IMPORTANT: Before using this product, make sure you read these instructions and the safety instructions in the online User’s Guide.

1. Turn on your computer or image source.

2. Press the power button on the projector or remote control. After the status light stays blue, the projector is ready.

Note: If the Direct Power On function is enabled, you can turn the projector on without pressing the power button; just plug it in or flip the switch controlling the outlet to which the projector is connected. If the Auto Power On function is enabled, you can turn the projector on by connecting an HDMI cable. For more information, see the online User’s Guide.

3. If your image does not appear, see “Switching Between Image Sources” or “Troubleshooting.”

The default language of the projector’s menu system is English, but you can change it as necessary.

1. Press the Menu button to access the projector’s menu system.

2. Select Management > Language.

3. Select your language.

4. When you’re done, press the Menu button to exit.

Press the Source Search button or one of the source buttons (HDMI, Wireless, USB, Computer/HDBaseT) on the remote control.

1. Press the down arrow/A/V Mute button on the projector.

2. Press the Enter button to change the test pattern.

3. When you’re done, press the Esc button to clear the test pattern.

Note: See the online User’s Guide for instructions on displaying a test pattern using the remote control.

Set the Screen Type setting to the screen’s aspect ratio.

1. Press the Menu button.

2. Select Installation > Screen Type.

3. Select the screen’s aspect ratio.

Note: The displayed image should match the screen’s size and aspect ratio.

4. When you’re done, press the Menu button to exit.

After changing the screen type, you may need to change the aspect ratio of the projected image depending on the input signal. Press the Menu button on the remote control and select Image > Aspect to change the aspect ratio, if necessary.

Turn the vertical and horizontal lens shift dials on the projector to adjust the position of the projected image.

If the projector is on a table, you can level the image by turning any of the projector’s adjustable feet.

Turn the zoom ring to reduce/enlarge the image.

Turn the focus ring to sharpen the image.

• Turn the focus ring (center) to sharpen the center of the image.

• Turn the focus ring (corner) to sharpen the corners of the image.

With the projector connected to your network, you are able to monitor and control the projector with a web browser, Epson management software or compatible third-party monitor and control systems.

You must first create a password to remotely access and control the projector.

To manage multiple Epson projectors in your network, you can use Epson Projector Management Connected (EPMC) and Epson Projector Professional Tool (EPPT). For more information, go to http://epson.com (U.S.), http://epson.ca (Canada), or http://latin.epson.com (Latin America) and search for the tool you want to use.

Press the power button on the projector or remote control. If you see a confirmation message, press the power button again.

If the Direct Power On function is enabled, you can flip the switch controlling the outlet to which the projector is connected instead of pressing the power button. To turn on this feature, see the online User’s Guide.

• Make sure the status light on the projector is blue and not flashing.

• Make sure the cables are connected correctly. See the online User’s Guide.

• You may need to change the image source. See “Switching Between Image Sources.” Also, make sure the source device is turned on.

Press the Esc button on the remote control.

Press the E-Zoom button on the remote control.

Press the Volume buttons (+/-) on the remote control.
