What is the GEYA GRT6-ST relay designed for?
The GEYA GRT6-ST relay is designated for the delay ON function of motors in a star/delta configuration.
What are the main function features of the GEYA GRT6-ST?
– Time t1 (star): Features a time scale from 0.1 seconds to 10 minutes, divided into 4 time ranges. Rough time setting is adjusted by a rotary switch.
– Time t2 (delay): Features a time scale from 0.1 seconds to 1 second. The time is set using a potentiometer.
– Relay status is indicated by an LED.
– It is a 1-MODULE device designed for DIN rail mounting.
How can I identify the rated control supply voltage from the model number of the GEYA GRT6-ST?
The rated control supply voltage is indicated by the code at the end of the model number GRT6-ST/.
A230: AC230V
A400: AC400V
S240: AC/DC 24V-240V

What do the indicators and controls on the front panel of the GEYA GRT6-ST represent?
Based on the panel diagram, the front panel elements are:
Un: This green LED indicates that the supply voltage is on.
R: This red LED indicates the output relay status.
Time range setting (1s, 10s, 1m, 10m): A rotary switch to set the base time range for the star time (t1).
Time setting (10-100%): A potentiometer for fine adjustment of the star time (t1).
Star/delta delay setting (0.1s – 1.0s): A potentiometer to set the delay time (t2) between the star and delta contactors switching.
How does the Delay ON star/delta function work on the GEYA GRT6-ST?
The operational sequence is as follows:
1. When supply voltage (U) is applied, the relay for the star connection (terminals 15-18) closes, and the star time (t1) begins counting.
2. After the set time t1 elapses, the star relay (15-18) opens.
3. A fixed delay time (t2) immediately begins.
4. After the delay time t2 elapses, the relay for the delta connection (terminals 25-28) closes and remains closed as long as the supply voltage is present.
How do I set the delay time on the GEYA GRT6-ST?
To set the star delay time (t1), you use two knobs. The final delay time is the value of Knob 1 multiplied by the value of Knob 2.
Knob 1: This is the delay gear setting. Select a time range (e.g., 10s for 10 seconds, 10m for 10 minutes). “s” stands for second, and “m” stands for minute.
Knob 2: This provides fine adjustment of the delay time, from 10% to 100% of the range selected with Knob 1.
Example 1: Setting for 5 seconds.
Set Knob 1 to 10s. Set Knob 2 to 50%. The delay time will be 10s x 50% = 5s.
Example 2: Setting for 8 minutes.
Set Knob 1 to 10m. Set Knob 2 to 80%. The delay time will be 10m x 80% = 8m.
The transition delay between star and delta (t2) is set using its own dedicated potentiometer, adjustable between 0.1 and 1.0 seconds.
What are the dimensions of the GEYA GRT6-ST?
The dimensions of the GEYA GRT6-ST are 90mm (height) x 18mm (width) x 64mm (depth).
What safety precautions should be followed when installing the GEYA GRT6-ST?
The GEYA GRT6-ST must be installed by qualified electricians. All electrical connections for the product must comply with the appropriate safety standards.
How should the GEYA GRT6-ST be disposed of?
