How do I bleed the system of the HAULMASTER 59665 before first use?

1. Turn the Handle counterclockwise to open the valve.

2. Remove the Oil Fill Plug.

3. Pump the Handle up and down quickly several times. This will purge air from the system.

4. Check the oil level. The oil should be level with the bottom of the Oil Fill Plug hole.

5. If necessary, add high grade hydraulic jack oil (sold separately) until the oil is at the proper level.

6. Replace the Oil Fill Plug.

7. Turn the Handle clockwise to close the valve.

8. Test the Jack several times for proper operation before attempting to lift a load.

How do I lift a vehicle with the HAULMASTER 59665?

1. Park the vehicle on a flat, level, solid surface safely away from oncoming traffic. Turn off the vehicle’s engine.

2. Place the vehicle’s transmission in “PARK” (if automatic) or in its lowest gear (if manual). Set the vehicle’s emergency brake. Then, chock the wheels that are not being lifted.

3. Turn the Handle counterclockwise to lower the Jack. Once the Jack is fully lowered, turn the Handle firmly clockwise to close the valve.

4. Carefully position the Saddle of the Jack under the vehicle manufacturer’s recommended lifting point.

5. Pump the Handle until the top of the Jack’s Saddle has nearly reached the vehicle lifting point. Position the Saddle directly under the vehicle’s lifting point.

6. To lift the vehicle, pump the Handle of the Jack. Use smooth, full strokes for the most efficient lifting.

7. Once the vehicle is raised, support the vehicle with a pair of appropriately rated jack stands (not included). Place the jack stands under a solid part of the vehicle’s frame or suspension attachment points.

8. Center the vehicle on the saddle of the jack stands.

9. Turn the Jack’s Handle counterclockwise slowly to lower the vehicle onto the jack stands. Then, continue to turn the Handle counterclockwise to lower the Jack completely.

10. Remove the Jack from under the vehicle.

How do I lower a vehicle with the HAULMASTER 59665?

1. Carefully remove all tools, parts, etc. from under the vehicle.

2. Position the Saddle under the lifting point.

3. Turn the Handle firmly clockwise and raise high enough to clear the jack stands, then carefully remove the jack stands.

4. Slowly turn the Handle counterclockwise (never more than two full turns) to lower the vehicle onto the ground.

5. Lower the Jack completely. Then, store in a safe, dry location out of reach of children.

How do I perform general maintenance on the HAULMASTER 59665?

1. Before each use, inspect the general condition of the Jack. Check for broken, cracked, or bent parts, loose or missing parts, and any condition that may affect the proper operation of the product. If a problem occurs, have the problem corrected before further use.

2. Before each use, test the Jack several times for proper operation prior to its actual use. If the Jack does not seem to be working properly, follow Bleeding instructions.

3. Change the hydraulic oil at least once every three years. To do so:

a. With the Jack fully lowered, remove the Oil Fill Plug on the side of the Housing.

b. Tip the Jack to allow the old hydraulic oil to drain out of the Housing completely, and dispose of the old hydraulic oil in accordance with local regulations.

c. With the Jack upright, completely fill the Housing with a high quality hydraulic oil (not included) until the oil is level with the bottom of the oil fill hole.

d. Then, follow the Bleeding instructions.

4. Clean with a clean cloth. Then, store the Jack in a safe, dry location out of reach of children and other non-authorized people.

What should I do if my HAULMASTER 59665 will not lift to its full height?

If your HAULMASTER 59665 will not lift to its full height, the possible causes may be that the oil level is low or that air has entered the hydraulic system.

To resolve this, first verify that the release valve is fully closed by turning the handle clockwise. You may need to bleed the system to remove any trapped air. If the problem persists after bleeding, check the oil level and add high-quality hydraulic oil as needed.

What troubleshooting steps can I take if my HAULMASTER 59665 seems to have poor lift or lifts slowly?

If your HAULMASTER 59665 experiences poor lift or lifts slowly, the possible causes could be that the oil level is low, air is trapped in the system, or the release valve is not fully closed.

The solution is to first ensure the release valve is securely closed. Then, bleed the system to purge any air. Finally, check the oil level and top it off if necessary.

What should I do if the HAULMASTER 59665 lowers slowly or does not hold a load?

If the HAULMASTER 59665 lowers slowly or fails to hold a load, this may be due to the release valve not being fully closed, air in the system, or a valve malfunction.

First, ensure the release valve is tightly closed. Then, bleed the system to remove trapped air. If these steps do not resolve the issue, the jack may have an internal valve malfunction and should be serviced by a qualified technician.

Why won’t the saddle on my HAULMASTER 59665 lower completely?

If the saddle on your HAULMASTER 59665 will not lower all the way, it is likely that the oil reservoir is overfilled.

To fix this, check the oil level and drain the excess oil until it is level with the bottom of the fill plug hole.
