1. Measure the distance from the seating area to the viewing area. The ideal position is when the center of the display (where the diagonals meet) is as close as possible to eye level.

2. Cut a piece of sturdy cardboard that’s approximately the same size as your display. Use the cardboard to find a comfortable height and mark the mounting location with a pencil.

The procedure for attaching the wall bracket of the GABOR FSM-LA to wooden studs is as follows:

1. Use a stud finder to locate the edges of the wooden studs and mark the center of each one.

2. Tape the mounting template (B) to the marked locations. Use the bubble level (G) to make sure the template is level before drilling. Use a pencil to mark the four locations as shown, and place a piece of tape over each mark.

3. Remove the template and use a 1/4-inch (6 mm) wood drill bit to predrill the four anchor locations as shown, 3.5 inches (90 mm) deep, and then clean out the debris from the holes.

4. Screw in the four wall screws (W-A) and washers (W-C), using a 1/2-inch or 13 mm socket as shown. Use the bubble level to make sure the mount is level.

The hardware required for this process includes: Wall bracket (A) 1x, Template (B) 1x, Wall screws (W-A) 4x, and Wall washers (W-C) 4x.

The procedure for attaching the wall bracket of the GABOR FSM-LA to concrete is as follows:

1. Tape the mounting template to the wall and use the bubble level to make sure the template is level before drilling. Use a pencil to mark the six locations as shown and place a piece of tape over each mark.

2. Use a 1/2-inch (12 mm) concrete drill bit to predrill the marked spots 3.7 inches (95 mm) deep, then remove the template and clean out the debris from the holes.

3. Insert the six concrete anchors (W-B) into the predrilled holes. Use a hammer to lightly tap the anchors into the concrete.

4. Screw the six wall screws (W-A) and washers (W-C) into the previously tapped wall anchors, using a 1/2-inch or 13 mm socket as shown. Use a bubble level to make sure the mount is level.

The hardware required for this process includes: Wall bracket (A) 1x, Template (B) 1x, Concrete anchors (W-B) 6x, Wall screws (W-A) 6x, and Wall washers (W-C) 6x.

To select the right VESA mounting hardware for your display with the GABOR FSM-LA:

A selection of screws is included to fit VESA standards on the backs of most displays. Select the screws (M-A, M-B, M-C, M-D), spacers (M-E, M-F), and washers (not explicitly lettered in the hardware list for this step, but implied by the diagram) that best fit your display. Hand thread the screws to determine the correct diameter.

Install the brackets directly into your display.

If Your Display Has Recessed Mounting or a Curved Back:

Install the spacers between the bracket and your display. You can combine spacers to best fit your display. Then fasten with the screws and washers until secure.

Note that if the screw is too short, it may not hold the display. If it’s too long, it may damage the display.

The hardware listed for display brackets includes: Display brackets (C) 4x, M6x14 mm screws (M-A) 4x, M8x16 mm screws (M-B) 4x, M6 x 30 mm screws (M-C) 4x, M8x35 mm screws (M-D) 4x, Spacers (M-E) 4x, Wall washers (M-F) 4x, and Hex key (M-G) 8x.

It is important that two people perform this step when mounting the display onto the wall bracket of the GABOR FSM-LA.

1. Lift your display up to the wall bracket’s display bars, and hang the display from the hooks of the display brackets.

2. Flip up the display bracket latches and screw in the thumbscrews (D) until secure.

Once your display is attached to the wall mount of the GABOR FSM-LA, you can fine-tune the following adjustments:

Horizontal level: ±3°

Tilt: +5° to -15°

Swivel: ±90°

The tools required for these adjustments include Hex key (E), Crescent wrench (F), and Bubble level (G).
