You must observe the following precautions: Read all instructions carefully before use. Do not share the power source with other high power appliances. Keep the machine away from children and unauthorized personnel. Do not leave the machine unattended. Do not touch the power cord with sharp objects or high temperature surfaces. Always check that the machine is not damaged prior to each use. After use, press the power button to close and unplug the unit. Do not submerge or saturate the unit with water, and do not use a pressure washer. Do not plug or unplug with wet hands. Do not use for other than intended purposes, and do not use outdoors. Always place on a firm, dry, and level surface. Do not modify the unit.

Before loading, ensure the graduated hand grip is set to 0 and the motor is completely stopped. First, position the adjustable product holder to leave enough space. Move the product pusher to the right to leave space. Load the product. Move the adjustable product holder up against the product and secure it in place using the tightening knob. Finally, position the product pusher on the product.

First, complete the product loading instructions. Unlock the carriage by turning the lever clockwise. Stand in line with the machine at the non-blade end with your body straight up and down. Grip the product pusher with your right hand and position your left hand near the slice guard to retrieve slices. Push the blade ON button. Apply gentle, even pressure to push the hopper assembly towards the blade. Once sliced, the product exits to the left. Stop the slicer by pressing the OFF button and turn the thickness selection knob to 0.

Complete product loading instructions. Lock the carriage by turning the lever counterclockwise. Stand in line with the machine at the non-blade end with your body straight up and down. Push the blade ON button, then push the carriage ON button. You may adjust speed with the small knob near the control panel. Do not leave the machine unattended while running. Stop the slicer by pressing the OFF button and turn the thickness selection knob to 0 when finished.

Turn on the scale by pressing the power button. Ensure the display shows 0.000 lb, and press the TARE button if it does not. Place a food safe barrier on the scale and tare it again. Place the product in the center of the scale to get an accurate weight. Press the power button to turn off the scale after use.

Turn on the scale. Ensure the display shows 0.000 lb, pressing TARE if necessary. Press and hold the TARE button for 5 seconds until a C appears on the display. While holding TARE, simultaneously press the power button. Release both buttons. When prompted, ensure no load is on the plate and press TARE. When prompted to place the 8 lb sample weight, place it on the plate and wait for the prompt to press TARE. Remove the weight when prompted and wait for the screen to display Setting finished.

Disconnect the plug and clean the blade with denatured alcohol. Lift the sharpener cap and turn it 180 degrees. Release the cap onto the locator pins. Ensure the blade is between the two grinders. Connect the plug and turn the slicer ON. Press the rear button on the sharpener so the blade contacts the grinders. Let it rotate for 30 to 40 seconds. Press both buttons simultaneously for 3 to 4 seconds to dress the edge. Clean the grinders and blade, then replace the sharpener to its original position.

Disconnect the plug. Turn the thickness selection knob to 0. Move the hopper assembly towards the controls. Partially unscrew the hopper lock knob. Pull the assembly towards the operator. Completely unscrew the hopper lock knob and lift the assembly to remove. Clean with warm water and a neutral detergent.

Disconnect the plug. Wear metal cut resistant gloves. Unscrew the hand grip from the blade cover tie rod. Pull the blade cover plate to expose the blade. The blade can be cleaned with a damp cloth and neutral cleaner. To remove the blade, remove the sharpening device, remove the four screws in the center of the blade, and use the jig to carefully lift the blade from the machine.
