To enjoy a nice cool breeze from the EVAPOLAR EVACHILL EV-500, you need a well-ventilated room with relative humidity below 70 percent, 800 milliliters of pure water, and a 2A 5V power supply.

Step 1. Disconnect the cord and protect the USB port with the silicone plug.

Step 2. Slide the handle backward and lift it up. Locate the water reservoir opening under the handle, push down the locker, and open the upper cover.

Step 3. Fill the reservoir with pure water using the provided funnel for safer filling. Filtered water is strongly recommended.

Step 4. Hold the device horizontally by the handle and move it slowly to avoid leakage.

Step 5. Place the device on a flat horizontal surface, put the handle down, and slide it back to its original position.

Use a power source such as a laptop, PC, power bank, or adapter with at least 2A 5V. Connect the power cord to the device and the power source. You will see three LED lights blinking one by one. Push the control button on top of the device to start the fan.

Use a short press on the control button to adjust the airflow speed. The LED lights indicate the speed: the left light indicates 1st speed, the middle indicates 2nd speed, the right indicates 3rd speed, and all LED lights on indicate extra speed.

You can turn the lighting on or off by using a long press (pressing and holding) on the control button at any time.

You can move the front grills on the EVAPOLAR EVACHILL EV-500 to adjust the direction of the airflow.

Step 1. Disconnect the device from a power source.

Step 2. Slide the handle backwards, remove the cover, and take out the funnel.

Step 3. Remove the old cartridge by moving it upwards.

Step 4. Place a new cartridge in the same position, ensuring correct orientation, and push until it is in the center of the device.

Step 5. Place the upper cover back so it fits in the slots and slide the handle to its original position.

The cartridge for the EVAPOLAR EVACHILL EV-500 should be changed every 3 to 6 months, depending on usage, storage, and water quality.

It is recommended to dry the device completely before these actions. To do this, run the device on maximum fan speed for at least 4 to 5 hours to dry water out from the internal reservoir section.

The front grill and the internal area can be wiped with a soft cloth. Before cleaning, ensure the device is totally dry, unplugged, and the cartridge is extracted. Do not wipe the inside of the cartridge, only its outer plastic body.

Dry the device, clean it as described in the instructions, and place it into an appropriately sized package, with the original package being recommended. Store it in a dry space at room temperature.

Always disconnect the device from the power source before any transportation. Do not transport the device long distances with a wet cartridge. For shorter distances, ensure the device with a wet cartridge is not isolated in a box or bag with no airflow.

If the humidity level is over 70 percent, ventilate the room. If the cartridge has expired, replace it.

The device may not be receiving enough power. Ensure the power source is 2A 5V.

Disconnect the device before filling, cleaning, maintaining, or moving it.

Do not clean the EVAPOLAR EVACHILL EV-500 with gasoline, window-washing liquid, or any organic solvent. The warranty does not cover damages caused by improper cleaning.

Immediately disconnect the power cord and let the EVAPOLAR EVACHILL EV-500 dry for at least 24 hours.

To avoid possible damage, do not let foreign objects enter the device, do not place heavy items on top, do not submerge it in liquid, do not subject it to excessive shocks and vibrations, do not cover the device while operating, and do not leave the operating device unattended.

Do not open the upper cover or remove any replaceable parts while the EVAPOLAR EVACHILL EV-500 is in operation. Do not try to touch the fan or block it with any foreign objects while it is in operation.

Do not touch the power supply or power cord with wet hands. Do not operate the device with a damaged cord or plug. Do not use the device while bathing or in the shower.

Place the EVAPOLAR EVACHILL EV-500 on a smooth horizontal surface. Do not place it next to heating electrical equipment or other heat sources, including naked flames. Do not place it upon or next to any other electronic devices to avoid a short circuit in case of leakage.

Stop using the EVAPOLAR EVACHILL EV-500 if you notice an unusual sound or smell. Do not try to fix the problem yourself, as all repairs must be carried out by qualified service personnel.

To extend the time period before the next refill, fill up the reservoir, wait until the cartridge is full of water, which takes a maximum of 10 minutes, and then refill the reservoir once again.

Please dispose of the cartridge and the EVAPOLAR EVACHILL EV-500 according to state law at the end of their service life.
