  4. Open the HP Smart app, and then do one of the following:

    • iOS/Android: On the home screen, tap the Plus icon and then select the printer. If the printer is not in the list, tap Add Printer. Follow the onscreen instructions to add the printer to your network.
    • Windows and macOS: On the home screen, tap the Plus icon and select the printer. If the printer is not found, click or tap Set up a new printer. Follow the onscreen instructions to add the printer to your network.

Before you can connect your printer to a wireless network using WPS, make sure you have the following:

    Would it kill you to make the buttons visible and more obvious? Any device that requires a 140 page manual to be downloaded in order to turn the damn thing on is crap. After an hour we finally git it to connect and print something, but we still can’t get it to scan or copy. Please stop trying to make hp products slick and cool, and just make them simple to use.
