For the cooling temperature controller: Level MIN – MAX = Cooling levels.

For the freezing temperature controller: Level MIN – MAX = Cooling levels.

The appliance is intended for use in private households. It is suitable for refrigerating/freezing food.

Do not use the appliance for purposes other than cooling/freezing food. The manufacturer accepts no liability for any damage.

Modifications or alterations to the appliance are not permitted for safety reasons.

Device is not suitable for installation.

Appliances with a mechanical temperature controller are intended for use up to a maximum altitude of 2000 metres above sea level.

Avoid naked flames and ignition sources at all costs.

Ventilate the room in which the appliance is located well.

Contact customer service.

The packaging must be undamaged. Check the device for transport damage. Never connect a damaged appliance. In the event of damage, contact the supplier.

Remove all adhesive strips on the right and left side of the appliance door.

Remove all adhesive tape and packaging parts from the interior of the appliance.

Remove adhesive residues with lye water.

Note: There may be stickers with warnings on the device. Always observe these and do not remove them from the device.

1. Remove the upper hinge cover.

2. Remove the upper hinge.

3. Remove the screw hole covers on the left-hand side and fit them on the right-hand side.

4. Remove the upper appliance door, then remove the centre hinge.

5. Remove the right-hand door stopper from the top door.

6. Remove the hinge hole cover from the left-hand side of the lower door and fit it on the right hand side.

7. Remove the screw hole covers from the left-hand side and fit them on the right-hand side.

8. Attach the left-hand door stopper to the top door.

9. Remove the lower appliance door and remove the lower hinge. Loosen the hinge pin. Turn the hinge 180° and reinsert the hinge pin.

10. Remove the right-hand door stopper from the bottom door.

11. Attach the left-hand door stopper to the bottom door.

12. Fit the lower hinge on the left hand side and place the lower appliance door on the hinge pin.

13. Attach the centre hinge on the left-hand side, then attach the upper appliance door.

14. Fit the top hinge and attach the hinge cover.

If the support surface is slightly uneven, level the appliance with the front feet.

1. Connect the device to the power supply. The interior lighting switches on when the appliance doors are opened.

2. To switch on the appliance, turn the temperature control knob from “MIN” to the right to the desired cooling temperature. The temperature control is located inside the appliance.

3. Pull out the mains plug to switch off the appliance.

Do not switch on the appliance immediately after a power cut to avoid possible overloading of the compressor or blowing of the fuse.

1. Use the rotary knob to regulate the internal temperature of the appliance.

2. For initial operation, set the temperature control to the highest setting.

3. After approx. 2 hours, the appliance has reached its normal operating temperature and is ready for use.

4. Set the temperature regulator back to a medium level.

The symbol opposite (OK sticker) indicates a maximum of +4 °C and colder in the refrigerator (above the glass shelf above the vegetable tray).

If the “OK” symbol is not visible (temperature is not optimal):

1. Set the temperature controller one/half step colder (wait approx. 12 hours before checking again). Repeat this step until the OK symbol appears.

To determine whether it is too cold in the area where the OK symbol is visible (below +4°C):

1. Gradually set the temperature control one/half step warmer (wait approx. 12 hours until the next test).

2. If “OK” is still visible, set the temperature one or half step warmer (wait approx. 12 hours until the next test).

3. As long as “OK” is visible, repeat step 1 until the centre point for the target temperature of +4 °C is reached.

Observe the following when storing in the cold store:

Only use flawless food.

Minimise the time between purchase and placing the food in the appliance.

Only store fresh meat and fresh fish well wrapped in protective film or airtight containers in the coolest place in the appliance for a maximum of 1 to 2 days. Avoid contact with cooked food.

Avoid contamination of food with raw meat and raw fish. Meat juice must not come into contact with other foods.

Do not store potatoes, onions, garlic, tomatoes, bananas and avocados in the fridge – and if you do, only for a short time and pack them well.

Cover food before storing; especially cold dishes, cooked food and food containing spices.

Do not put hot food in the fridge until it has cooled down.

Place food in the refrigerator so that the air can circulate freely in the compartment.

When storing bottles in the bottle compartment of the inner door, make sure that they are not too heavy; the compartment could detach from the door.

Observe the following when storing in the freezer:

In the event of a power failure, leave the appliance doors closed.

Only use flawless food.

Do not interrupt the cold chain of frozen products.

Minimise the time between purchase and placing the frozen food in the appliance.

Do not freeze too large quantities at once. The quality of the food is best preserved if it is quickly frozen through to the centre.

Only store high-proof, alcoholic drinks tightly closed and upright.

Fill the ice cube tray (not included) three quarters full with water and place it horizontally on the base of the freezer compartment.

Loosen the frozen ice cube tray with a blunt object (e.g. spoon handle).

Hold the finished ice cubes under running water for a short time to make them easier to remove.

Do not install the appliance near cookers, radiators or other heat sources.

Ensure adequate ventilation at the base, sides and rear of the appliance.

The arrangement of drawers, shelves and racks should be retained wherever possible for efficient energy use.

For a larger storage space, remove the centre shelves/drawers.

An evenly filled fridge/freezer compartment contributes to optimum energy utilisation.

Do not place hot food in the appliance. Allow food to cool down first.

Defrost frozen food in the refrigerator.

Do not set the temperature colder than necessary.

Ensure the appliance’s door seals are completely intact.

Only open the appliance when necessary and for as short a time as possible.

1. Remove the chilled food. Cover everything and store in a cool place.

2. To clean, lift the glass shelves slightly upwards and pull them out until they can be swivelled upwards or downwards and removed.

3. Slide the door compartments upwards and remove them.

4. Clean the appliance, including the door seal and interior fittings, with a cloth and lukewarm water, adding a little standard washing-up liquid.

5. Wipe with clean water and rub dry.

6. Check the condensation drain hole. Clean regularly using cotton buds.

7. Insert the cleaned glass shelves, door compartments, drawers, etc.

8. Ensure that the interior of the appliance is completely dry.

9. Connect the appliance to the mains and switch it on.

Note: Do not use abrasive, aggressive cleaning agents or abrasive sponges. Do not use steam cleaning equipment.

Clamp a sufficiently long strip of paper 50 mm wide and 0.08 mm thick at various points on the appliance. If the paper can be pulled through with slight resistance, the appliance door seal is tight.

Alternatively, place a torch on a glass shelf in the appliance, direct the light towards the appliance door seal and close the door. If no direct light shines through, the appliance door seal is tight.

1. Remove food from the appliance.

2. Pull the appliance door seal out of the appliance.

3. Clean the appliance door as usual.

4. Insert a new appliance door seal into the gaps.

5. First insert the appliance door seal into the corners and press / stroke with your thumb.

6. If the appliance door seal does not fit evenly everywhere: carefully heat the relevant areas with a hairdryer and pull it out slightly with your fingers.

The cooling area is equipped with an automatic defrosting system. Frost and ice defrost automatically. The defrost water flows through the channel into the defrosting hole at the rear of the appliance into a defrost water tray. The heat from the motor causes the condensation to evaporate.

Note: If the condensation does not drain properly, check whether the drainage channel is blocked.

The freezer compartment uses a No Frost System. This means that no frost forms on the interior walls or on the food during operation. The constantly circulating cold air prevents the formation of frost. An automatic fan control system drives the fan.

1. Remove food.

2. Pull out the mains plug or switch off and remove the fuse.

3. Defrost the appliance and clean it thoroughly.

4. Leave appliance doors open to prevent odours and mould from forming.
