green light intensity.

12. Follow the steps above to complete the settings for the remaining time periods, L2 through L4.

The HYGGER HG129-36W comes with preprogrammed settings for the 24/7 mode as follows:

• L1: 08:00 – 09:00 W: 5%, R: 5%, G: 5%, B: 5%

• L2: 09:00 – 11:00 W: 50%, R: 50%, G: 50%, B: 50%

• L3: 11:00 – 15:00 W: 100%, R: 100%, G: 100%, B: 100%

• L4: 15:00 – 19:00 W: 0%, R: 0%, G: 0%, B: 100%

• L5: 19:00 – 07:59 W: 0%, R: 0%, G: 0%, B: 0% (Moonlight)

Note: In 24/7 mode, the light will slowly ramp up to the set color and intensity during the first 15 minutes of the L1 and L5 periods. For the L2 to L4 periods, the light takes 3 minutes to ramp up.

When the light is off, press the ON/OFF icon to turn it on. Once on, you can click the ON/OFF icon to select a single color or the full spectrum light that you prefer. Use the UP/DOWN icon to adjust the brightness of the selected color. To turn the light off, press and hold the ON/OFF icon.

When the light is on, quickly press the ON/OFF icon twice to turn on the light color changing loop. The light will cycle through Full Spectrum-Red-Orange-Yellow-Green-Cyan-Blue-Plum.

NOTE: Do not press the button too fast. Please be patient and give the light 2 seconds to allow it to catch up with your instruction.

Please follow these safety guidelines:

✓ Please mind that the temperature range for the light is between 23°F ~113°F (-5°C~45°C).

To avoid possible electric shock, do not immerse the switch in the water. Basic safety precautions should be observed:

A. If the light falls into the water, DO NOT touch it. First unplug it, then retrieve it. If electrical components of the light get wet, unplug it immediately.

B. Carefully examine the light after installation. It should not be plugged in if there is water on parts that are not intended to be wet.

C. Do not operate the light if it has a damaged cord or plug, is malfunctioning, dropped, or damaged in any manner. The power cord of this light cannot be replaced. If the cord is damaged, the light should be discarded.

To avoid the possibility of the light plug getting wet, position the aquarium and its stand to one side of a wall-mounted outlet to prevent water from dripping onto the outlet or plug. A “drip loop” should be arranged by the user for each cord that connects the light to the outlet. The “drip loop” is the part of the cord that hangs below the level of the outlet or the connector. This prevents water from traveling along the cord and coming in contact with the outlet. If the plug or outlet does get wet, DO NOT unplug the cord. First, disconnect the fuse or circuit breaker that supplies power to the light. Then, unplug and examine for the presence of water in the outlet.

WARNING: INGESTION HAZARD

This product contains a button cell or coin battery. DEATH or serious injury can occur if ingested. A swallowed button cell or coin battery can cause internal chemical burns in as little as 2 hours. KEEP new and used batteries OUT OF REACH OF CHILDREN. Seek immediate medical attention if a battery is suspected to be swallowed or inserted inside any part of the body.

a) Remove and immediately recycle or dispose of used batteries according to local regulations and keep away from children. Do NOT dispose of batteries in household trash or incinerate.

b) Even used batteries may cause severe injury or death.

c) Call a local poison control center for treatment information.

d) The compatible battery type is CR1220.

f) Non-rechargeable batteries are not to be recharged.

g) Do not force discharge, recharge, disassemble, heat above the manufacturer’s specified temperature rating, or incinerate. Doing so may result in injury.

h) Ensure the batteries are installed correctly according to polarity (+ and -).

i) Do not mix old and new batteries, different brands or types of batteries, such as alkaline, carbon-zinc, or rechargeable batteries.

j) Remove and immediately recycle or dispose of batteries from equipment not used for an extended period of time according to local regulations.

k) Always completely secure the battery compartment. If the battery compartment does not close securely, stop using the product, remove the batteries, and keep them away from children.

Do not dispose of this product as unsorted municipal waste. Collection of such waste separately for special treatment is necessary. This product has to be disposed of at an authorized place for the recycling of electrical and electronic appliances rather than being disposed of together with domestic waste. Collecting and recycling waste is a way of saving natural resources. Please consult with your local seller to make sure the product is disposed of in an environmentally friendly way.
